"Ouch!" I rubbed my elbow. While hurrying to get to the bathroom, I hit my arm on the door.
I was panicking because my hair was still a mess and Leo was picking up in twenty minutes. Looking at the mirror, I scowled at the sight.
I probably shouldn't have gone to sleep with damp hair, now it looks like a bird's nest. Anyway I'm gonna have do something with it, right?
Without thinking too much, I decided that I was going to put it in a messy bun. And so I did that and let my curtain bangs fall down, framing my face.
I retouched my make up. I did a light smokey eye, that thankfully ended up good and I didn't look like a panda. I also decided to be bold and painted my lips in a deep red colour.
The dress was black and tight fitting. It reached mid thigh and it had heart shaped neck line. The sleeves were long and made from a sheer material.
Because I didn't have many heels, I settled on the black with laces that went up my legs.
"Lexi stop with that!" I saw her chewing the beauty blender. Almost all of my makeup products were either broken or chewed, since Lexi had some type of addiction to them.
She always ruins them.
I picked her up and took her to the living room. "Here baby, stay right there. Okay?" Meowing she looked at me with pleading eyes.
"Okay, okay." I lowered myself and gave her a kiss. "You and Leo are the same, you know that?"
After leaving Lexi on the sofa, I picked up the small bag that I always carry when I go out and put my essentials inside.
I took a quick picture and send it to Evelin. She couldn't be here to help me because, her and Rowan went to his parents house, since his father had a birthday.
Me: Do i look good?
I messaged her.
I grabbed my coat and waited for Evelin's text and also for Leo's call.
My phone vibrated. It was Evelin.
Eve: All I got to say is Mr. Hyde is going to pass out when he sees you.

I let out a laugh at her text. I took another look at myself in the mirror and put on my coat.
Leo never told me where this date would be so I was hoping that I won't freeze in the dress. But I guess we won't be outside since he said I should wear a dress.
After few minutes I got his call, he was waiting outside.
I closed the door behind me and headed down the stairs. I got out of the building and the cold air kissed my skin.
Leo was leaning against his car, dressed in all black suit with a coat on. His hair was slicked back and he had flowers in his hands. When I got closer I noticed that they were pink tulips, my favourite.
"Hey baby. You look beautiful." He said and handed me the bouquet. "Thank you." I blushed and kissed his cheek. I was wrapped with the coat so he didn't even see the dress yet.
"Let's go. It's cold, I don't want you to get sick." He opened the door of the car for me. After he got in his seat, we drove off.
The ride was about twenty minutes and we stopped in front of a tall building, more like a skyscraper.
We got out and started walking towards the entrance. In the elevator Leo pressed on the button that said T.
When the door opened I realised that we were on the top floor. Leo placed his hand on the small of my back and guided me outside.
My mouth shaped and 'O' when I looked in front me.
We were on a terrace that was covered in glass. There were fairly lights everywhere and in the middle was a small table. It had couple of candles and a vase with flowers.
It looked magical. Straight out of a fairytale.
"Oh my God. This is soo beautiful." I spun around and wrapped my hands around him. He hugged me back and placed a kiss on my temple.
We went to the table and Leo started taking of my coat. I looked at him and his eyes roamed over my figure.
I did a turn. "How do I look?" He opened his mouth but not a single word came out.
Before I could register what was happening, he grabbed my face and smashed his lips on mine.
The kiss was brutal and dominating. His tongue ran over my lips and tasted every whimper that left my mouth.
He leaned his forehead on mine and took a deep breath. "I don't know what I did to deserve you." We stayed like that for a for a few seconds and then pulled away. There was red smeared on his lips from my lipstick. I wiped it with my thumb and we went to our seats.
"You look breathtaking, Zaria. I've never seen anyone more beautiful than you." My cheeks burned and I grinned not knowing what to respond.
"Thank you, Leo." I finally said.
A waiter arrived on the terrace and brought us drinks.
