Alex's POV:
I wake up at 9:00 AM. I barely slept last night due to that little girl. How dare she push me and give me lecture. I throw her thoughts away from brain and get ready for the meeting at Restaurant.
I have meeting with Mr. Rusello who runs cloth textiles at 10:00AM. It is one of the biggest textile industry. I have bought some shares in it last year. To know the profit and loss and new business deal they are doing right now. After discussion I am having meeting with the new designer recommended by my sis. I already told her if I don't satisfy, I can't give her that project. She is happy and full confident about it. I don't know what make her that much confident about Ms. Khanna. Before going to company I want to have some black coffee so I stopped near café to my company.
Every time Wilson my driver/bodyguard/PI will bring but this time I want to get my coffee. So I myself went to café to buy black coffee. All girls are drooling over me. I know I have this effect on girls in public. When I am going towards counter all the people give side to me, when I was at the end of the line someone slapped me, a girl slapped me. This happens in fraction of seconds, I saw the girl who slapped me is none other than the girl push me yesterday at club.
She have any problem whenever I see her she did some stupid things that raise my ego and angry. She said sorry and left before I could take any action. No one watch what happened. I am grateful for that, if they watch what about my prestige and popularity. I have to find that girl and teach her a lesson how to behave.
I left the café and went to my company for meeting with designer. I entered king pvt lmtd and as expected the people at the building become quiet as I step in. "Good Morning. Mr. king" a blonde girl with flirty eyes greets me. She's in the reception area. I didn't reply her, I will always be like this, for that sake I got new names like "Rude, Arrogant etc...,". I met head of financial department and entered the public lift. I usually go in private lift but today it is in repair. So I have to take this. When doors was about to close Jake told "sir one girl is coming can I open the door for her." I nodded while typing on my phone. Girl entered and thanked him, by hearing her voice I raise my head to see same girl again in my company. I saw her checking the surroundings and shocked to see me. Then she asked "By the chance you work here?". I was about to reply lift open I went out. What the nerve she had, she entered my company and asking me weather I work here. I have to know why that girl here. To whom she meet in my company. I talked to my company designers and checked the files and moved to Conference Hall in 58 floor. My secretary wished me and told that Ms. Khanna is here.
All the members are here for the meeting when I reached the hall is dark, all lights are off. I said "start the presentation Ms. Khanna" when the lights of projector on, I was shocked to see the same girl here. That means her name is Ms. Khanna Wow that is a surprise. She came to meet me and she don't know whom I am. That's great. She looks and sounds perfectly in professional attire.
First she introduced herself and start to explain her designs. They are unique and looks simple for local decorations. Now I understand why my sis force me to this. She even talks perfectly in professional manner without any hesitation and explaining confidently.
Even famous designers are nervous and frightened when they present before me, but she is not at all worried and frightened.
I like the way she present, she may not that famous but her work was excellent. Some members raised queries, without hesitation and nervous she replied them confidently. Then lights are on, by seeing me she was shocked.
I like the expression on her face, I discussed with my designers and I said "I will give you this project" she replied in shock "what"
Then I replied "I said that you work with us in this project" she replied thanks, I said we talk remaining in my office and moved from the hall. I went to my office and thinks what will be her reaction .
I sat in my chair, checking the files that are required now. When I was typing on my lappy ,I here knock sound i said 'come in' . I saw she checking me and entered the office and stand few feet away from me to recognise her.
"Good Afternoon Ms. Khanna" I stated and looked up and I see her eyes that disturbed complete night. She greeted me. Then I was about to talk she replied I was shock she said sorry and she don't know me who I am. She came here for presentation she didn't even search anything about the company.
She said sorry for her behaviour yesterday and also explained what happened at café. I was surprised by her feisty nature.
She rejected my offer that surprised me more. No one can reject my offer. She was thinking her talent was low, but she is very much talented and think differently that is the reason I want to work with her in this project. When she was about to leave, I replied "I want to talk to you for a while. Ms. Khanna" in business tone .
I said to take her seat, she sat then I start my talk "I want to talk about project . First question "from where did I find out you" you are recommended by my sis Mrs. Fiona Carter. She liked your decoration at her pent house. so when I decided to renovate the building she suggested me .
Next question "About famous designer and you work at local" no one is famous at the beginning until they get the chance to show it. you have done work for small and local areas but you have good talent that I require. If you don't have talent then I never give you my dream project to you.
Next "To give offer" they are famous designers in my company , if I require I can get world famous designers but I require different and new ideology in my designs. If I didn't know about you then I go with my designers, but I find you now the talent that I require are present in your skills. Then there is any problem if I offer you this project." I continued " I think this job is suitable for you"
"and professional life I never mend personal" "for your previous behaviour and slap, I think about that later. what you have to do gain my forgiveness" I said.
Then she think for a while and replied " I never want to work under any company. For that sake only I started my own designing" I was shocked she didn't want to work under any company so I asked "why ? you have any reasons for that"
she replied "I don't like any one command me and show bossy on me". " i don't command you because you are not my worker but I will be strict in my work if any late in work or clumsy in my work I will not spare it" I replied.
"May I ask some questions to clarify my doubts" she asked "you can" I replied.
"Can I have my batch work with me here. They are nearly 9 members we all do work by group and for that I need separate cabin if you can't we can arrange it in my office and give daily progress through mail" she asked.
"its okay to have your group here. I will provide separate cabin for group and also individually to you and them. I think it is better to work in my company that we can have good talk about it and design." I replied .
"It is great honour to work with you Mr. King" She said by shaking her hand with me. I replied "we can talk about contract and payment tomorrow then we can start our work."
"Be here at 11:00, we can discuss about project" I said and then she leaved after thanking me.
I was impressed by her nature and confidence she had on herself. After that I continued my remaining work and leave the company night at 9:00 PM. When I was leaving the office, I ask Wilson about to find details about Ms. Khanna.
He handed me a blue folder about Ms. Khanna information.
NAME: Ananya Khanna
Age: 25
Born: India
Education: Batchelor degree and masters in interior designing
Works: Runs Khanna interior designing and Khanna family Restaurant and hotel.
And some details of her work and previous clients. That is great to know she has large number of customers. But all are in local and with small budgets.
Now present she working on nearly 5 projects on houses and 2 hotels.
I want to know about her because she is one of my employee now I can't take risk on it. But my mind told other thing "that you want to know more about her because you are interested in her" I slap that thought from my mind. Then I reach my pent house do my routine work and went to my study room to complete my work.
Ana's pov:
I was shocked to know that fin is his sister. She recommended me but he give this offer based on my skills. So I accepted his offer and I asked my doubts regarding my team. I thanked him and leave the place.
I reached my designing office and told them about the King's project. They all are shocked, they composed themselves and replied congrats to me.
I told "you are all also working in this project with me" they all exclaimed with happiness.
I am also happy for them. They all are friends to me from last 2 years. Some of them get offers get from big companies but they just reject it because they are happy working with me.
We discuss about remaining work about designs and other projects. Then they all leave at 6:00PM. I leave at 7:00 and went to restaurant to check about it. I went to home at 10:00 and sat on the couch.
Jen entered from kitchen asking " Hi Busy Day" she sat beside me I replied "yes , we get offer from a big company. Today I gave presentation, they like it and want to work with our designers".
Jen said "congrats" and teased me that "you are becoming famous" "Ha ha .." "just stop it jen you know I don't like work under companies but he said he don't command me. So I agreed to the project" I replied.
After chatting for few minutes about today work and eat dinner and went to sleep. I thought about tomorrow working plan. First I will check restaurant and then go to king's company. After that I check on remaining projects.
