Joslyn's pov
With caution, I said, "Hi... How did you get my number"
I could feel a smirk as he talked, "I got it from Sydney" God damm it Sydney. With that I immediately ended the phone call and went to text Sydney.
Well at least I have something against him, I smirked at the thought. After texting her, I received the call from the same number.

Picking it up, again the same voice spoke. "Hey. Why did you hang up on me?"
Me being me, I just skipped his question and decided to tease him a little.
"I heard from a little birdy that you pestered my dear friend to get my number" I mocked him.
"No-no! Why would I do that?" He tried defending himself but I just can't seem to hold back my laughter as I bursted out into fits of laughter, tears threatening to fall.
"Heyy!" He whined like a little kid. "Anyways" He spoke back in his normal voice. "I called you as I could like to know if you would like a contract so that we would cater your food to other weddings?"
"Sure, but I got to discuss. How about we hold a meeting? Your's or mine?" I replied in my business tone.
"Hmm mine since the contact and what not would be with me. Plus, you get to see our office" Jerome suggested as we finalized on the details. Before I went to disturb my siblings, I texted Cindy about tomorrow's meeting and off I went.
"Alden!" I called for him in a sing song voice. Seeing there was no response, I just texted him. Simpler and efficient.
I just left him on seen and waited. Now come to think of it, it's sounds like you are pregnant, my conscience said. Before I could have a fight with my conscience, I heard footsteps and Alden's footsteps came thundering into my room.
"Hey sis! What's up?" He asked. "The sky!" Yes it was an overused joke but I like it. Don't attack me.
He rolled his eyes at me and I became serious. "Remember Jerome?" He nodded to which I responded, "He wants us to sign a contract so whenever we have weddings, they will cater all the food. They are planning to meet tomorrow"
"Sure, but why ask me. I'm just there to learn how business works and what not" Alden explained but I just ruffled his hair and hugged me. "I believe that you are equally as important" I responded as he smiled at me.
"Let us go and annoy our siblings" I suggested as we head over to the living room to see Gavin lying on the sofa, feeling stuffed as he watched the television programs.
"Let's scare him" Alden whispered into my ear as I nodded. Three, two, one. I counted mentally in my head while I held up the numbers at the same time. "Boooo!" Both of us yelled simultaneously. His face went from relaxed to shock as he jumped in shock. Seeing it was us, he huffed and puffed his chest. Hmm, sounds familiar. Oh wait, the three little pigs.
After that little stunt we did, I checked my phone and realized I had a client that would want her wedding planned by us so I excused myself and focused on setting everything up. We would be meeting tomorrow to discuss.
Monday
Today was back to work for Alden and I while the rest had to go to school. Each of them were attending school. Gavin was in his first year of high school, a freshman while Weston was now a junior and Bethany was now in college, majoring in fashion designing.
I dressed myself up in a simple brown top with a similar shade of brown for the belt and white flowy pants and topped it off with some black heels. It was classy yet simple.
I first dropped Gavin and Weston off to school and then Bethany at her college. Thankfully, their schools were not too far from my office so I could reach there on time.
Today I had a couple things to do, first being the meeting with Jerome, then I will be meeting up to discuss the wedding plans with Mr and Mrs soon to be Kayes. After that, I had to check up on everyone and lastly the money management here.
The meeting with Jerome was scheduled at 10am and I needed time to reach there so after settling everything down, I left along with Cindy and Alden.

"Hi welcome to Turner Corporation! How may I help you today" A lady clad in business attire asked.
"Meeting with Jerome Turner. Joslyn James" I said as she checked the computer records. "Room 201, take the lift and head to level 2" She explained as I said my thanks to her.
Walking to the lift, I saw how everyone looked so sophisticated and professional. The structure of the entire building was also grand.
Ding! The bright red numbers flashed- 2 and the automated sounds said "second floor".
"Come on, let's go!" I said to no one in particular, trying to comfort them from their nervousness.
"Hello!" Jerome greeted me as I reached the meeting room to see his father and siblings.
"Hi" We all said in unison as we sat down on the chairs.
We began spending the next hour and a half discussing and we managed to come to a agreement. "Alright. Thank you!" I said as we left the building and back to our place as we would meeting Mr and Mrs Kayes later at 1pm.
Later on, a few of my employees, but I like to call them friends, would be heading over to different locations for the weddings that are happening.
What they did was usually to help assist in weddings, making sure everything was great. Sometimes they also join the meeting with clients and help plan their weddings too, depending on the situation.
Most of the time when they are experienced, I pass some clients to them for them to plan out.
That's why I think it's weird for them to call me boss since we literally do the same thing, I just do a little more than them.
"Hey Ms daydream" A familiar voice of Cindy broke my thoughts and I looked at the time. 12pm. Just in time.
"Cindy, get everyone to go for lunch first and come back in an hour or so" I told her as she nodded. "And Cindy you can leave too"
"Hello Mr Kayes and Ms Rain. Welcome to Roses Galore" I greeted them, leading them to my meeting room for clients but not before getting them snacks and bottled water for them.
"So, let's get started with the planning. First of, let's start with the theme/vibe you want to go for. A church kind, by the sea, flowery, anything" Explaining to them, I talked to them about the different things. They were wonderful clients to work with. Very simple and not very problematic.
"Next session we would be planning your honeymoon destination, the food and clothing on the day itself. How about next Friday at 11am?" They nodded, exchanged greetings and I led them to the door before slumping back onto my chair.
Knock! There was a knock and Cindy came holding a bag of McDonald's! My favorite. My stomach growled at the sight of it as I made grabby hands for it. I know I look like a kid but when it comes to food, I can turn into anything. And I mean anything.
"I'll be nice" Cindy sighed, placing the food on my desk. Smiling, I then prepared my food. A fillet-o-fish burger with fries on the side and green tea. The aroma of the burgers and fries wafted through the air.
I loved the chili sauce at Mcdonald's and was happily dipping my fries into it when I heard a knock which started me, making my drink topple" Must be Sydney, I thought. She is the only one who comes at this timings.
"Lady help me get napkins!! I spilled my drink " I shouted threw the door. "Oh ya and come in" I was expecting to Sydney but guess what? Well I think you can guess. I mean it's the same person- Jerome.
Dammit dammit dammit dammit. Shit shit shit shit!!! I panicked in my mind. I definitely did not look classy. For gods sake I was eating really lady like. NOT.
"Nice shirt" Jerome said, chuckling. Looking at my shirt, I saw it contaminated with my drink.
Damm it. Why is my luck so bad :(
