Chapter 1833

Did he have no shame?

He truly left Ellinor speechless.

Veronica and Moran were taken aback for a moment and then nodded to each other in silent

agreement.

Then they watched as Theo, in an assertive manner, carried Ellinor upstairs.

Ellinor was, of course, reluctant, but she gave up struggling. From what she knew about this man,

the more she struggled, the more embarrassing it would probably get.

She couldn't predict what this man might do next, so she decided to let it go..

After watching her brother and Ellinor disappear upstairs, Veronica broke down in tears again. Her

brother was truly back.

Thank goodness!

At that moment, a tissue was handed to her. “Come on, wipe your tears. Your makeup’s all

smudged.”

After coming back to her senses, Veronica looked at Moran. She pouted and looked wronged. “Ah..

My brother is disgusted with me. You're not going to be disgusted with me too, are you?”

Moran couldn't help but laugh at her antics.

Afraid she would overthink, he moved closer and wiped her tears for her. “Silly! How could I ever be

disgusted with you?”

Veronica blushed and took the tissue to wipe her own tears. “Then stop staring at me. My makeup is

smudged, and I look hideous.”

Moran chuckled. “No, you look adorable. Like a little kitten.”

Veronica's face turned even redder. “Stop teasing me! Ahem, by the way, what were you and my

brother talking about earlier? Did he say how he came back?"

Moran shook his head. “He didn’t explain much. I just expressed my feelings for you to your

brother.”

Veronica blinked. “You... What did you say?”

Moran took her face in his hands. “I told him I'm serious about you and that I want a future with

you.”

Veronica's eyes flickered. “What did my brother say?”

Moran looked a bit vexed. “Well... he didn't seem too pleased with me. He didn't say much.”

Veronica wrapped her arms around Moran's neck and rested her head on his shoulder. “It doesn't

matter! My brother doesn't get the final say; Ellinor does.”

Moran smiled. “Ellinor said the same thing earlier, so I'm not worried anymore. I was afraid your

family wouldn't approve.”

Veronica tightened her grip around Moran's neck. “Even if they don't agree, I'm still going to marry

you! But with Ellinor around, they can't really object, especially my brother. He's a total softie

around her.”

Softie?

Moran looked surprised. “I didn't quite get that impression earlier.”

“You'll understand once you get to know him better. He might seem tough on the outside, but in

front of Ellinor, he’s like putty. She can make him do anything.” Moran laughed. “Well, that's good

then.”

Upstairs, Theo carried Ellinor straight into a guest room.

Their bedroom was currently occupied by four children playing around, so it wasn't really

appropriate for certain activities

As soon as she was laid down on the bed, Ellinor felt a wave of warmth enveloping her. She was

under the man’s shadow, and their eyes were locked onto each other. “What are you planning to do

to me in broad daylight?”

Theo wasn't in a rush, and he just pecked her on the cheek. “What do you think? Don’t you know

what I want to do?”

Ellinor frowned. “Stop it! We have dinner soon. Grandma and Grandpa are waiting for us. It's not

right.”

Theo couldn't help but laugh at her. “So, little miss, you're quite confident about my endurance,

aren't you? You think I can't finish before dinner time, huh?”
