A few kilometers away from Phirie city, Kira dropped Leo and Julia before going into the Beast storage device to rest.

Since Leo asked Julia to hide about rank 8 mutated beast, they could only walk back to the city from there.

“Let’s submit the ‘Clear Iron ore caves’ mission in the mission hall.”

Since someone from the mission hall was colluding with the Mountain fiend king in creating that mission, Leo decided to feign ignorance regarding that mission.

“Let’s collect the Hero coins from the Misison hall and rest until Premium auction starts.”

Inside a luxurious building in the core section of the city,

“Master, there are no traces of the Hero coins or the mountain fiend king on the Bandit mountain.”

The two rank 9 heroes in black suits were kneeling in front of an old man with a face full of wrinkles.

Unlike the two rank 9 heroes, the old man was wearing a white suit with a white hand on his head and a wooden stick in his hand.

“What did you say?”

Hearing their words, the old man seethed with rage as he asked them.

Before they could reply, the old man interrupted them before asking, “I want to know what happened.”

“Even though we didn’t find the trace of the mountain bandits or the mountain fiends, we found the signs of fighting at the mountain base and on the mountain top.”

Ren nodded his head as he replied to the old man in white.

“Signs of fighting? Are you telling me someone killed them all, disappeared their bodies and took all my money?”

The old man became even more furious with that conclusion.

“Damn it…I have been waiting for tomorrow’s premium auction for a few years and just when I thought I could finally get my hands on some good items, someone dared to steal my money?”

The old man shook in rage as he looked at the two rank 9 heroes and asked, “You know what you have to do now, right?”

“Yes, master. We have to find those thieves at any cost.”

“If we don’t find those thieves, you will kill us.”

Ren and Ken nodded their heads while trying to hide to keep a calm look on their faces.

“Start investigating from the mission hall.”

The old man barely suppressed his anger as he coldly warned, “Finding the lost treasure in a day is impossible. So, I will give you three days before the ‘God ruins’ opens.”

“Thank you, master.”

“We will definitely find those thieves and retrieve all the hero coins he stole.”

The rank 9 heroes hurriedly thanked the old man before leaving the building.

‘Damn it…now, I will not have enough funds to buy the good things.’

The old man cursed his luck as he walked out of the room where a middle-aged man was waiting for him.

“Mr. White, this is the list of the items for tomorrow’s premium auction.”

Seeing that the old man had walked out of the room, the middle-aged man hurriedly stood up and gave him a tablet.

“Thank you, Family head Oliver.”

The old man nodded his head as he thanked the middle-aged man named Oliver, the family head of the Icefeather family.

As for the old man, his name was White Chandler, known for his various businesses in Phirie city and the second richest person after the city leader.

There were even rumours in the upper circle of the city that he was richer than the city leader.

So, the three powerful families were always trying to be in the good books of White Chandler.

Oliver Icefeather didn’t hide his intentions as he politely asked what he wanted from the old man.

White nodded his head with a slight smile as he checked the list of the items on the screen.

“Are you auctioning off these items tomorrow ?”
