Third person pov:
Before Alex work complete ( Nearly 12 hours before)
Ana is standing infront of door ringing the door bell, ana landed yesterday noon. After returning from New York, she went to her parent's home Khanna Mansion. Evening she went to visit her father and aunt cemetery. She shared them her new life, projects and spend time chatting with them.
Yesterday night she answered Shruthi call normally, when she finds ana was here she ask ana come to her home. Now she was waiting infront of Shruthi house.
Shruthi open the door seeing ana she excitingly hugs ana " Ana, long time no see" " I never thought I can see you again this fast" she said welcoming her into the house. She made ana to sit and sat beside her, " How are you?"
" I am fine, what about you?" ana replied
" I am fine" the chat starts ask about business and run into personal questions.
" Why are you here ?" Shruthi asked. Ana replied " Family related, my brother called me day before yesterday and says want to meet me."
"Your family?" Shruthi gasped " Why you should meet him , he never cared about you before . Not even once he asked you how you were, helped you with your family issues. He let you suffer, why should you meet him?" even though she doesn't know much about her family but she knows how ruthless and cruel they are.
" It was not his mistake ; he was small and don't know anything about it" ana explains " I remember he always try to be with me, pleaded my mother to take me with them but no one hears him. Now he wants to meet me how can I turn him down him."
" I want to see how he was after these years, I met him last was on my eighteenth birthday, my last visit to India, I didn't see him. I used to love him so much before any how he is my brother ." ana says sharing her time with her brother.
" How is your life?" Shruthi asks seeing ana expression to change where it leads to " good"
" Do you have any boyfriends or lover" Shruthi ask an eyeing her every expression. Ana was struggling to say or not, but it was her friend.
" You are hesitating that mean you have one, tell me who he is?" she came closer exciting " the one who bring last time."
Ana has a surprised look, " Do I am that easy to be read by others?" questions herself, Shruthi replied " No, you are not. I am good at reading you because we are more than a family."
" When he was here last time, I know he is perfect for you" she starts to ask " Do you both go well?" Shruthi ask how is her relationship. How he treats her. while they are chatting ana explained her latest rumour about her and alex. She even showed how the public responded.
" Don't take it to your heart" She side hugs ana and encourage her. just they were chatting Shruthi children and her husband comes from Market.
Sandeep greeted her when he saw her and went to change , her children sat beside Shruthi.
Sandeep sat on the sofa and asked " Do you give her the sweet?"
" I forgot" she stood up and went to bring . Sandeep ask ana about alex. " Did you inform alex before you come?"
Ana says " No, why do you ask?"
" He will never allow you alone, if he know that you visit here." He continues seeing ana doubt face. " Because he was protective, He cares about you, how can he send you alone to your family knowing that they will harm you."
" He was busy, I don't want to hide it ,we didn't talk with each other for five days." Ana explains because they may think she was still hiding something from others. Ana hears her phone sounds " Ding" it was a notification of low battery. When she was about to close, her fingers open her chat with alex, to see whether he send her any message, when he was online last time. It shows last seen was five days ago.
While they were talking randomly, Shruthi bought kheer and hand over to ana, her husband and then to her children. After having children got down from sofa, when they get down, they pulled ana dupatta.
Actually, ana dress in a chudidar, knee length top and matching pant and dupatta. When Shruthi helping her children to get down she saw necklace around Ana's neck. She was stunned, after recovering from her shock her first question with a surprise face " When are you married?"
Ana immediately covers it with dupatta, Sandeep also shock to hear his wife words " What?"
Shruthi moves towards ana and pulled her dupatta and shows the nuptial chain to Sandeep. They both poured question one after another.
" When did you get married ana?"
" How come we don't know?"
" Who is he?"
" Are you bullied or forced?"
" It was alex or others?"
" When did it happen?"
" How can you not invite us?"
Closing her ears " Stop it?" she shouts but Shruthi ask with high voice " what is this? We are friends ana , how can you do it to us? how can you marry without informing us? ok if you not invite us but at least you should inform us after you are married "
" If you stop, I will reply" ana want to say alex first then reveal it but now it was seen she can't stop them.
" Even I don't know" ana replied to shruti and Sandeep.
" What do you mean?" both ask in union.
" Actually, I don't know I was getting married suddenly" Ana replied .
" Who is it?" Shruthi asked .
" Alex" ana replied, " What? How can he force you? I thought he was good but he was ...." Ana stopped her " if you give me time to speak, I will explain clearly" both were silenced.
" On the day of Sanj marriage, alex and I were behind them. He said he have a gift to present who knows he will tie me a knot "
" What??" another shocking expression.
" Did he know what is the meaning of it" Shruthi asked ana. Shruthi continues " Did he know if a man put nuptial chain around a woman, then they are married, it was a symbol of marriage."
