After Kyle Hayton shined bright like a diamond once again last night, the St. Lawrence Saints return to play their final home game of the regular season as they play the Dartmouth College Big Green as St. Lawrence hopes to secure their seeding in the ECAC Hockey tournament. With 9:48 left in the first period, Christian Horn scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 1-0 St. Lawrence. With 5:17 left in the first period, Woody Hudson scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 2-0 Saints. The aforementioned Kyle Hayton and Charles Grant matched zeros for the remainder of the period so 2-0 Saints it remains heading to the second period. With 7 seconds left in the second period, Rick Pinskton scored to make it 2-1 SLU. Hayton and Grant matched zeros for the remainder of the period so St. Lawrence clings to a 2-1 lead heading to the second intermission. With 17:14 left in the third period, Woody Hudson scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 3-1 Saints. With 9:32 left in the third period, Joe Sullivan scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 4-1 Skating Saints. With 8:26 left in the third period, Rick Pinkston scored to make it 4-2 SLU. With 7:54 left in the third period, Tommy Thompson scored his ninth goal of the season to make it 5-2 St. Lawrence. With 1:13 left in the third period, Nick Bligh scored to make it 5-3 Saints. With 52 seconds left in the third period, Mike Marnell scored his eighth goal of the season into an empty net to make it 6-3 Larrys! Kyle Hayton finished off the Big Green and St. Lawrence concludes the home schedule with a 6-3 win! St. Lawrence improved to 18-11-3 on the season and 14-5-1 in ECAC Hockey play!
