After she sent Howard and his mother away, Keira calmed down a lot.
She looked at Lewis, feeling somewhat of a headache.
The hug just now had nearly revealed her identity⦠Now, even if she denied it, Lewis wouldnât believeher.
But what if she admitted it?
They still couldnât be togetherâ¦
As she was deep in thought, Maryâs voice came from outside. âKeera, Keera! Iâm here to keep youcompany!â
With those words, Mary burst energetically through
the door.
Upon seeing Lewis, she was momentarily taken aback âWhoâs this?â
Her gaze fixated on his face, examining it for a long time before she finally spoke with confusion. âYoulook⦠so familiar?â
Seeing this, Keira quickly said, âMr. Horton, if you
have w other matters, you can leave now. Mary
donât
and I have things to discuss.â
Mary is from the Davis family!
Lewisâs biological mother was also from the Davis family; she should be Maryâs paternal aunt!
Lewis didnât resemble the other Hortons much, so he
probably took after his mother⦠That was why Mary thought he looked familiar.
Lewis, upon seeing a member of the Davis family, indeed calmed down. He clenched his jaw, stayedsilent for a long while, and eventually said, âKeira, I donât know what youâre up to, but Iâll come back foryou.â
Leaving these words behind, he strode away with his assistants and bodyguards in tow.
After everyone had left, Mary teased Keira with a win âKeera, who was that guy? Is he interested inyou? But he sure pronounces your name strangelyâ¦â
Of course, it was strange.
He was calling her Keira, not Keera.
Keira complained inwardly and asked, âWhat are you
here for?â
Mary grabbed her hand. âDidnât you just get divorced? Tonight, Iâm taking you to a fun place tocelebrate!â
Keira felt a warmth in her heart.
She knew Mary was afraid Keera would be upsetâ¦
She laughed. âThat wonât be necessary. I still have to look after Amy.â
But Amy came over, took Keiraâs hand, and said understandingly, âMommy, you go have fun with Mary.Iâll be fine with Ruth!â
Mary, however, bent down and picked her up. âHow could I leave you behind? The place weâre going totonight is also suitable for Amy. Letâs go, your godmother will take you to have some fun!â
Holding Amy, she headed out, leaving Keira with no choice but to follow behind.
Soon, Keira realized that Mary had brought her to an indoor amusement park.
This amusement park wasnât only suitable for children, but also for adults their age.
Mary laughed. âWhen we were little, we often came
here to play. We said that when we had kids, weâd

bring them here too. Keera, Iâve wanted to bring Amy here for so long, but she was too young at firstand
later onâ¦â
Later, they had lost contact and never had the chance.
Keira lowered her eyes. âMary, Iâm sorry.â
She believed if her sister. were still alive, she would have said the same thing to Mary.
Mary waved it off. âHey, why say such things? Amy, come on, Iâll take you to play in the ball pit!â
âYay! Thatâs awesome!â
The ball pit was huge and filled with all sorts of colorful balls. There were slides to go down from above.Mary took Amy down the slide in her arms
They were afraid that Amy was too young and wou be scared to slide, but they hadnât expected the littone to fall in love with the activity and even want to down by herself.
Mary and Keira exchanged a glance and smiled, then let Amy slide down on her own.
There was only one passage, so Mary slid down first.
She made an exaggerated gesture and shouted loudly; after sliding down, she got buried in the oceanof balls, yelling, âAmy, come find your godmother!â
Amy giggled and slid down, then started moving the balls aside next to Mary, trying to pull her out.
Keira watched and couldnât help but laughâ¦
As Amy was moving the balls aside, suddenly a chubby five-year-old boy threw a ball at her.
The balls were soft rubber, so even if they hit someone, it wouldnât hurt. Besides, everyone wasthrowing them around in the ball pit, so Amy thought the little chubby boy was just playing with her.
Amy, being good-natured, picked up a ball and to it back gently, hitting the little chubby boyâs arm.
But the chubby boy erupted in anger. âWhy did yo
throw it at me!â
Amy was startled by his shouting and said timidly, âSo-sorry⦠I thought you were playing with meâ¦â
Before she could finish, the little boy burst into tears, crying out, âMommy, she hit me with the ball!â
Keira sensed something was wrong and immediately
rushed down, with Mary also emerging from the sea of
balls.
But both their reactions werenât fast enoughâ¦
At that moment, a woman dressed extravagantly suddenly rushed over and slapped her across theface, then pushed Amy forcefully!
The push was so powerful that Amy almost flew off the ground. She slammed hard into the sea of balls!
The tiny Amy was instantly terrified and began flailing her arms in the balls, crying out loudly.
Keira and Mary almost reached Amy at the same time. They scooped her out of the balls, and Keirahurriedly embraced the little one.
Even though Amy wasnât her daughter, over the past month they had spent all their time together, andAm shared a mysterious blood connection with her as if she was her only relative in this world.
Keira felt tremendous affection for her.
At that moment, she quickly tried to calm her. âAmy, good girl, donât cry, donât cry⦠Mommyâs hereâ¦â
Amy was used to being mistreated by Howardâs

mother at home and hadnât been hit or scolded for a
month, so though she was initially frightened, she stopped crying when she heard âdonât cryâ andclamped her mouth shut, hiccupping a sob.
Keiraâs heart ached at the sight.
Mary was staring at the aggressive woman. âWhat are you doing!â
The woman who had pushed was just comforting the chubby boy, and when she heard Mary, sheturned around and sneered. âThatâs the question I should be asking you, isnât it? Someone get themanager here! I want to know, what should be done about this little girl throwing a ball at my sonwithout any reason!â
Her attitude was extremely haughty as she point Amy and scolded. âWhat kind of riff-raff are you? dareyou come here to play? You have no family discipline at all! Who gave you the right to throw a at myson? Do you even know who we are?!â
Upon hearing this, someone immediately whispered a warning.
âSheâs Miss Olsen, the niece from the Olsen Group!â
âWhat? So itâs her no wonder sheâs so arrogant⦠The
Olsen Groupâs families have always wished for a daughter but never had one, thatâs why they broughtin this distant niece to be raised in the main branch, pampered from a young age⦠And her brothersare not to be messed with, especially Mr. Ellis, whoâs known as a real-life demon!â
âYou better apologize quickly; otherwise, this wonât end well!â
Upon hearing this, Mary was furious, âNo matter who you are, this is a matter between children, and itâsnot right for an adult to lay hands on them so casually!â
The woman scoffed. âSo what if I hit her? What are you going to do about it?â
âYou!â
Mary was so angry her face turned iron blue. T moment, Keira patted her on the shoulder.
She turned around to see the usually timid Keera, yet terrifying at that moment.
Keira handed Amy to Mary with a voice that seemed different than usual, sinister somehow, âHold Amyfor
me.â
Mary was slightly stunned, not understanding her intention, but subconsciously took Amy.
Then, her eyes widened in shock!!
