they'd been eagerly speculating about the mysterious Ms. Tanner. Could she be the boss's fiancée?

No one else had ever received such welcome. The moment they saw Ms. Tanner, they all nodded to

themselves in understanding

Regina shook her head, “Lucy, I haven't even greeted your boss — isn't it improper for me to wait

here? Maybe you could tell him I've changed my mind about the visit.”

“Ms. Tanner, please don't worry. Since your last visit, our boss has made it clear that you wouldn't

need any prior announcement. It's just that his guest today is also somewhat special, so you might

have to wait a little longer.”
