Chapter 1344
Sophia lost it. âFriends? I'm a woman, and I'm attractive with a good figure, so why would you only
see me as a friend? How could there only be pure friendship between a man and a woman?â
Theo clearly had enough. He covered Ellinorâs ears with his large hands and coldly said to Sophia,
âYou're out of it right now. Don't make a scene here.â
Sophia got even more emotional. âI just want you to see me as a woman; is that so hard?â
Theo totally lost his patience. âEnough! Anyone here? Ms. Sophia is drunk; get her back to the hotel
to rest!â
The servants that came with Marissa and Putnam heard the order. âMs. Sophia, please come with
us.â
Sophia didn't want to leave.
âI didn't drink, not even a bit. I'm not leaving!"
The two servants looked at Theo for instructions, and they then forcibly dragged Sophia out of the
police station.
Sophia was furious. While struggling, she yelled, âTheo! You can't treat me like this; you'll regret it!"
Theo didn't flinch.
After Sophia was taken away, the surroundings became quiet.
Ellinor raised her head, puzzled. âIs she really Thaddeusâ daughter?â
Theo replied affirmatively. âDonât worry about it.â
Ellinor finally understood why Sophia was so aggressive. She was Thaddeusâ daughter.
Thaddeus was the founder of an organization called Thaddeus International Corporation, named
after himself.
It was said that Thaddeus came from poverty. He established Thaddeus International Corporation
through his own efforts and spread his subsidiaries all over the world. Although, on the surface, his
business activities seemed legitimate, he was actually involved in many illegal activities behind the
scenes, causing him to have a huge global influence.
Why would Theo bring in Sophia with such a complex background to deal with Putnam?
Ellinor was a bit puzzled. She was just about to ask when a panting Veronica interrupted her.
âEllinor! The coffeeâs here!â
Veronica came running back, looking all sweaty. She handed the cup of coffee in her hand to
Ellinor.
Ellinor was about to take the coffee, but then Theo's large hand had already taken it.
He held the cup to feel the temperature. He confirmed that it wasn't too cold, then put a straw in it
and handed it to her mouth.
Ellinor didn't like to be fed. She took the coffee herself, then took a big sip.
Theo looked at her indifferently. âSlow down. Nobody's gonna steal it from you.â
Ellinor didn't pay attention to him. She felt a bit tired while standing, so she walked over to the rest
area of the police station lobby, planning to find a place to sit down and slowly drink the coffee.
She walked to the rest area with her coffee, where she saw Marissa and Putnam.
She politely bowed to them. âPutnam Blanchet, Marissa Blanchet, long time no see.â
Marissa watched Ellinor act so cute and couldn't help but remember how much she missed her,
loved her, and felt sorry for her. She asked, âEllinor, are you okay?â Ellinor nodded and replied, âI'm
fine.â
