Chapter 17: Willingly Trapped

When my ankle got twisted Jason picked me up in his arms like a coffee mug he pick up everyday. He held me near his heart. I was able to smell his Cologne. I was afraid that he will hear my increased heart beat at that time. When he pranked me I hit him on his biescep and he didn't even budge. Yaa he must be very strong. God how strong he is. He made me seat in his car and got in as well.

It was already getting late. We should be arrived few hours early. Should I ask him how strong he is?. No Pavi that will be embarrassing. Don't forget that he is also your boss. I should know my limits. He must be living in gym.

" What are you thinking?"

" Nothing, just how strong you are to pick me up like coffee mug." Then I realized that literally spoke it out and now I don't know how to reply. He just laughing continuously.

" No no no no , it cheating. You should not ask anything when anyone is absent minded." I scold him.

" Coffee mug" he replied and laughing non stop.

" Jason, stop now." I scolded him fakely and he stopped.

" Gym that's why" he replied.

" Yaa, I get that." I said with embarrassment.

" No need to embarrass Pavi, I will take it as a compliment ." He said and i took breath of relief.

I turned on some Bollywood songs and started humming with it.

" You like this song?" Jason asked.

" Yaa, it soothes ." I explained him

" I liked how it sounds but I don't know what it means will you translate it for me." He asked.

I got excited.

" This song express the feelings of man who want tell his lover how much he love her but can't able to do it." I started.

" My heart is praying, listen to my heartbeats is main lyrics.

I should get you, only that's what I want

From the branches of life I should pick some beautiful moments

He didn't speak just looked in my eyes for second and returned to drive. I think it's too much for Jason.

" He must love her so much." He finally said.

" Yaa, it's song from movie. Now get it why indian movies has songs in it because it helps audience to feel the feelings of characters." I explained him.

" Ya, I agree but such kind of love never happens in real life." He said.

" I don't know because I never fall in love, but if love shall be coming in my life then I will pray it must be like this. And about you, then you never given your heart in anyone's possession. When you do you will get what he means, until wait." I said.

" you believe in love?" He asked me.

" Jason, love is feeling you don't have to believe it. You have to feel it." I replied. He didn't say anything on that just stopped the car in front of restaurants because it's already dinner time.

" Are you going to leave me here because you don't like the answer." I joked about it. He didn't laugh just smirked.

" very funny. You are right it's have to feel." He said looking at me directly in eyes.

" Wow, I managed to convince his Majesty." He laughed loudly on my comment. He get out and opens the door and offered his hand. I accepted it because my ankle.

"My pleasure , her Majesty" he said taking my hand and we both laughed at his remark.

We entered the restaurant and took our seats. Restaurant was away from city so it wasn't crowded at all.

Waitress came and asked us to order. Jason orders coke for both of us.

" Jason, because I don't drink you don't have to drink coke." I told him and told waitress to bring him any nice wine. He just smiled , his eyes hold adoration . When drinks arrived they asked us about dinner.

" Two vegetarian meal for us please" Jason told her without looking at her.

" Jason , .." before I could said anything he cut me off and said

" I want to, besides I loved veg food back in india. You cooked it remember." He said. His words touched my heart.

" But jason-"

" Don't stress about it dear just enjoy dinner and weather look how beautiful it is." He remarked.

" Besides, compensate me by feeding your food " he said drinking wine.

I noticed that we were seating on table beside window and nice cold breeze is touching my skin and automatically smile formed on my lips. My hair is flowing with gentle breeze. Pitter patter rain is coming.

" Ya it's beautiful." I said looking at nature.

" If you know" Jason replied in smallest mutter but I didn't react on that. We continue eating and chatting. My phone started ringing and I saw that dad is calling me. I looked at Jason and he nodded at me with gentle smile. I picked up.

" Good morning dad" I chipped as there morning and here is night.

" How my girl is doing?"

" Good dad, how are you?"

" Missing you."

" Dad, should I come?"

" No I will manage some day after that we all will come to visit you."

" Sure.". After he told me that James uncle convince him to let me do job and then I told him that I am dinning with him right now and told him what we were working. He demanded to speak Jason. Jason accepted and talked to him away from me. When he returned I asked him what they spoke.

" No, it will be remain between two men." Jason told boldly.

" You talked to my father." I said.

" Still" I huffed and pouted.

" God, don't make that face, I will spill." He said smiling at me. We completed our dinner and headed towards car.

" Jason" I spoke

" No" he said with cold face. When he didn't tell me I gave up.

" Jason, when you meet Alex and Xandar?"

" In school we were classmates and got very well with each other and after 8 years we decided to open an company." He told me. We chatted about Alex and Xandar's funny , stubborn moments.

Suddenly we heard loud sound from car and it stopped midway. I scared by sound and asked what's wrong with that we got out of car and started searching. We found that we got an flat wheel. Jason inspected the tyre and told me to get in car immediately.

I got in back seat of car and Jason was looking for something in woods. He come and sat beside me at back. He had little concerned look on his face.

" Jason, what's going on?"

" Tyre was busted." With that he called someone, but due to network issue call failed. After trying some time rain started heavily drenching everything in a sec.