Ana shook her head in no, " Then do you agree that marriage? " Deepu ask.
" I thought about it, even he tied without my concern but it was still a marriage." Ana face Shruthi " you know how much I believe in our tradition and culture."
Shruthi interrupts " But it was not correct, did he propose you , Engagement procedure , ceremonies before marriage and after marriage. Marriage is not a child play. There were no mantras, no promises , how can you accept it and main did he love you all life or leave you middle. Is he reliable? "
" When I return back, I also thought about it, I always want to marry a person who loves me and who I love. Even we don't arrange any ceremony for marriage but everything was done in our life without our concern."
" First proposing, he didn't propose me but when we played a game his task was to propose each other. I consider it as he proposed me, after that we exchange rings. It was an engagement." Ana points out the ring on her finger.
"About other ceremonies consider Sangeet , Mehandi and haldi , Sanj marriage ceremonies are mine. And at putting nuptial chain was exact time when nick tie knot to Sanj. It was done same as a normal marriage."
Deepu said " You convinced yourself like it was your marriage, ana"
Shruthi ask " what about promises?"
" He doesn't need it; he will protect me even without promising and he is a reliable person whom I can trust more than myself. "
" Did you tell him that you both are married ?" deepu questioned .
" No, I didn't . we are from different worlds deepu. I am not correct to him right now."
" That means you will not say to alex" Shruthi interrupt.
" I will, but not now." " Then when" he asks.
" I improve myself and create my own name in the business industry and then reveal it to him. I will become the best one to him without any rumors."
" That's why you start to take up big projects , right" Ana nodded
" It will take long time" Deepu worried that it may take long time. .
" Yes, I ask one year time and our relation is secret. If public knows about it, they think I am also a gold digger and I am after his money"
" Will alex accept you as his wife?" Shruthi ask with doubt.
" I think he will " ana replied confident. " What if no?"
" He will accept"
" But you are hiding things from him, ana" deepu suggesting ana.
" I know " I mummer.
" Ana, before you reveal just check his mood, confirm that he accepts it. If he did not accept you as his wife then just say, you just joked with him and leave him. I will suggest you many friends here." Shruthi said to ease ana tension and open photos showing others photo. " See him, do you like it? I will share your number you can keep back up" she teases ana.
" I forgot, all ceremonies are done" Shruthi raises her eyebrows and ask with interest " What about your honeymoon ?"
" What?" ana shock and then turn her head away.
" Ana, don't play dumb. After marriage couple consummate their marriage on first night and go on honeymoon. " She asks ana.
"Stop it" Ana said with a shy voice, " You don't go on honeymoon but did you consummate your marriage." She asks ana without shy, " I hear that people in relation can also do those things. Did you, do it?"
"Stop it Shruthi. If you don't drop the topic now, I am going to leave." She pulled ana back . " I will stop now". Ana turns to deepu and complains " she became shameless "
" I feel sorry for alex" Shruthi speak, ana put a doubt face. " Every couple can have honey moon but for alex he was married but cannot touch his wife what a bad luck? He had a beautiful wife but he can't do anything. I really pity him"
Ana throws the pillow on the sofa; they both had a small pillow fight. After chatting for awhile ana had lunch with them and spend time with them. They both went on shopping and bought gifts for her friends. Ana phone was off due to battery, she didn't mind it. At night ana went to her house and charge her phone. After the bath she switch on the phone and went to drink some water. she was so tired that without checking her phone she slept.
Next Day:
Ana went to meet her brother, by the time she reaches her brother was already in the restaurant waiting for her. she finds him easily because they met at her family restaurant.
Her brother sat at their favorite place; she slowly walks towards her brother. Each step she took , she can hear her heart beat. Ana was afraid that how will he be, she doesn't have any family member even her mother is against her.
She doesn't know how her brother treat her. hearing the footsteps, the man in blue t-shirt stood up and saw ana coming. Before she speaks.
He ran towards her and hugged her tightly. " I miss you sis" tears ran from Ana's eyes. she comforts him and sat down in their place. They both face each other .
She hide her emotions " How are you Adi?"
" I am fine sis, i never thought i can meet you again." He hold her hand and says "Sis, how can you leave me hear alone. If you want to leave, you can take me with you"
" You don't understand my situation then " Ana remember she was abandoned by her biological mother, she has him in her eyes. she was useless and a burden to them. while he living a comfort life , she had to go all alone. how can she drag him into her life and make him suffer has her. But the point she hurt was her mother never loved her.
" Let bygones be bygone" ana cut the past and ask him what he was doing? her brother said everything he goes in the past few years. he also explains that he was in another state for education when ana visit last time. After he learn his sister is back he tried all ways to get her number.
The chat came to an end and her brother says with determination " Sis, i am incompetent before to protect you, but now I promise you that i will always protect you."
