Ruhanika pov :-
I groaned and open my eyes only to feel my back and stomach and lower body paining badly .. it doesn't look me a minute to realise that my monthly dates are here ..I rub my hairs frustratedly..and look at side to see the bed empty. My gaze went to clock it's 7 am .. where is he ?
I get up only to see a note at study table..
"I have some urgent work at office so
I have to leave early. You were sleeping so i didn't wake you up . Don't left for college without breakfast "
Ekansh
I put the note at side table and went to washroom while clutching the belly... I prefer to stay unconscious rather than experiencing these cramps pain cause my monthly days symptoms are weird too I feel nausea ..weird right. I come out after taking bath and sat on bed .
The door open revealing Rohan ..
" Hey bhab's ..you didn't come downstairs for breakfast and I am waiting for you to take you to college .. what happened?? "
He asked seeing my drained yet pale face ...
" Just give me coffee please..i don't want eat anything " I said putting my books in the bag ..
Rohan come forward and put his palm on my forehead...
" You don't have fever then why are you looking so -
" I am fine just bring me coffee PLEASE" I said highlighting the word please
" Ok i got it you are on your periods right?? " Rohan said
" You don't need to highlight it " i replied and about to get up
" Where are you going? " Rohan said making me sit again
" To bring coffee since you are not giving me " i replied sarcastically
" Naaa Naa you will get bed coffee stay here " he said and run downstairs
Unknowingly a chuckle escaped ..there was a time when I was just struggling to get my breakfast during these days ..but here a bed coffee...
Not so soon Rohan entered in room with a tray . Placing the coffee mug near the cabinet and a bowl of chocolate cookies...
" I know you don't like much sweets but this is dark chocolate And its good.." Rohan said
" How do you know that much when you are single -
" All credit goes to dad .. when our mom was on her monthly days we saw dad taking care of her and pampering her ... And I also saw ekansh Bhai taking care of Ishita bhabhi.. " he said
" Are you going to college? "Â Rohan asked
" Yes I am coming to college .." i replied finishing the coffee....
Soon we went to college and i went to classes but all i could do is just head down ... I thought coming to college will be a distraction but it's getting worst..I open my bag and took a painkiller and gulp it with water ...
But the pain was getting worse still ..
Ekansh pov :-
After the meeting i entered the cabin and massaged my head since last night I am feeling feverish... I take out thermometer and check the temperature and it showed 103 .
Author pov :-
Ruhanika was sitting in cafeteria with shivangi and not so soon Rohan entered
" I think you should go home " rohan said
" He is right Ruhanika..go home and take rest -
" I don't want to -
" You both are stubborn Ekansh Bhai has fever since Last night still he -
" He has fever still he went to office..
" He is going at home to rest " Rohan lied .
" I think i should go home too.. I will get rest and he also need someone to be with him " Ruhanika said taking the bag ...
Rohan called ekansh
" Bhai i think you should go home and rest you have fever "
" I am fine..my meeting is already finished. I will rest in my cabin as i have little work to-
" You both are stubborn made for eachother. "
" What do you mean ?? " Ekansh asked
" Ruhanika is on her monthly days and her camps are keep getting worse even after taking medicine..after lot of struggle we send her home . I think now shivangi has to be with her though we still have classes -
" You guys don't have to miss classes I am going home I will rest and also she needs someone to be with her .. so we will manage" ekansh said and hung up the call .
" You are literally so witty.." Shivangi said
" Say something which i don't know " Rohan said taking sandwich from her plate ...
" Excuse me shivangi " A boy come there and called shivangi making Rohan frown his eyebrows.
" Ohh hi lakshay ... How was your vacation? " Shivangi said
" It was good..but i missed you . " Lakshay said rubbing his back of neck shyly making Rohan roll his eyes .
" Shivangi actually I need help with assignments and complete the absent work -
" We are not in school dude . We are in college can you stop talking like a school boy .." Rohan said glaring at him
" Rohan why are you being rude ? ..leave him lakshay i will help you . Let's meet at Library after classes" Shivangi said making him smile .
" Stay away from him " Rohan said seriously
" Why should I ? " Shivangi argued
" His intention are not good " Rohan replied with a tint of jealousy
" And how are you so sure about it ? " Shivangi asked
" Coz I am also a man . And I can see he likes you "Rohan said frustratedly
" So what's bad in that ? It's my age to date if he likes me its good for me " Shivangi said
" Exactly he likes you but he doesn't love you . And love is different from like " Rohan said
" Liking someone is the first stage of love " Shivangi said taking her bag and leave from there leaving Rohan Frustrated behind.
