Holiday in Italy
It was a summer night
I made some friends,
Had fun and stuff
'Till you came in my sight
My feet feelt sandy beach
My eyes looked to my right.
My heart beat fast as you approached
And my mind took flight.
Your hair a bit curly and dark as the night
I felt a cold breeze on my skin
And your smile completely enchanted me
More than I'd ever been
You talked to me and said your name
I told you mine as well
But after looking in your eyes
I'll never be the same
Your eyes like chocolate were, so brown
I admired the rest of the night
I felt like I was gonna drown
My heart, it felt so right
We talked and shared some wine
And then you touched my hand.
The moment felt so right
As if it was planned.
Some others already had left
We still stayed there till midnight
In front of us were crashing waves
Above us silver moon light
I had to go, I told you all
I felt so fucking small
When you stood up and walked me home
You are so very tall
We walked and talked alone
Our eyes locked in a trance.
Your embrace was so warm
My heart begann to dance.
We stood there, it felt like eternity
And when I looked in your eyes
They looked so deeply back into mine

You hugged me then, I hugged you back
And didn't wanna let go
You held me tight

It was the perfect night
Your hands so warm and strong but soft
So tight they held my waist

You had the opportunity
Which both of us did miss
We stayed in a hug for some minutes longer
Still not wanting to let go
Even your scent was perfect,
Your movements so careful and slow
But then I had to leave you
I had to go inside

Before vanishing back into the night
The memory of that night
Will always stay with me

I think about you sometimes
And wonder where you are
