I dropped Pavi and left for office. I feel so unrealistic this time like a dream. I will wake up a second but I know it is real. I feel her . She was looking at me. She touched me.hugged me. Not only this but she also kissed me. I felt her soft lips on my cheek. I saw her widened dark back eyes. It's so dark that there is only slight difference between pupils and ires of her eyes.
It's little shocking that she don't drink at all. When dad introduced her, I just wanted to touch her again so I forward my hand and she shook it. Her hands Damm, it was so small that she couldn't in circled my hand. Her hand completely surrounded by mine. I liked that feeling. I don't know why, but I feel relieved when she blushed a little due to her hand was trapped in mine.
She cares about dad that's why she didn't tell about her injury and my accident. She is caring. Dad adore her, he never behave like that with his other daughters of business partners. This is the first time he introduced me to any girl. He always says when any women entre in men's life she brought best or worest version of you.
She is very shy girl. When I mentioned word marriage, she turned tomato red. I couldn't suppress my laughter seeing her like that. I don't know why I ordered Will to complete her paperwork from University maybe because I get to know what she wanted or the way she has taken my name, or I wanted to give her everything, who knows?
This is first time that any girl didn't try to flirt with me. I thought she will definitely try when we was alone in car. It was different but pleasing encounter. She is so elegant and know how to speak and behave.
There is no need to take permission from my dad to work but she did. She genuinely respect dad not like other women in parties who acts. She is doing her PhD and her topic is also related with plants. Her apartment is full of plants. She even scold Xandar for stepping foot on plant .God, she must like plants a lot.
From tommorow she will be working with me, I mean in same building. I should prepare lab for her, where she can research comfortably. Should I hire more people for her help?. Should I drop and pick her up for office daily? No. She will definitely get scared because of my constant poaking in her life. Take a baby step Jason.
I am going to meet her for dinner tonight. First time I am excited for dinner. I looked up from and I see two faces staring at me manically. I got off guard. Alex and Xandar were sitting in front of my office table and staring at me.
" Are you finished? Or something left to daydream? " Xandar asked making weird face or irritation.
" When you came here? And why are you staring at me manically?" I asked them.
" You bastard, first you nearly got in an accident then dare to hung up on me instead of explaining." Alex lunched at me and swing his hand near my face but I douged. They both are very angry. Alex get angry easily but Xandar keeps it's cool in nearly every situation.
" I am sorry." I need to get them down.
" Answer of your second question is, we got here nearly 20 min earlier and you didn't noticed our presence even after sudden intrution." Xandar told calmly.
" Ohh" I replied.
" Jason, Spill" Alex said.
"Don't dare to lie." Xandar warned me.
" We are going to home for dinner tonight, mom is cooking some special dishes for us." I didn't lie just hide truth.
" What so special in dinner that you are zoned out for 20 min straight." Xandar asked.
" You will find out tonight. Dad is going to introduce someone to you and don't ask anything further." I told them and called Will through intercom. And I heard knock on door.
" Come in Will."
" Sir?"
" Prepare a chemistry lab at suitable area in office building within two days and we want coffee will you arrange it? " I never order Will about coffee and other personal things always requested. He is very loyal to me. He is six seven years younger than me and want to learn from me. He respects me.
" Sure sir, also I have contacted University and told them to prepare the paperwork, it will get done in two hours. " With that he left.
" Which paperwork ? " Alex asked.
" You will found out tonight."
" Is anything you are going to tell us ?" Xandar asked.
" You both know everything thing about me, am I wrong? ." I asked them. They gave me reaction of satisfaction.
" One thing you have hide from us." Xandar said.
" I haven't forgotten Jason. Tell us a name, and without saying divine, enchantress and sirene or any like wise word, just name." Xandar was Damm serious. With small knock a someone entered with coffee , we were busy with with our conversation no one gave attention.
" Haven't it enough that you both got me drunk to get information." I told them , I noticed that women put coffee in front of us.
" Jason, if you like some girl- " before he could speak anything. I intrupted him. I don't want to leak any info to someone. Looking at her I asked.
" who are you? Where is Will? "
" Mr. Knight. I am Clara. Your second assistant. I help Will. " She told me with surprising look like she couldn't believe this.
" Ok, you can go." I told her without looking at her. She left with irritation. Women now a days.
Xandar continued.
" We have all right to know about her Jason."
" it's just physical attraction and I am sure it will worn out in couple of days." I tried to explain them. They didn't say anything just looking at me for moment.
" Why did we need an chemistry lab here in our office? We can always rent out any private lab for this project." Alex asked with big sigh.
" We can keep close eye on progress and also avoid leaking of information. Owen must want this information for his project to get clearance from government." I told them not telling them that to keep Pavi close to me.
"Ok, we will be their at 7.30pm for dinner." Saying this both leave.
I got occupied with my work and meetings, after finishing my all work I left office early because I have to picked up Pavi. I was on lobby and everyone is watching me questionable gaze, maybe because they don't see me leaving office early. Usually I work late.
I drive upto my penthouse and took a bath and wear new fresh pair of cloths. It's nearly time to pickup her so I left . As I got near her apartment building I remember that I don't have an phone number to call her down. So I parked car in parking slot and walked towards elevator.
I called will and asked the flat no of apartment and ring the bell. I am getting impatient to see her. I herd her voice saying coming. It's cute. She opened door. She was wearing a beautiful dress. I never seen her before in western cloths, back in india she always wear a long traditional cloths . She looks beautiful in all kinds of cloths.
Dress wasn't reviling but hugs her curves perfectly. As she opens the door, I got an dazzling smile from her and my heart skipped a beat. She invited me in.
"Oh, Jason. Come in." She said in her soft velvet voice.
