Chapter 103
MOMMY SUPER COOL NOVEL
Chapter 103 I Want to Recommend you a Wife
South shot him a glare. âDid you think Iâd leave with just anyone?â he asked coldly. Inexplicably choked by this child, Silas dissolved into laughter. âIt seems that you consider me safe?â âOf course!â South replied. Silas was instantly put in a good mood. âHah, your judgment is impeccable! So, why did you ask me out?â Without answering his question, South pointed at KFC that was right ahead of them. âI want to eat KFC!â Silas glanced at him but said nothing. Then, he turned his car and stopped before KFCâs entrance. After entering the fast-food joint, South ordered a few items Gianna usually didnât allow him to eat before finding a table and waiting for Silas. Meanwhile, this was the first time Silas had ever queued in line. There were quite a number of patrons in KFC, so he only carried the food over to the table after having waited for about ten minutes.
South then kept his head lowered as he quietly ate without saying a single word. On the other hand, Silas didnât eat since he wasnât hungry. Mainly, he was curious as to why this little fellow wanted to see him. After waiting for more than ten minutes, the little fellow was finally done eating, and he wiped his hands clean with a napkin. At long last, he shifted his gaze to Silas. âWhoâs the lady at Nolan Residence yesterday to you?â he asked seriously, his expression solemn. Silasâs brows furrowed. âYou mean, Zoe? Sheâs no one to me. Her family and the Nolan Family are friends, so weâve known each other since young.â âDo you have feelings for her?â Silas frowned. âWhy would I have feelings for her?â
South shot daggers at him. âThen, why did you allow her to hold your arm?â Staring at him, Silas was gripped by the urge to laugh. âYou were angry at me just because of this?â South didnât deny or confirm it, so Silas then explained, âSheâs no different from Landon to me.â South curled his lips. âTheyâre absolutely different. Landon is a man.â âBut thereâs no difference to me,â Silas countered. After pondering for a moment, South asked, âSo, how do you find my mommy?â
All of a sudden, understanding dawned upon Silas. Donât tell me this little fellow is so peeved because he wants to play matchmaker between me and his mommy? As this thought crossed his mind, he couldnât quite stifle his laughter. âYour mommy is quite good.â âIn what way?â The corners of Silasâs mouth curved into a mischievous arc. âLittle fellow, what are you trying to do?â South gazed at him with a disdainful look in his eyes. âYou still havenât understood? I want to help you get a wife!â Silas doubled over. Are all kids now this precocious? âYou want to recommend your mommy to me?â Southâs dainty eyebrows knitted together deeply, and his voice turned a touch frosty. âDo you not like her?â After mulling it over for a while, Silas answered, âItâs not that I donât like her. I was just somewhat surprised that youâre actually recommending your mommy to be my girlfriend.â Staring at him, South gave an adult-like.sigh. âI want to recommend you a wife, not a girlfriend.â He was worried sick. These two people have known each other for so long, so why isnât there any progress? Theyâre going as slow as a tortoise. If I were to wait for their relationship to blossom naturally, itâll either be my daddy being snatched away by another woman or vice versa. âIf you like my mommy, why arenât you pursuing her?â
Silas cracked up. âLiking someone is a matter of letting nature take its course. Youâre still too young, so you donât understand.â
Throwing him a glance, South retorted frigidly, âI only know that if you delay pursuing my mommy any longer, sheâll be snatched away by someone else!â
Silas froze upon hearing that. âWho else is pursuing your mommy?â
âA man whoâs comparable to you. My mommy even mentioned treating him to a meal. I think heâs a restaurant owner.â Unbidden, Silasâs heart sank a fraction. âDo you like him, too?â Another sigh came from South. âIt doesnât matter whether I like him. I think my mommy likes him quite a bit.â Subsequently, Silas asked, âDo you like me, then?â
