third person pov:
After birthday party all are dispersed doing their business. Ana was busy in her business, now her burden decreases because AK Foundation. But she accepted many projects in last few days, to complete them she works hard.
Other side Alex also busy in his work, after he return from birthday party complete underground maphia was messed up. Some groups want to attack on Alex and take the control over Maphia.
Alex handover the work in Italy to David to check for few days and went on business trip. From last month he was managing this and did not check on other companies. So, he went to check all the companies in states personally, companies in other places he arranged video conference and checked it. Due to heavy workload he handover some of company issues to nick and zack.
One week later:
Days goes on , at last Nick's project on construction has completed, today there is a grand opening ceremony . Many famous and popular persons were invited to the opening ceremony. Ana attends the function representing her company. Alex attends the party with Ms. Brenna Baker.
She is the daughter of Mr. Baker who is the next top business company in states after them. She completed her studies and just returned last week and have worked in her father's company in past year along studying. She is a proud and arrogant girl who treat others or poor like dust but to outside she behaves like an innocent girl. She had two shades; others can never think that she can even hurt a small insect. She always acts as a sensitive girl before others but she was spoiled from her childhood.
Her father asked Alex to make her to work along with him for experience . Alex don't want to but he cannot refuse because he knows her from his childhood. She is his sister's friend but not that close like jen and ana. Alex also suggested her father to work her with her brother, he said " she will try to escape from work if she works with her brother".
Alex and others have some partnership business with them, so he accepted her father's request. In last week there is a complete news about they both get together. They are only working together but they are some gossips about their marriage. Alex did not mind it because these are common to him. Alex treated her as a co-worker not more than that she is same as a other employees to him.
Ana was with jen, David was in Italy he did not attend so she accompanies jen. Ana was introduced to some large companies to collaborate and work. Ana wants to rest for some time , so she said she will contact them in future . Jen went to meet her friend; Ana sat a side just then she saw Alex with that girl who was now famous in social media Ms. Brenna Baker.
Ana saw some photos of them working together in last few days. First, she did not believe but she saw with her own eyes. After party night Ana went to pick her things from Alex company , there Ana saw Brenna talking so closely with Alex that he did not even see her on the way. Ana did not meet him, collect her things and return office keys to Mrs. Charles and left from there.
Ana brain said " he is a not who you think, he is different from you so, don't think more about him." She stops thinking about him and enjoys the ceremony. After sometime Alex saw her chatting with a man, he was none other than Victor her classmate who asked her on date on David engagement. Alex did not like it, if he was not chatting with others, he would have drag her . Alex focus was completely on ana, that he did not observe that someone was watching him.
Brenna was talking with others, but Alex did not respond to her what she was saying. She turns her head and saw Alex watching some woman. Brenna thought " why Alex watching her? " she thought all the possible ways. She knows that Alex was never interested in any woman with heart other than body . After all the men left then Alex excused himself from her and went towards Ana .
Alex thought when ana came to collect her things. He was happy to meet ana because he knows that she would come to company to get her things. But who knows that he was completely irritated by the new co-worker and neglect others?
On that day when ana came he was irritated by Brenna and frustrated by her. When Assistant give him Ana keys, he learned that she came and left without meeting him. He thought at that time" I should blame myself to accept Brenna to work with him" .
Today he did not want to bring her but she pestered him until he brings her has his date. the man talking with Ana left from there. Ana was about to get up then hear a voice " why are you talking with him?"
Ana hears the owner of the voice and neglects him and stood up from her place. Alex caught her hand and asked again " Why are you talking with him and why are you with him? " Alex did not know ana came to the party, he was not against to come but seeing her with victor, he asked " you escort him today?" Ana did not reply to any question of him. Alex loses his temper, he was never neglected by anyone and his grip was tight "I don't like to repeat again ana? Answer it" . Ana without seeing him said four words "None of your business" and release his grip and stood aside.
Victor came with a juice for ana and drink for himself. Seeing Alex here he greeted Alex, Alex just nods his head. Victor offered juice to ana, he took another drink from passing waiter and offered one glass to Alex. Alex just took it; he can't show his temper now. Ana who stood beside Alex said thanks to victor and drink her juice. Victor talk with ana, next zack and fin joined them. Ana asks fin about jen, fin replied " jen was talking to David on phone. She must be return by now" . Ana said " I will see her, if she completes, I will bring her back" with that she leaves them.
Brenna saw Alex different attitude towards that lady and surprised. She never believes if someone says Alex chase a woman. Seeing Alex following and questioning her Brenna can't take it. Ana was getting down after seeing jen talking with David , she is getting down using staircase. Alex was blocked by some business chat on the way. When ana getting down, her feet slip and her stomach hit to the staircase rod. It was dark that no one was at steps side because steps were at back of hotel that no one is present at back.
