Skylark passed me the mashed potatoes and I flinched. I was in a daydream that had taken up all my attention.
âWhat are you thinking about?â she smirked. Clearly knowing that I was thinking about my mates.
I winked. âA lady never tells.â
âSoâ¦.â She glanced at Olive who was smiling wickedly as well.
The Shack was packed tonight. I was in the red booth with my girlfriends, but the chatter of all the other occupants clearly rang throughout the space. Everyone wanted to catch up in this first week of college apparently.
âFive matesâ¦. Tell me. Who is better in bed?â Skylark giggled, and I rolled my eyes.
âStop it Sky. Two of your brothers are my mates!â I growled.
Olive winked. âI like that, thatâs kinky. Two professors as wellâ¦.â
âIeuw, Olive, those are my brothers you are talking about!â Sky was suddenly appalled.
If she only knew what those brothers were doing to me.
I drank from my white wine and let my fingertip caress the edge of the glass.
âIâm not having sex with all of them.â As far as they knew, Kai was also one of my mates. As was Jax. They had no idea about Dominic Rios though.
âYou are having sex with three of themâ¦. Twins.â Olive giggled as if that was extra funny.
Skylark threw a chicken bone toward her head. âThose are my brothers! Butâ¦â she glanced my way. âI will look passed it if you tell me this one thing.â
âTell you what?â
âIs it Ash or Oak that is better in the sack? I always wondered about that.â
I sealed my lips. âNever telling.â
It was Oak on the rough days and Ash on the soft days, no one would ever guess that though.
âOkay, but still nothing with Jax?â
âNothing. We probably never will.â I do wonder about that. If we never consummated our bond, will we be mated anyway?
âAnd Kai?â Olive asked and I flinched at his name. No one has seen him since his mother died.
âNopeâ¦. Donât know anything about him and donât care.â
They exchanged glances again.
âWhat is it?â
âNothing⦠just that everyone is super jealous of your mates. They just canât believe you got all Paramoreâs.â Olive added somberly.
âWell⦠they can join the club because I canât believe it either.â