" Thanks. You are looking gorgeous. Pavi." I said looking in her eyes.
" Thank you. " She said not looking in my eyes.
As expected her apartment is full of plants. I can see a balcony from hall and it is filled with roses.
" Can you give me a minute?" She asked me.
"Sure, take as much time you require, I will wait here." She nodded and left in her bedroom.
I am looking here and their. I noticed a lots of books also. So, princess like books to read. I thought it will be romance and fantasy kind of books like every girl like to read, but these was books of related to water, plants and water treatment technicallies. She never fail to surprise me. She came from her bedroom with lots of bags in her bag. She was struggling to carry all so I ran towards her and took some of the bags. She said thanks. I smiled at her.
" What's with this stuffs?" I asked curiously.
"Mom send some gifts for all." She said
" There is no need."
" Actually due to weeding hassle and sudden departure helper forget to keep these things in boot. Mom also send for Alex and Xandar. "Â She continued.
" You missed a lot of fun back in India. Indian weedings are super cool. Why you didn't came?" She asked me with her doe eyes. God why she is so cute.
" I attended weeding ceremony. Pavi." Her eyes widened.
" Sorry, I thought like always you will find some excuse." She said then she realize what she said and continued.
" I mean, you must find an most important work here." She try to convince me. Her eyes wandering everywhere except me. Wow she can't even lie properly. She is too navie as dad said.
"Dad told about my working habits?" I asked. She knows about it.
" Yaa, he complaines a lot about that. Don't tell him that I told you this." She requested.
" Sure, let's go." With that we left apartment and got in car. I put all bags in boot and open door for her. She get in with thanks. She is always polite. I would like to know , how she will swear at anyone.
" You like plants a lot, even your research is with plants." I commented.
" Yaa, I love plants. Enough about me tell me what you like except work. " She asked that make me laugh and she joined me too.
" Ok, my most of time goes in office but except work , I like horse riding." I told her.
" But never find time lately right." She completed rest. She is right.
"Yaa " I replied. Looking at her.
"If you like it then why don't you go there. It will relax you, soothe you. Trust me." She said. I got that she is trying to convince me to get some time for me to enjoy.
" alright you successfully convinced me to spend sometime out of my office, My lady." I said in little dramatic way with widest smile on my face.
" Thank you , My Lord." She also joined me. We laughed a lot. We talked a lot about here and there. We didn't realized that we reached in no time.
" We reached." I said. When security opens the gate and we stopped at mansion.
" Your home is beautiful Jason." She said looking at mansion. I said small thank you and we head towards main door.
At door Alex and Xandar are standing and chatting with each other. Why they are standing at door. Before I could say anything Pavi called Xandar.
" Heyyy, american monkey." Xandar looking at her with wide eyes, and within a second he lunched at her and took her in hug. Both Alex and me get alramed at his actions.
I know he considers her as sister but I don't know about her. He hugged her too tight that she can not utter a word. Her face was towards Alex. She silently requesting him to help her. He got an clue and separate him from her. She gusped a air and started coughing. I was rubbing her back to soothe her. I was glaring at Xandar.
" Take it easy Xandar. " Alex said to Xandar. Then Xander got a point.
" Sorry , are you ok princess? I just got excited. "
" It's ok bro happens sometimes." When Pavi mentioned him as bro his eyes got lighten up. Even me and Alex are forbidden to call him bro. It only remind him her sister and he started shouting at us but when Pavi called him bro his eyes lighten up.
This time Pavi hugged him and Xandar returned hug without crushing her.
" Hii, I am Alex. " He introduced himself.
" Jason's best friend. " She completed, Alex was surprised.
" How did you know?" He asked.
" James uncle told me about you too" she replied.
" I am Pavi Raj," he introduced.
" We know." Alex said. Alex and Xandar looking at each other and making some face talking which I don't get but their is something going on. Then they looked at me and then again look at each other. This time they were grinning.
Dad didn't forget to tell her about them with name but forget to tell her about his own son's name. Wow dad. You are wonderful. Alex and Xandar took all bags from her but didn't take my bags my hands are also full more than her but they have to take only her's. She managed to charmed them in single meeting. She is wonderful. We entered and my mom come running towards her saying.
" God, I knew it,IÂ knew it. Honey she came." She said loudly to dad.
" You remember dear? Thanks . You look wonderful in this dress." Mom said.
" Thank you aunt for this dress." Pavi said. Ohh this dress is gift from mom.
Then mom saw us with bags and her mouth opens. Indians and their way of experiencing love is out of world.
"Aunt this is from mom, you guys left India so suddenly that she forgets to give this." She said with little embarrassing tone.
" Dear God, this is too much, and I remember giving her when we were leaving." She explained.
" Actually aunt , helper forgot to put these in trunk of car. She also send some craft works that you liked at palace." Pavi said. Dad come in view.
" Jesus Christ, what's this? This must be from Sureekha." He said looking at bags. Two helpers come and took the bags from us.
" Yaa, she also send for Jason, Alex and Xandar that's why it looks little like this."
"Â Little I can see how little is this." Alex said and we laughed.
Dinner went well. We all enjoyed Pavi's company. Mom prepared some special dishes for her. Alex and Xandar also get well together with her. I dropped her at her apartment and went to penthouse.
I am excited to work with her. I want to see the face of Alex and Xandar when they know that she is working with them. She didn't know yet that I am CEO of JAX Constructions. She will get surprised. I am not going to give her any work related previllages. She must be good at her work because I don't want to compromise on my dream project due to any girl. I will make sure my dream project get successful at any cost.
Dad didn't recommend her for job, she get this job on bases of her knowledge. I haven't seen her resume yet I will see it tomorrow at office.
