Chapter 104

Raijin POV

I whipped my head towards the falling trees, a gigantic pale ogre coming towards all of us, lava horns on its head while the other creatures behind it had all shapes and sizes. A wolf with magma teeth that was drooling lava, a humanoid with bird lava phoenix like wings, a hooded figure that had spikes and curved lava blades all around it's void body.

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" Those are... Demons! Chaos demons! What the hell, is she the one who made the demon war come quicker than it should have been?! Fuck it, fine you won! You destroyed the fucking game! But for what, for what?! I don't see myself changing, this whole plan is fucking insane!

Steam came out of my skin, sweat turning into mist.

The ogre picked up the two masked girls along with the shrine maiden, placing it on top of his head. Her cheshire smile filled her bratty face.

"Ara ara... This surely is interesting..." "D-demons..?"

"Fuck this shit! I can't anymore! How the hell are you even able to do this?!"

"U-uh... Oh-" "Tch. What is this about, Alien?"

"I-I-... Onee-sama do you... Think we can deal with them...?" "What... In the world is that...?"

"I know everyone is suuuuuuuper surprised, but I'm the gifted child of darkness, demons are just my friends. Give me that girl and I will spare everyone here, and I'll give you the shrine maiden too!" She gestured her hand towards Yasachu, smirking and snickered. "All I want is the world, so I can finally end this prison of red strings."

"You want to kill Yasachu?! But what for, what has she done to you?! To do everything in this extreme?! You do understand if you do this, you'll get executed no matter what!" Shukona yelled, a bead of sweat going down her chin.

"Bleh, doesn't matter! She made me stuck in this world, in this form, the fact I'm being forced to love someone who's nothing more than a placeholder disgusts me!" She stood up, snapping her fingers to signal the other demons to rush forward. "I never wanted to do this, but I knew from the start talking wouldn't work. You all are just being clouded by that girl, don't you understand?! Everyone is in a spell, that curse of mine was just breaking everyone free!" Her yells distorted her face, spit and sweat flying outward.

"This bitch-" The fact that she holds this much power makes me wonder what her role in this world is, the demon lord? No, that didn't exist in the story... Wait- No, there was someone who was like that in the game! It wasn't a demon lord, but it was repeated so many times in the war arc that everyone speculated she was one of the unknown capture targets!

The hooded blade man dashed, I lowered myself to the ground and jumped towards him being boosted by my flames. A large lava scythe replaced his hand, reeling it to the side and slashed me with it. I grabbed the blade before it hit my body, the heat of it scorched my sleeves and flesh.

"Fire? Asshole, that's my element!" I screamed, a spark from my roar was created in my collar and set fire to half of my shirt. The curved metal flitched, and I let go of it, spun my body to pound my feet into his head. My rage rivaling his heat, he bashed his blade towards my shoulder but before he could reach it, I took a side step and leapt into his back.

Curved air blades pummeled the front of the hooded figure, a sword's blade parting the flames around us, I smirked. Yet spikes pierced my thighs, coming from the demon. Upon noticing it, I plummited myself above, kicking him down and making them stagger in the process. The knight's blade arched up, slicing his throat and chin. The loss of blood made my vision blurry, creating a burst of flames to land softly on the ground. Damn it! What the fuck?! I can't move my legs or hands!

"Saboten! Avoid the blades, you'll get paralyzed!"

"Understood."

Raining of lights, the arrows landed on the back of the hooded demon while he blocked Saboten's curved strikes with his giant axe for an arm. I looked up, the glare of that tiny girl made me scoff, she gripped her bow and continued to open fire. The lava winged woman came soaring towards Yasachu and Nikami. I panicked for a moment, before she took off her glove and raised her palm calmly in front of the woman before ice was flown in her face. Spiking her wings and froze multiple parts of her body at once, ahaha, seriously why would I get worried about the girl who has the most mana out of the three of us?

"Don't be so lovestruck on the battlefield, Prince Raijin, did your instructor ever tell you that?" The flames slowed, being replaced with mist while a finger tapped me on the cheek. I whipped my head to yell at her, yet the first thing I saw was fogged up glasses, the pain in my legs disappearing. The mage had her trusty floating book on hand, being held up by Shoubu that extinguished my flames with the water she glided around on the ground with.

