Uncle Olsen didnât go to the Olsen Group. Ever since Jodie South went missing, he had promoted Ellis,
handing over the corporate affairs to the young man
in advance.
As for Sam, aka Uncle Olsen, he devoted all his energy to searching for traces of Jodie.
Unfortunately, up to now, there had still been no leads.
Upon hearing what Ellis had said, he frowned and
stretched out his hand. âGive it to me.â
Ellis placed the report on Samâs desk.
Sam glanced at it and froze slightly. âShe really is the Olsen familyâs daughter!â
Ellis nodded, then continued. âI asked the doctor, and
although sheâs not my uncleâs daughter, the match is very high. She must be my uncleâs niece.â
Sam was slightly taken aback upon hearing this, âNot your uncleâs? Your uncle was the most dashing inhis youth in our familyâ¦â
Sam had Ellis do a DNA test for Keera and his second brother, thinking that Keera might be hisbrotherâs illegitimate daughter.
Ellis then asked, âIf sheâs not your uncleâs, whose could she be? You only have two brothersâ¦â
Hearing that, Sam immediately looked toward Ellis.
Ellis was taken aback. âWhy are you looking at me like
that?â
Sam then said, âCould it be your dadâs?â
âPfftâ¦â
Ellis nearly lost it and said, âThatâs impossible! My parents love each other so much! Donât talknonsense
here.â
Sam looked at him and remained silent, but his eyes
were filled with pity.novelbin
Unable to resist, Ellis said, âUncle, have you never considered that she might be your daughter? Shealso has the surname South, and the Mrs. Olsen you are
searching for has that surname as well⦠It isnât a common surname, you know?â
âItâs impossible.â

Sam spoke with absolute certainty. âIâve told you before, I know whether Iâve done that sort of thing.Since Keera isnât your uncleâs, then she must be your dadâs. Go do another DNA test. Our familyâsdaughter canât be left out in the cold. And it seems like sheâs not living well. If she really is your half-sister, you should help out where you can. After all, our family needs a daughter!â
Ellis was speechless.
He twitched the corner of his mouth and finally walked out of Uncle Olsenâs room, silently making hisway to his own parentsâ place.
Could Keera really be his dadâs illegitimate daughter?
Thinking of his fatherâs henpecked demeanor, he still
found it unbelievable.
Ellis then turned back to glance at Uncle Olsenâs study, suddenly smiling as he took out a strand of hairfrom
his hand.
âSince my dad is under suspicion, Uncle Olsen could also be a suspect, so why not test both to clearthings up?â
Ellic entered his fatherâs room again took hig

toothbrush, and handed everything to his assistant to
send to the testing center.
The secretary suddenly said, âMr. Ellis, I think I saw
Lewis Horton in Clance.â
Ellis was a little stunned, then smiled. âHow is that possible? He has a trauma about Clance. Hewouldnât come here. You mustâve seen someone else!â
But the secretary was puzzled.
Could that be the case?
Ellis then asked, âHowâs the matter I asked you to look into going?â
The secretary, upon hearing this, promptly handed the researched information over to Ellis. âWeâvefound
some information. This Keeraâs birth mother is unknown, and seems like sheâs an orphan. Her adoptiveparents are middle-class, and Keera is quite ordinary herself. She attended a second-rate school, fell inlove, and married her college boyfriend. He married into her family, and she handed over the companymanagement to her husband, Howard Smithâ¦
The secretary paused here.

Ellis then said, âWhat about her?â
âShe got pregnant and has been home taking care of her husband and teaching her child. She neverwent back to work again.â
Ellis stopped in his tracks. âWhat did you say? Her
parents raised her all the way through university just for her to become a housewife? Is her husbandgood to
her?â
The secretary cleared his throat. âQuite the contrary, according to our investigation, Howard had anaffair not long after they were married. Unfortunately, Keera seems oblivious. Her friend Mary Davistold her about it, but she ended up blaming Mary for spreading
rumorsâ¦â
Ellis raised his eyebrow. âAnd then?â
The secretary went on. âLater, Howard said Mary always bad-mouthing him and convinced Keera toties with her. It appears that Keera really did block
Mary.â
These words made Ellisâs mouth twitch. âIs she that stupid? To be manipulated by a man like this?Uncle Olsen said she had an easy-going personality, but does
?
this look like it?â
The secretary, thinking of the information uncovered, also felt it was unbelievable. âSomethinghappened today. Do you know what it was?â
Ellis asked, âWhat?â
âThat Keera seems to have reconnected with Mary somehow. Who knows how she convinced Mary, but they actually signed a partnership deal⦠It seems like Keera did it to try to make Howard comeback to herâ¦â
âI canât believe it!â Ellis could hardly bear to listen any longer. âHow can there be such a useless, incompetent, and foolish woman in this world?â
The secretary was equally perplexed, âIf itâs truly unbearable, why not just divorce? She really isâ¦ân/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
Ellis took a deep breath. âUncle Olsen has met all sor of people, and I never thought heâd misjudgesomeone one day.â
He said, âSuch a woman better not actually be my real sister. That would be an insult to the Olsenfamilyâs
intelligence!â
The secretary coughed. âIt looks like Uncle Olsen
?
intends to acknowledge her and then bring her back
into the familyâ¦â
Ellis immediately stood up. âI donât want such a relative! Sheâs simply too incompetent! Keep an eye onher, and when the DNA test results are out, donât give them to Uncle Olsen. Give them to me firstâ¦â
âYes.â
After the secretary left, Ellis showed a look of disdain. âThat woman is just too stupid!â
Meanwhile.
âThat woman is very foolish and extremely easy to manipulate!â
In the South familyâs small villa.
Howardâs mother was sitting in the living room, holding Cindyâs hand and saying, âCindy, donât mindher. Once you give birth to the Smith familyâs eldest grandson, Iâll make sure youâre brought into thefamily! If she doesnât want to divorce then, we can just treat
her as a free maid in the house! She can look after You have no idea. Her cooking is so delicious!â
Cindy smiled. âAuntie, my cooking is delicious too.
you.
?
Maybe today Iâll show you.â
No sooner had she finished speaking, she deliberately covered her mouth and pretended to gag.
Howardâs mother immediately said, âDonât even think about it. Youâre pregnant now, so how can you gointo the kitchen? Let Keera do it. What do you want to
eat?â
Cindy looked toward Keera, who was tidying up the coffee table, and smiled. âI feel like eating fish. Itâsjust that fish takes a bit of effort to prepareâ¦â
Keira hadnât expected that Howard would actually come home that evening. He had brought Cindy with
him!
â¦Their shamelessness was beyond her imagination!
Howardâs mother had already yelled at Keira. âDid you hear that? Go make the fish already!â