" Bullishit " Rohan Frustratedly slam table making near by people flinch and also leave .
Ruhanika pov :-
I was about to enter in home but my phone went off its ekansh
" Where are you? " His hoarse voice made my stomach churn ..
" Behind you .." i said entering living room...
He hung up the call .. I went near him and put my palm on his forehead and yes he is burning with fever
" You have high fever .. " I said glaring at him . At this point i am so worried that even the pain of cramps which were killing me before a second is nowhere to be found.
Ekansh pov :-
Her those golden brown honey eyes were glaring at me ..her wet eyelashes clearly shows how she was bearing the pain of cramps but now look at her standing infront of me like nothing happened to her . How badly i want her to share her pain with me .
Why are you so desperate to share her pain ? Why does it effect you so much
My inner soul enquired...
"Go to our room and lay down ..i am coming in a while " She ordered ..i agreed and went to change my clothes into something comfortable
Ruhanika pov:-
I took a glass of water and take out paracetamol tablet and went to our room to see him already changed into something comfortable.here take this medicine. I said to which he implemented.
" You should rest for a while too " Ekansh said to me
" You are the one who is sick not me and i will take rest just let me make khichdi for us " I said and come downstairs...
I was washing rice not until my cramps make my stomach twist again ..i clutched my stomach and sat down at the breakfast table not until i heard footsteps coming downstairs. I turn and saw ekansh coming downstairs...
" What are you doing here ? You should rest " I said as he took a bowl of rice and drain the water ..
" I can't expect a sick person to take care of me " he replied as he cough a bit
" I am not sick I am just having cramps ..." I said as somehow I went near him and try to stop him but he didn't listened and added some spices and close the pressure cooker ...
" It's done now we have to wait until it cooked perfectly,we can rest now .. go in our room " he said and i agree to it coz my cramps are genuinely getting worse ...
I sit on bed and curled myself...
Ekansh pov:-
I enter in Room with a hot water bag . Only to see her curled on bed ...
I also went to bed and pull her from waist and place the hot water bag...
Ruhanika pov :-
I was just waiting for cramps to get subsidised... Not until I felt weight on bed other side i know who it is . I feel a sudden pull making my back collapsed with a hard chest ... I feel a sudden warmth at my stomach and i saw hot water bag ...I look back only to get lost in a pair of eyes which was showing only concern and warmth ...
" Where else it's paining? " he asked looking deep into my eyes .
" Everywhere.." I said as a lone tear leave my eyes . I was not referring to the physical pain or cramps which he understood
" Give me a chance to cure it .." he said wiping the like tear making me come out of my emotional zone made me realise if I stay one second near him I will melt....
" Some things are not meant to cured..." I said maintaining the gap between us .
There was silence for few minutes..i turn and saw him sleeping.. I put my palm on his forehead. His temprature subsidised ..I sigh and turn again and slept .
Ekansh pov:-
As she turned i open my eyes unknowingly a small smile appear on my face ... I wrap my arms around her stomach just to gave her some massage... She didn't told me where it's paining but i remember when Ishita used to have cramps..her stomach, back and feet were the areas which pained a lot ...
I went downstairs turned off the gas and took some oil and come upstairs and massaged her feet softly... I am amazed even being a sensitive sleeper she didn't wake up till now . Not until my gaze caught the painkiller on nightstand made me realise may be it's cause of the effect of painkiller.. after that I pull her top a little and massaged her back with lukewarm oil .... And refilling the hot water bag I put it on her stomach and slept while massaging her stomach softly....
Rohan pov :-
In afternoon I come home with ruhi as i picked her from school..she immediately run to Ekansh and Ruhanika room after knowing they are not well ... As i went behind her i witnessed a heart melting sight ... They both were slept while cuddling eachother... Ruhi was about to call them but i shushed her and took my phone and capture the moment...and took ruhi out...
" I want to take care of them as they do when I am sick " ruhi said
" Baby they are resting now after they will wake up you can take care of them ok.. let's have lunch?? " Rohan said picking her up ..
" They made khichdi " ruhi said making sad face
" How about a pizza.? " Rohan asked ruhi making her smile ..
" But we will keep it a secret " Rohan said making ruhi nod her head ...
Third person pov :-
" I am back now and this time I will take what's mine "....
