“Kaiden?”

Evelina was embarrassed when Kaiden, who she thought will not come, appeared. He said he would be late in 30 minutes, yet only less than 20 minutes have passed.

Kaiden stroked Evelina’s collarbone. The gloves he took off wiped off her neck, collarbone, and shoulder. Then all her skin-like cosmetics were buried in his gloves, revealing the original skin color.

It was strangely similar to Kaiden’s voice.

So Evelina quickly erased her embarrassment and pretended to enjoy the tea party.

Evelina was excited to meet her adoptive mother after the tea party. But so was the notification she received.

“I heard so. She said she would not be able to enter the palace for a few days because it was contagious.”

Evelina lowered her gaze, pretending to be disappointed.
