With 9:48 left in the first period, Christian Horn scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 1-0 St. Lawrence. With 5:17 left in the first period, Woody Hudson scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 2-0 Saints. The aforementioned Kyle Hayton and Charles Grant matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-0 Saints it remains heading to the second period. With 7 seconds left in the second period, Rick Pinskton scored to make it 2-1 SLU. Hayton and Grant matched zeros for the remainder of the period so St. Lawrence clings to a 2-1 lead heading to the second intermission. With 17:14 left in the third period, Woody Hudson scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 3-1 Saints. With 9:32 left in the third period, Joe Sullivan scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 4-1 Skating Saints. With 8:26 left in the third period, Rick Pinkston scored to make it 4-2 SLU. With 7:54 left in the third period, Tommy Thompson scored his ninth goal of the season to make it 5-2 St. Lawrence. With 1:13 left in the third period, Nick Bligh scored to make it 5-3 Saints.
