Third person pov:
On Monday ana went to meet Alex in the afternoon along with clara. She was afraid something like last time will happens if they were alone. She made the modifications and colors asked by Alex. Clara was tensed because he was rejecting their designs from last few days. She thought this is their big project because of her they are losing the project but ana don't care. If he doesn't like he can search for other designers.
On the other side Alex came from other meeting an hour before. He was immersed in the documents and work, His PA (Mrs. Charles) arrives and said "Sir, Khanna staff came to show you the designs. Can I send them in"? he just nods his head, he is not interested in their staff, if she told "ana is here" he will be interested but their staff are coming from last few days. Alex thought if he returns the designs, ana will come next time but it fails.
He hears the knock on and just said "come in". Ana and clara enter his cabin, but he did not see them. They went to desk and ana greeted him "good Afternoon Mr. King" along with clara. By hearing her voice, he suddenly raises his head. Alex saw ana and clara but his concentration is on ana. He greeted them and directed them to take your seats. Ana and clara sat and this time ana explained the designs. He did not hear what ana is explaining, only seeing her lips moving thinking of his kiss with her. Clara is listening to what ana explaining so next time she did not do any mistakes. Ana can feel alex intense gaze on her but she neglects it and continuous with her work.
After her explain, he agreed the designed. Both Ana and clara felt relief and packing their things when Alex questioned "Ms. Khanna you can work in your cabin provided by our company, why always travel from that long."
Ana replied "I am sorry Mr. King to decline your offer. I also have other projects to do that I cannot do it here. I can do only your project in your office. So it is better to work from my company. Thank you for your concern Mr. King" she declined politely. But Alex did not accept it again said "you can work from here. In your cabin more than 10 members can work. You can do both our project and others here. By that you can save travelling charges. It is also easy to communicate and take decisions for my projects."
At last ana give up and accept alex proposal "okay Mr. king" because she had no interest in debating about it. "From tomorrow my staff who works on this project, also comes here." With that ana and clara left from there after thanking him. Alex want to make her work here so he can see her when he wants see her.
At last both Ana and alex went in their works. Ana is nervous to work near him, she is tensed about what further happens. He may try to do things like before. She decides to never be alone with him , with that she continues her work.
After one month:
In this complete month ana felt relief that alex try to stop his flirting skills. Daily she comes at 9:00 along with her staff, work same as how she works in her office and leaves at 6:00PM. After that she went to her restaurant and check the process and left to apartment. This is her daily routine from past month they discuss about King's project and other projects. Alex idea is good, that moving from here to there is decreased. Now this cabin has converted into her office. All her workers also work from here.
On weekends fin and jen did not leave her. one-week girls' night, other time clubs, movies etc.., Ana enjoys along with them. She felt happy that her friends try to make her happy.
Other side alex works from company only. He never gets alone time to meet ana. She comes with her staff always. He felt good by seeing her daily, he can't touch or talk personally. It is better than not seeing her. When ana works he can see her through glass door. Only alex known about this. Ana many times felt that someone is watching her but never give thought about it. Before her coming, he always does journey from one place to another because of work in other countries. Now maximum he completes them through video conference. If only important he will prefer journey.
In last month, when he felt any stress or overload, he watches ana from his cabin.
In past he used to drink or sleep with whores to relieve his stress. Now days Ana becomes a stress relief for him. She became addiction to him. He never thought what are these feelings.
But his friends observe some changes in him but they are not clear about it. They all are trying to find out what happens to him. But they felt happy about his change. He stops to laid with different girls on weekend. All of them want alex also to find his girl, alex always tell that no girl is special to him.
By changes in alex, they are thinking that some girl is behind all of this, they want to find who is that girl. They never discuss this matter with ana and also with alex. So, Ana don't know anything about it.
At 8:00 clock in night, Ana is working in her cabin. When she saw the time, she recognized its already late. Complete floor is in dark. Only her cabin lights are on. She felt tensed because she is afraid of dark. It reminds her of her past nightmares to her. she is collecting her belongings to leave.
At the same time Alex came to office, he returns from London. He directly came to office to collect some files. By the time all employees left, so he known that office is completely dark.
He went to lift and reached to his floor. At the same time ana off the lights in her cabin and left.
In dark Ana and alex cannot see their faces. Ana slowly walks to the public lift and waits for lift. In meanwhile alex collect the files and coming towards lift and observe lift coming up. He questioned
"who is there?" Ana shouts "haa" in sudden reflex when he hears sound from her back. At the same time Lift opens, Alex recognize her voice and questioned ana "What are you doing this late ana?".