Alex was searching for ana and saw her clutching her stomach with her hands in a painful manner that she closes her eyes tightly and balancing herself to stand. He steps down jumping two steps and hold ana before she lost her balance . she can't speak, her vision was blur but she knows who lifted her. Alex went towards private lift and took her to president suite in the building.
Alex comforted her and took her to bedroom. He places her on the bed softly and called the lady doctor. Actually, the doctor also attended the party, so in few minutes she came to top floor. Alex greeted her and send her to ana room. She said Alex to wait outside the room.
Alex was waiting for doctor reply, Doctor return back after 10 minutes. When doc came out the room saw Alex questioning about Ana make her surprise. Who will be not shocked by seeing Alex behaviour today because whole country knows how cruel ,ruthless and heartless man he is?
Alex questioned doc worriedly "What happened to her?" Doc hesitates for to say or not. Seeing doc hesitation, he raised his voice and questioned again " What happen to her? Tell me quickly?"
Doc was afraid of him and said " Mr. King, it's just her periods time and Ms. Khanna said that she was slipped and her stomach hit the staircase rod. Because of that her stomach hurts more. I gave her medicine to relief her pain . She wakes up in an hour." doc gave a prescription and said " Sir, ask her to have some food because she was weak and stressed. After that have these medicines. She will feel better and also give her some strength." With that doc left from there.
Alex immediately called his Personal Assistant and ordered him to bring those medicines. Ben was stunned to know to whom the medicines were used. Last time when he came to this place, he learns so many new things about Alex. When ben learned the things, what Alex done for Ms. Khanna and he also saw how he care about her in flight. He decided that she was important to him, so he bought the medicines and handover to him in 10 minutes.
When Alex saw sleeping figure, he sat beside her and clearing the hair on her face and kissed her on forehead. He was waiting for the food he ordered. Just then his phone rang he saw the caller id Ms. Baker. He already avoided her calls but she was calling him again. Alex saw ana sleeping to not disturb her he went to balcony and replied to her.
" Alex, where are you? All are waiting for you ?" Brenna said from other side.
" I can't come now, you can continue." He replied.
"what are you saying? You are main guest how can you disappear? Come fast." Brenna tries to convince him. Alex did not want to but Brenna was searching causes to return Alex.
So, Alex decides to visit them once and return fast before ana wakes up. Alex reminded ben to take care of ana until he returns.
Ana wakes up when someone jerked her. She saw a waitress standing there with a food. When ana saw her surroundings and did not find Alex here. She was disappointed , knowing for whom ana searching waitress said " Mr. King was in the party with Ms. Baker." Ana only nods her head and waitress asked " May I inform Mr. King that you woke up?" ana " Don't disturb Mr. King, I am fine"
She nodded and said " Mam Have this food and take these medicines." Ana did not reply anything. Waitress left from there. Ana can't think correctly, Alex left her and went to the party this make her feel low . Again, she reminds herself that I am nothing to him then why he had to care about me. She searches whether anyone is here but no one is here. She doesn't want to eat anything he gave. She stood from her place and left the room.
When ana was coming out of the lift she was greeted by Victor, seeing her condition victor supported her. She felt weak and pain in her abdomen. Victor took her back to party but ana want to leave. When Ana was leaving, she saw Alex dancing with Brenna without turning back ana left from there. Victor make her sit in the car and drove her to her place.
Ana eyes were red, seeing her victor asked her " Ananya what happen to you? why your eyes are red?"
" nothing, just some girl problems" Ana replied.
" can I take you to hospital?" Victor asked her.
" No, I have a flight in a hour. I have to leave now." Ana replied.
" Ananya, you were not feeling well how can you travel now? You can travel next time. Cancel your journey now." Victor questioned her.
" No, I have to go now. Its important." Hearing ana reply, he knows once she decided she never listen to anyone.
Victor dropped her at her house, he helped to pick her luggage and to drop her at airport. On the way ana called to jen and said she was leaving. Ana informed jen and fin about her journey before.
At Hotel:
Ben saw the bed empty ; he checked all rooms. He did not find Ana and she did not eat anything. He called Alex and informed that she was not there and did not have any food. Alex immediately leaves the party and called her. He only listens 'tik.. tikk'. She was rejecting his calls. Knowing that his anger raises a lot. He did not find her in the party, he asked the waitress. She said " Madam in your suite had left with another man a while ago, sir" .
Hearing that he checked the cctv footage and know that she left with victor. Alex worried that if she had in any problem because she offended dangerous persons last time and also those people are trying to hurt her. They may use her as a bait to attack him. And she was weak, she did not have any meal and medicines.
On side seeing Alex worried about that girl Brenna face frowned , he even saw her leaving with other man Alex caring her. She planned to make all this but all are in vain.