"This is amazing." I gestured around us. "I really love it. Thank you."
"Anything for you." His intense gaze made me shiver.
Thankfully it was not cold since the rooftop was covered with glass. Still the city was visible from where we were sitting. It reminded on the view from his penthouse.
"I've been thinking to tell my parents about us. Maybe... if you want, you can meet them." I played with the butterfly ring on my finger. Waiting for his answer.
"If you want, Zaria I'll do it. And also I'll love to meet your parents." He gave me reassuring grin. "Should I be worried about meeting them?" He jokingly asked.
I laughed. "No, but you should be worried about my grandpa. He's going to grill you." My grandpa was very protective of me. I never introduced any of my exes to him but I know he'll ask every single question to Leo.
He already knew about my boss, but I don't know how will he react to us being together.
"Good to know." Leo cleared his throat.
"He's just very protective of me. But you'll see he is the best, nicest person you'll meet."
"You have a good relationship with him?" He asked, taking a sip of his drink.
"Yes, he's like my best friend. He's always there for me. Supports me in every decision I make. Since I was little, he would spoil me and buy me everything I wanted.
We would always get together and have a tea night, talk and gossip about our family." Smile formed on my lips remembering of the best moments I have with him.
"His and grandma's marriage has always been what I wanted for myself as well. They met in high school and grandpa swears that it was love at first sight. He still buys her flowers and sweets whenever he goes out."
"They sound like wonderful people." And they were.
The waiter came back again and served us our food. It smelled delicious.
We ate our dinner and talked about our families.
"I want you to be mine, Zaria in every way. I always want you to know how much you mean to me." There was a soft look in his eyes.
"You still haven't asked me to be your girlfriend." I smirked and tried to joke. Even though I was sure about his feelings and mine, I still tried to tease him.
"I don't want you to be just my girlfriend. I want you to be my everything. If you want to be my girlfriend, please be. If you want to be my fiancé, I'll propose to you right now. If you want to be my wife, I'll marry you tomorrow, it will be the first thing I do. I just want it with you baby. And I your heart, because you already have mine. You took it a long time ago."
I was speechless and didn't know what to say. He always said stuff that swelled my heart.
"I want you too, Leo. In every possible way." He took my hand and placed a kiss on the back of it.
"You have me, baby. I'm all yours."
After the waiter picked up the plates, I stood up and went to the glass to have a better view of the city.
Leo came behind me and circled his hands around my waist and leaned his chin on my shoulder.
"You mean so much to me. I don't know where I would have been, if we never got together." He whispered in my ear.
I leaned my head back and intertwined our fingers together.
We enjoyed the view, holding each other. My heart was at peace knowing he was here, with me. I never knew how strong my feelings would grow for him.
It was like the last piece of the puzzle was set in its place.
"Turn around." He said.
I did and he cupped my face. There was so much emotions in his eyes, it overwhelmed me.
"I love you, Zaria." He confessed. My mouth opened in shock. I didn't expect for him to say the words.
Tears started to well up in my eyes. I've never had a man say those words to me in a romantic way. He said it with so much passion and adoration.
"Hey please don't cry, baby." He wiped my tears with his thumb and kissed my cheeks, my nose, my forehead and then my lips.
His lips were warm and soft and slowly calmed me down.
"I love you Leo." I finally said the words to him.
A small cry left his mouth and he hugged me tightly to his body. Crushing me with his arms and burying his face in my neck.
"I love you, I love you soo much. So much baby." At this moment I was the happiest person in the world.
My heart was beating like crazy and the tears started to fall down my face again.
We stayed wrapped around each other for a while. Leo repeated the words over and over and told me how much I mean to him.
When he pulled away, he placed his lips on mine and smirked.
"You're coming to my apartment tonight." My blush deepened and I nodded.

Also Aimee's grandpa is based of off mine. He was like my best friend and i miss him everyday.â¹ï¸ He sadly passed away couple of months ago but he'll always stay in my heartð
