Chapter 29
Third person pov:
Next morning ,Ana sat at the end of bed leaning on headboard and sleeping peacefully. Alex slept in her lap placing his hands around her waist.
*** At night **
When alex entered office ana came to get her things, seeing lights on in alex room ana thought Charles is there. To confirm it ana knock the door but she hears a weak voice to come in. she saw a man back but she knows who he is. Ana wants to apologize to him but he ordered her to massage. Before she replies he left, after few seconds she hear him calling again. She was surprised to see a mini room with all facilities a home has. Single bed with attached bathroom ,kitchen, living hall and mini bar. When ana entered she did not observe alex sat for her.
Ana plays a soft music and went to bed to massage his hair. After few seconds she saw alex having an even breathing. She wants to leave but have a look at his face she can't leave him like that. It causes him a severe backpain, so she went to help him to lay him down but what happened is different.
Ana dragged him down to sleep , it's hard at last she was succeeded, she thought he was heavy sleepyhead and trying to arrange pillow under his head, without waking him. But alex make her sit and kept his head in her lap and slept like a cute boy. " what cute boy" she gets away those thoughts. She wants to wake him up but seeing his face pale and tired, she felt bad. "Why should he work that hard ? his parents earned a lot then why he is to suffer??" she questioned herself. She observes his face closely. He looks weak but his handsome features did not lose its glory. " every time I see your face you look more beautiful than before. Why ??" Ana asks him slowly setting his hair . she did not hear male voice but she hears a female voice. " because you start to like him. I think your feeling also starts growing from last you seen him"
"No ... I only help him. he helps me many times before , it's only a way to repay him" Ana console herself , while thinking about him she also drifted in to sleep.

When Ana felt a pain in her neck, she tries to turn her body was numb. Just then she felt heavy weight in her lap to turn, then she opens her eyes and saw a peaceful sleeping alex face. She reminds herself to not wake him up, she slowly tries to lift his head . she suddenly hears a loud sound of alarm; in action she releases alex head that hit her knee.
"ouch... what the fuck???" Alex rubbed his head , wake up from his sleep and continued " who entered my room with out my permission?" alex shouted at another person. " I am sorry. I just ...." Ana was stammering . " Ana ..." alex surprised to see her, he rubbed his sleepy eyes and saw her again.
" I... just want to help you but by sudden alarm I was afraid and left your head. I am sorry." Ana explained herself. But alex was seeing her morning face, he came all here to see her ." what a beautiful morning" he thought.
But he doesn't know how she entered so he asked teasing reminding past " Ana why are you here? Did you miss your man?" alex raising his eyebrows proudly, all the tiredness he had was gone. Ana can see changes in that face which was pale last night is having some brightness in those eyes.
" no... last night you ordered to massage you. You did not give me time to reply." Ana continued hesitating " next" alex asked " when I was about to leave you dragged me and make me sit , you did not leave me . I don't want to disturb your sleep. So, I have to sit here. "
Alex thought it was his dream that he slept in ana lap last night but it was real. When he saw ana to leave " Ana where are you leaving ?" Alex asked her. Ana reminds something and says " before I leave, I want to tell you something" ana turn around to face him and seeing into his eyes and says " I am sorry again to make you stress because of me you have to include in these scandals and for calling you my man and for that night behavior . It's all because of me. I have solution for it. And thanks for saving me when I am in danger. I will thankful to you for my rest of the life."
" And for those rumors, I am sorry , from today I will be far away from you and about work you can send me your answer through calls or mails. This is our last project to work together, form next we will be strangers." Ana said and left.
Ana's pov:
When I came to work on Monday, I hear some employees are gossiping about me, like " I am a ****, *****, and .... remaining names given to me. I get this project by sleeping with him." so i came after all left to get my things.
I am not afraid of this society ; I don't care about this shit. If you once let your guard down and let others to win, they hurt you more. I care it because it effects alex business. So, I take this decision which helps both.
With that I did not need to come here , listen these comments. In normal if anyone talk bad about me , I gave them a slap on their face and shut their mouth, but reality is ""that I alone drag myself into this. Then I have to be responsible for it""
Society only sees outside and decide other side. This is the thing I never like " to judge by seeing but not listening their point. Don't even try to understand the situation". It's useless to explain, better choice is to leave it. And I made correct decision.
Alex pov:
I was stunned to hear ana reply. What she said did not get into my mind. There are some rumors. what rumors and I don't know it. I called David and asked about rumors. He explained me complete story that I never expected. " I never like to interfere my personal life in media, now they dare to mess with me. then I will make them regret their life." I thought . I don't care these rumors with others but it relates ana. I don't like if anyone talk bad about her.
I like her braveness , if others take it as a reason to get high position or act weak before me. but She is Ana, I don't like her solution, by today evening I make the decision and it was followed.
Third person pov:
Alex seen all the comments in the media send by others, by reading one by one it raises his temper. I will give a good answer to this society.
In evening Ana got a call from Charles , to come to office and meet alex. She hesitates but she went to meet him.
In office room:
There are a girl looks like a college student with 18 years having an arrogant face. When ana entered office ,alex sat in his chair and girl stand infront of him folding her hands.