" There is no respection on phone." He said.

"Now, we have to wait? " I asked.

" Yaa, sometime. When Ron get that I am out of reach he will start searching and tracing then he will come here.simple." he said looking at me. His face relaxed a bit. Good.

" So, we just have to wait."

" We are at back seat it's more comfortable than front one. " I said

He smiled. I remember that he send lab assistant for help.

" Actually Jason thank you, for lab assistant." I said.

" No need, I knew that you are going to need it you have to handle work and study both so I thought it will better if you have one. " he said.

" Still thanks" . He nodded.

" I will off the light and engine otherwise , batteries will be down." He has point so I nodded.

It's dark now. His presence near me kept me clam in such buzzard suitation. Jason looked very happy.

" Why are you so happy?" I asked confusingly.

" It's raining, it makes me happy." He said and started singing in unknown language. I was start at him. It makes me clam.

" Wow, Jason you sings very nice. Your voice has calming effect." I said , when he completed his song.

" Thanks, but don't mention it I front of everyone."

" Why? You have such a great voice then why?"

" Please, even Alex and Xandar didn't know." He said.

" Ok, but then why did you sing in front of me?". I asked him.

" Because I feel happy and experience peace with you." He said looking at me. I can see his eyes due to the thunder making some light just for a moment.

" I am glad to hear that." I said looking at him. He felt shiver run down and he removed his suit jacket and made me wear like a blanket.

" No Jason you will get cold."

" You don't have an option Pavi." He said in authoritive tone. I stopped rejecting. I liked his song and wanted to hear it again. I already felt exhausted.

" please, will you sing for me Jason." I asked him with pleading tone.

" Sure. You are the first person I am going to sing for." He said and started singing.

I feel relaxed and I dozed in to sleep.

I felt comfortable singing for her even Alex and Xandar doesn't know that I can sing. I never sung in front of anyone but this time I felt comfortable and happy. I felt she is shivering but she didn't even told me that she is getting cold. She doesn't have habit of such cold weather, but she could have told me that. I removed my suit jacket and made her wear that like blanket on her. She denied and said that I will get cold. I internally laughed at that point but made her wear that.

I was singing for her and I felt some load on my shoulder it took my attention and saw that she dozed off on my shoulder. I made her comfortable on my shoulder as just tip was touching so I soot near her and put her head on my shoulder properly so she won't get cramps. Her hands are still cold, I rapped my hand around her shoulder.

I can't make her sleep here, Ron should come soon. I remembered how my days went differently as she entered in my life. I also remembered that in bar she told us that she will be getting arranged married. I just hope he will keep her happy or I will make his life living hell. Still deep in heart I want her to be around me all my life, want to see her face everyday, want to be reason of her smile and blush.

Even she don't want me I will make sure of her happiness it's my promise to you Pavi and I take my word very seriously. Around me or not I just want her smile never leave her face. Her smile radiates the happinesses to life of people.

Her wanted me to look after her because she never left house before that. I made him sure that she is safe with me. He relaxed and thanked me.

She ordered me wine and I know that she didn't even know the names so she just said nice one. A smile crept on my lips when I remembered that. She was looking Damm gorgeous during dinner in dim lights. Cold breeze flowing through her hairs of locks. She keep mostly wear just lipstick of light colour. She always wear professional cloths but not skimpy skirts she wear shirt, pants and sometimes jacket on it. Most of women in my office wear short skirts which not even upto their knees.

Thinking about her me too fall in sleep resting my head on her head.

I woke up due to chipping of birds and saw that she is still in her dreams resting her head on my chest my hands were incirculed around her and her one hand was clutching my shirt below the cooler. I loved how she hold my shirt in his hand. I was captivated by her sleeping on my chest and holding me. I kept looking at her for while. Some hair came in front of her face I removed it for her.

" How long you are gonna stare at her Jason." I heard and my head turned towards source there was Alex resting on his car folding his hands and looking at us. I felt like got cought red handed.

" How long are you here? " I asked him in low voice. I don't want to wake her up. I didn't move just my head towards him.

" Nearly 30 to 45 min." He said.

" Dum ass, why you didn't wake me up then?" I asked with suppressing my anger.

" You are sleeping I don't want to wake up, so simply waited." He said like it's most normal thing to do in this situation.

Pavi moved on my chest and opened her eyes. When she senses that she was sleeping on my chest she get up suddenly with widened eyes, but I didn't say anything to her about that so she didn't bring it.

" good morning sunshine." I said smiling at her.

" Good morning" she said looking at her hands. Alex came forward and greeted her.

" Come on guys let leave or you both loved this street too much." Alex replied while grinning.

" Thanks Alex for picking up us." She said.

" Pleasure sis, now let's go." He said. We get in car.

" Ron will pickup the car. Why you didn't call us if you got stuck here?" He said.

" Sorry, there wasn't respection on phone" she said.

" Ohh! " He said then we talked about some business and I told him plan Pavi and me made for weekend. He liked it.

He first dropped Pavi in her apartment and then dropped me at my penthouse. He was digging about yesterday's events with Pavi. I think he is suspicious about that, but he also constantly smiling at road with half smile on his face.