He wants to give medicines to jen and talk about Ana condition. Alex went towards jen, all their friends were there. Seeing Alex zack asked " where you disappeared man?" fin saw Alex worried face, she asked " what happen bro?"
" nothing." He said and turn towards jen and handover medicines to her. Jen asked " for whom these medicines Alex"
"for Ana." jen asked " to Ana, why? " before Alex reply jen continued " By the way she is not here." Alex replied " I know , she left. So give her these medicines"
" No, She was not here means she was leaving this country tonight" seeing her watch " she already informed me that she was going to airport. By now plane may take off" Alex asked jen " call ana and stop her." " why are you stopping her bro?" fin asked. Alex raises his voice and ordered " just do as I say."
Alex was fuming with anger , seeing him red jen directly called ana , hearing reply " you are trying number is currently switched off . try again later.". jen said same to Alex, seeing Alex jen questioned " why are stopping her Alex?"
" what should I do jen, Ana was not feeling well, she was weak and pale. She was slipped on steps. Doc said to give her food and medicine but she did not have anything and left with victor " Alex explained the situation.
"what??" fin and jen questioned at a time.
"yes, I arranged every thing to her and came down. By time I went she left with victor" Alex said.
Zack suggested " call victor and ask whether he know anything about Ana." jen called victor he answered her call .
Jen explained to Alex " victor also said to stop, but she said it was important. And she did not eat anything on the way."
" Ana, once you return, I will arrange a baby sitter to cake about you." jen murmured to herself.
" I told her to take about her, but she always neglects my words." Jen said.
Alex asked " do you know which flight she is?"
Jen replied and gave Alex the details.
Alex took details and know that she was going to India and it is a long journey. Alex ordered ben to get details of the flight.
Alex went back to his suite followed by his friends. Ben collected all details about the flight. Alex connected to plane and ordered air hostess to arrange healthy food and arrange medicines to Ana.
In Plane:
Ana now feels bad that she showed her anger on food. If she had food, she would feel better. But not finding Alex her side she doesn't want to eat. Her brain reminds her " Ana why you always spoil your mood. Now you have to focus on the work you are going to do" with that she comforted herself.
After sometime hostess brought food to her , ana thanked her. She asked politely " Mam, you are looking pale, do you have any problems? If you want any medicines please feel free to ask."
Ana told her problem; hostess brought the medicines what Alex prescribed her. She handover the medicines. After having them ana felt better and take nap.
Ana's pov:
After three days:
Ana stood before the mirror and trying to get courage . After I came back to India, I book a room in a hotel. From last two days I was sucked in this room and crying reminding all the past. I did not had courage to face to my past. But I reminded myself that I am alone , no one will support me.
Today, I decided to visit my maa and dad cemetery. Thinking of this my tears cannot stop flowing. I gather my courage and left the room afternoon.
I was walking on side path waiting for a cab. Smooth breeze hitting my skin, it was pleasant which helps me to calm myself. After an hour journey I reached to destination. I was shivering and nervous while moving slowly takes steps towards the cemetery.
I collapsed before their graveyard; I can't control myself anymore. " Maa, Dad. Sorry I was late. I came to see you after a long time. Before I went to abroad, I promised you that I will be a successful person. See I open a restaurant as you start your business to remind me about you every day and I run designing company. ...."
I don't know how much time it takes but seeing the sunset, it was evening. I release all my happy and sorrow with them. Now I feel better sharing with them. I came out cemetery and walking forward to see small streets having a stall.
I walk towards them and saw colorful rakhi's .

It reminds me about the festival we celebrate "RAKSHA BANDHAN". I asked shopkeeper " Cha-cha , kab hai Raksha Bandhan hi?" (uncle, when is Raksha Bandhan? )
Uncle replied " aaj hai beti. Ek rakhi kardilo thumare baya ke li ye.."( today girl. Buy one for your brother.) he forwards rakhi towards her. I can't tie it to them but keep them with me remining them. I bought 2 rakhi's. I thought about them, again I start to cry.
I think rain also helping me to cover myself. My tears are covered in those rain drops. I am walking on a street without knowing which way I am going. I came to senses when I hit a girl coming in opposite direction. I said " sorry" to her about to leave. But that girl stops me and observing that to remind something. By observing her face, I felt I saw her before, I know her before.
She pointing me and asked with surprise "Ananya Khanna" I don't know to accept it or not. I don't want to meet my past before that she holds my hand tightly that I will escape if she leaves me. Yes , it's true If her grip is loose, I had tried to escape. She dragged me towards a car and pushed me inside. I struggled to leave but she ordered driver to lock the doors.
She sat beside driver and lost in her thoughts. I disturbed her but she did not reply to me. After some time, car stopped before a house. Seeing that Mansion it reminds me who she may be.
