There were certainly ways to handle the situation without selecting just one person. After all, it wasn't as if I could only visit my parents that one day; there would be plenty of chances later.
We could use disguise magic to make appearances identical, or leverage the Thousand Changes necklace crafted by Grand Magus Valera, or even borrow Ioâs artifact. If things got more extreme, we could even call on the powers of the Celestial or the Demon God. They had reversed a humanâs age by decades before, so altering appearances would be a trivial feat.
But it seemed my girlfriends didnât see it that way.
