âY-you scared me!â Leona exclaimed, clutching her chest in relief. Latina stood beside her, wearing her now spotless nun's habit, with her usual calm expression.
âIs everything okay now?
âHas it all been resolved?
The voices of the demon lord and the goddess echoed in unison from the holy sword. They must have been anxious to know how things had ended, especially since they had tactfully withdrawn earlier, sensing the strange atmosphere.
It made senseâthey must have been curious, especially considering that Aria, whom they thought was dead, had reappeared in a completely different form, seemingly connected to them.
"Yes, itâs all okay now. Everythingâs been resolved, though explaining what happened might get a bit complicated," I said.
"You're mistaken, Savior. It will be very complicated," Latina corrected me with a playful smile.@@novelbin@@
"Well, complicated or very complicatedâwhat's the difference?" I shrugged.
âThere is indeed a difference.
âA significant one, agreed the goddess and demon lord, their voices filled with interest. Leona, perhaps having picked up on something from their conversation, looked at Latina with a mixture of wariness and lingering affection.
"Hey, Mira⦠what happened to Aria? The one who was inside the nun? Is she dead?" Leona asked, hesitantly.