Ana felt relief by seeing him in lift light "OMG. I was afraid by sudden hearing your voice." "that is not answer to my question Ana. What are you doing this late.?" He asked angrily. "I forget the time and doing work. When I saw time after work completed, it is 9:00." she replied tensely by seeing Alex Angry face.
Alex is angry, "how can she forget time? Its already 9:30, how can she go home at late night. If something happens who takes responsibility. She must take care about herself. What if something happens to her?" He thought.
Alex cool his self and went into the public lift along with Ana. Ana and alex stand opposite sides in the lift. After a long time, both are alone and the tension in the lift increases. Alex is seeing her and ana held her head down.
Suddenly light in the lift blinking and off completely and lift stopped moving. Ana afraid of sudden darkness. She starts shouting for help but no one is there in the office other than security. they cannot hear her screaming. Alex went towards ana and try to stop her. Ana cannot breathe freely; she is breathing hardly. Alex observes her sudden change and finds that she is having panic attack.
Ana told alex "I can't breathe". Alex moves ana towards the corner in the lift by telling cool words to her and suggesting her to take slow breathing in and out. It is not are working, Ana cannot breathe and miss her balance. Then Alex sat down, make ana sit her on his lap and embrace her in his arms and try to control her. finally, he does the thing it comes to his brain "Mouth to mouth CPR" He place his lips on her and try to make her breathe. After some time, she becomes normal and breath by herself.
Ana felt embarrassed and moves aside to maintain distance between them. Ana said "thanks alex". "it's okay ana. what happens to you?" he questioned. Ana hesitantly replied because he saves her today else what happens god knows. "I am afraid of dark, if I am afraid, I can't breathe properly and have sudden panic attacks"
"this happens to you before?" alex questioned to know more about her. "Yes, two to three times" Ana replied.
"when?" alex again asked. "nearly 4 years before" Ana said. "can you please don't ask me about those things" Ana requested before he questions again.
Alex understand her discomfort so he diverts the topic "Do you have phone? I forget my phone in the car."
Ana gave her phone to alex; he tries to contact others. But due to signals problem they cannot contact others.
"what we have to do now. We cannot inform others? Then how can we escape from here" Ana asked.
"we have to wait until morning, when security guard open the office. Till morning we have to be here only." Alex replied. After that ana and alex remined silent for few minutes, then ana head falls on alex shoulder says that ana slept.
17 years girl is begging a 50 years old man to stop. He is trying to rape her. Girl begging him to stop, but that man behaving like animal. "I am like your daughter uncle please leave me." but that person did not consider her talk and try to tear her dress. Ana wake up from the sleep when alex calling her.
While Alex sleeping, he hears ana's begging and wake up. He saw her shivering and body is sweating. Alex try to wake up her. Ana came to reality and place her hand on forehead that was sweating continuously. Alex told some soothing words to make ana feel better. He wants to talk about the nightmare but did not ask anything. He makes her comfortable, her left hand interwind with his right hand. Alex cannot see her face so he on the torch and observe her face for few seconds.
After sometime phone charging over, alex make ana to put her head on his arms and embrace her in his arms and slept.
After sometime alex get up due to knocking but when he saw ana. Ana placed her head on his arms and hands arounds his hand and sleeping peacefully. "Mr. king are you in the lift" Security guard asked nervously from the outside.
"yes. What is the problem in lift?" Alex relied to guard. "sir, I will call the technician right now." Saying that guard left. Alex is seeing ana like there is no tomorrow.
"What are you feeling boy. It feels good to see her face like this. Right." He heard someone questioning him.
Without knowing to himself he replied "yes". After that he checked the surroundings no one is there, then how can he hear others voice. He did not understand who is talking with.
Alex wake up ana from her sleep when lift starts working. Then ana see her position and suddenly stand up from her place. Alex also stand up when the lift doors open. They come out of the lift, guard said "I am sorry sir for the trouble. I did not see you or mam at night. Morning when I am checking, saw your car and find out this sir. I am really sorry sir." Guard said
Alex was anger due to their carelessness if something happens to anyone what they will do. when he was about to shout Ana caught his hand and replied to guard "for now it's okay. from next time be careful." "we cannot guess what happens when, but you have to check completely and close the office before you lock it" Alex was silenced to hear ana speaking that nicely after what happens yesterday. But now both were tried ,he warned guard and left from there.
He dropped ana at her home and told her to take rest for today and left from there.