Ana greeted alex and alex started explaining pointing to the girl" she is the girl, who release the photo" Ana saw her face and trying to find something. " what do you want to do with her? it's up to you."
"Alex are you sure about it?" Ana questioned alex seeing that girl form top to bottom. Ana went forward ask that girl
Jen: " what's your name?"
That girl shook her head " why should I tell you? "
Jen:" can I know why you release that photo?"
Girl : did not speak anything.
Jen : " Speak something girl. If you don't tell us, how can we know your motto?" jen questioned leaning to the wall beside her.
Girl and alex were surprise to see her talking coolly. Girl hesitates but seeing ana fixed gaze she gets her strength and replied
Girl: " Mr. King is my dream man , I love him, I don't like when you kiss him so I want to make you leave him."
Jen : " what you get from this? Why you did it?"
Girl : " I told you my motive"
Jen : " I asked who ask you act like this? And what did you get it from this?"
Girl face changes she mummers some thing and again told
" what I told you is true. You believe it or not that's up to you." Girl was frightened her expressions was changing , girl asked " what punishment you want to give me. tell me what I have to do?" alex observes ana but ana did not reply " if you want to compensate it with money then I don't have it. If you want to kill me also no one cares. I am not afraid of you" girl says recklessly that she doesn't care.
Alex anger was raising seeing her rude behavior . Alex thought " if she was not a girl, I had taken care of it."
Ana asked again same question "girl tell me who it is?"
Alex rang bell then two bodyguards came in , he ordered pointing the girl " this girl must be put in prison for her rest of her life"
Ana stopped him and questioned " alex why are you punishing innocent people."
" Ana you watched how she behaves, then why are you stopping it. all are thinking bad about you because of her. you should penalize her." alex replied to her question.
" see girl, if you did not speak now, then don't blame me that I did not help you" Ana said pointing.
By hearing her words girl losing all her braveness and fall down " please punish me what ever you want, but don't ask more than that?" girl pleaded.
Ana went towards her and bend rubbing her tears and says " don't worry , I will help you but I want to know who ask you to do this?"
" mam I can't if I reveal it, my mother life will be in danger. She had operation; I want money if I help them, they treat my mother." Girl reveals half-truth.
" ok. What is the guarantee that they will treat your mother? If something happens to you now, then who will take care of her next. If she learns truth next, she can accept it? She was saved her life exchange of her daughter life"
Girl was silent and shook her head " what can I do? I did not complete my studies, she is the only one I have, I should risk myself for her life."
" girl, learn one thing, at any situation always do what your heart says? Not what situation demands you?" Ana suggested her. " how much you want to treat her?" Ana asked.
"100,000 dollars" girl says with tears. Girl gets up " Mam , I am Diana. thank you for helping me to understand the reality. I will take care of my mother with good money, not in bad way."
" I will give her number , I don't know about that lady, she only calls me we never met before." With that she searches in her phone and gave to ana.
She was about leave but Ana stops her " When is your mother operation? "
" Saturday ." Girl replied " thanks for what you told; I will keep it in my mind until my last breath."
Ana takes her check book and signed and gave her "take this."
Diana says " no mam. You helped me a lot to make my decision. I am grateful to you. I will take my leave."
" first don't call me mam, call me sis." Ana said softly.
"next take this if I am your sister then your mom is my mom. I treat you as my little sister, take care of her. I will come to see you one time." Ana explains to her. " sis but.." Diana says. Ana interrupts her " no buts take it and arrange for everything." " thank you, ma... sis" After Diana left ana ask alex to protect Diana , if opposite side knows about it, they may hurt her. Alex says as ana said. He sends his one of the bodyguards to protect the girl.
Alex asked " ana how you know she is not culprit." Ana said taking her seat "by the way she presents, she shows arrogant and reckless ness but, in her heart, she was afraid and worried. By her eyes expression there is a helpless ness , so I throw a guess and it was correct ."
"okay .." Alex said. " now, I find a solution to our problem"
Ana raised her eyes and asked " why? Don't you like my answer?".
Alex said casually " it violates one of my decision" " what ?" ana asked alex to explain which decision and how it relates to her.
Alex stood up from his place and take Ana's hand and entered into the lift. They went to the employer's cabin . all the employers are ready to leave but stopped seeing alex. When they saw alex holding Ana's hand means the "rumor's are true". All were surprised because other than his family and close friends he will never hold others hand . They think " Ana is someone important to him" .
Alex announced " I learn that there are some scandals running in media." After observing every one's face, he continued " You all know that if any outside person interferes in my life, they are dead. So, the girl stands beside me is important, if I find any rumors again talking bad about her back, they can ready to face my wrath. If any person spread rumors about my personal life, they will be dead" Alex warned seriously to each and every person.
All were shocked to see alex taking initiative to protect the girl standing beside him with complete shock in her face. All girls are jealous and envy ana for the support she gets from the  top billionaire standing her side. Other ladies thought " what is difference between her and us? What we lack ??" some are" she is not at all beautiful, then why alex supporting her? I am better than her" like that each and every girl thinks about themselves.
At last they get a conclusion that " Ananya Khanna is alex member that we should respect her, if not that person can see Mr. King's warth"
