Chapter 1747
The chubby boy not only refused to comfort the crying girl; he even snatched her hair clip and
tossed it on the ground, laughing uproariously as he did so.
Her tears only intensified, and seeing this, Baber, who had been quietly reading a storybook up
front, stepped in. He reprimanded the chubby kid, commanding him to pick up the butterfly hair
clip and return it to the girl.
The chubby boy, however, ignored Baber. He even went as far as to mock him with grotesque faces.
Angry now, Baber warned him that if he didn't pick up the butterfly hair clip and return it to the girl,
he would call the teacher in.
âYou wouldn't dare!â The chubby boy challenged him. âIf you rat me out, I'll smash your face in!"
And with that, he menacingly grabbed Baber's collar and raised his fist.
Baber looked serious. He was clearly trying to control his temper. He took a deep breath and called
out for the teacher.
In an attempt to silence him, the chubby boy swung a fist at Baber's face.
Baber, however, dodged the attack and even pushed him away with force.
The chubby boy, unsteady due to his size, stumbled and fell, hitting his leg against the table. In pain,
he gritted his teeth and got up, still determined to fight. He swung his fist at Baber again, but Baber
continued to dodge his attacks, refusing to fight back.
After several missed punches and kicks, the chubby boy ended up hurting himself more. He even
fell and cut his forehead. His ridiculous fury had the whole class roaring with laughter, which only
served to intensify his rage.
In his embarrassment, he turned his anger back onto the crying girl, roughly pulling her braids and
making her scream.
It was at this point that Baber could no longer stand by. He tried to intervene, but the chubby boy
took advantage of the situation and swung at Baber once more. Still, he missed, and in his
frustration, he resorted to hurling insults.
"You're nothing but an orphan! Everyone in here knows it! You've got no one who wants you!â He
taunted.
Baber was taken aback for a moment before he lost control and swung back at the chubby boy.
It didn't take long for the teacher to hear the commotion and return to find Baber on top of the
chubby boy with his fists flying.
The teacher quickly separated the boys, and the video ended.
As they watched the footage, the parentsâ expressions shifted from self-righteous anger to a mix of
embarrassment and confusion.
The chubby boy, cradled in his parentsâ arms, avoided eye contact. Guilt was written all over his
face.
Ellinor watched with a complicated expression, especially at the part where her son was called an
orphan.
âDirector.â She said as she turned to face her. âNow that you've seen the truth, do you still think my
son should apologize? Shouldn't you, as the director, have viewed the surveillance footage before
taking sides?â
The director looked sheepish. âI... I apologize, Madam. I was too hasty.â
She was about to respond when the chubby boy's father interrupted, âIt's clear from the video that
your son was the first to hit my boy. How is that not starting the fight?â
His wife, though not as confident as before, still chimed in, âExactly! Your son was the first to land a
punch!â
Ellinor couldn't help but laugh. âLike father, like son. When your son was bullying a girl, were you
conveniently blind?â
