Theo quietly held Ellinor and carried her into the car. She then fell into a deep sleep.

Theo's tall figure stood outside the interrogation room, waiting for the police's verdict.

Theo gently pushed Veronica away and came over to them, bending over respectfully. âI'm sorry,
Grandpa and Grandma. I've made you worried.â

Theo smiled. He felt relieved and, after a few moments, spoke to Veronica again. âTake Grandpa and
Grandma to sit over there for a while. I still have some things to deal with.â Veronica immediately
nodded and took her grandparents to the waiting area on the other side of the police station.
Just as Theo turned around and was about to walk down the corridor, a woman suddenly hugged
him from behind.
âTheo, thank God! You're okay! I was scared to death.â
Sophia rushed to the police station as soon as she got the news.
Theo's face was cold, and he gently removed Sophia's hands from him. âThank you for your concern.
I'm okay.â
After being pushed away, Sophia didnt cling to him again but moved to Theo's front, checking him
from head to toe, and only relaxed after confirming that he wasn't hurt.