"A-ah my glasses-"

"You don't even need that, why don't you take it off, dear?"

"S-stop testing me." She scolded the princess as she wiped off the vapor, Shoubu didn't do anything other than chuckle and spun with the water splashing around her feet. Kikyou adjusted her body on the princess's arm and stared at the werewolf that was exploding water that her partner placed. She lifted both of her palms towards it, clapped once and the ground trailed up the werewolf within seconds, trapped it in place while metal plates crushed it, with another layer of solidified air keeping the demon compact. Shoubu flicked her finger up and a large spiked ice pillar erected from the ground, the tip of the shining crystal was the head of the werewolf demon. Decapitated and created a rushing bloodstream down.

"Holy fuck." These two are fucking overkill! How the fuck did she even cut that guys head off?! Don't tell me, she sucked in the body inside that dome of elements and Shoubu dealt the final blow? What the absolute fuck are these monsters? "Ahaha... Fuck, you two really are my senpai's..."

I stood up, "Switch, please!" And almost immediately vines took my legs and shot me up in the sky, getting a glance at the tattered staggering knight that was barely holding on to her clumsy moves.

"Raijin!" Shukona shot the knight away from the bladed man using the earth to boost her up, then created a large metal rod in front of me surrounded by highly flammable tree bark. I glanced at her, nodding while she gave a soft smile in response, catching the unmoving Saboten and retreating her to Kikyou for healing. The vines reeled in, readying myself for impact and peeked over at Nikami, getting in close counters with the bird woman along with Yasachu.

"Senpai! Nika and Yasachu are in trouble!" It seems that Shukona has that covered, so I took in a deep breath and after the magnum opus that me and Shu created was finished, the vines whipped me towards the large cylinder of bark that completely covered the metal inside. I grabbed the heavy tree trunk and sped down to the hooded demon that was trying to whip Shukona with it's bladed spine, yet she didn't even get a scratch with her noble agility and complete control over her balance. I was accelerating, speed intensifying each second, with a tight grip, I completely set fire on the tree trunk, it was enough to burn almost all of the fabric in my body and shined light on everyone around us. But as quickly as it set fire, I condensed into the metal rod that became a bluish white spear,

"[BOLT OF THE SUN'S FURY]!" I used my aching arm to reel in the attack and shot it at the demon that didn't even get to look up at it before it was pinned to the ground with our spear, choking out blood. A huge crater was created in its wake, flaming the surrounding land.

If ya fuckin think we didn't have a combined attack too, you'd be gotdamn wrong! But, this is far stronger than what I'm used to, did my [Wrath] skill amplify it? Can my body even handle this shit? Fuck! Whatever! Doesn't matter!

I landed on the hilt, further piercing it into his body while the heat completely charred my shoes. His body scorched by the first impact, and now with me worsening it, his body completely melted. The smell of burning flesh overflowed my senses, choking on the vile scent. My cough worsened, the world twirling around and I almost stepped on what was left of that revolting demon. A gentle earth arm lifted me up, biting my lip to avoid puking out. From what's left of my clear view, Nikami and Shoubu teamed up on the bird demon, Yasachu and Kikyou running over towards the giant demon.

That masked woman... That's Despoina the preserved one. She was the cause of the releasing of the demon seal that kept them away from our world. Because she was gifted by the fairy king of darkness, everyone shunned her, and that her life was either misery or boredom. So with a self fulfilling prophecy, she was done with everyone's shit and actually made a war.

Is this girl really Despoina?! Then fuck, now I know why she's this powerful... Damn it, why was she the one who got reincarnated out of everyone...? What a mess...

Green shined on me, caressed my cheek, laid me on the ground and said, "What's wrong? Are you okay?"

"I-I'm fine just...A little... Ack-" Shukona immediately understood what I needed, ruffled around her pockets and took out a small vial. "Stomach ache? I didn't go near it, but the corrupted ashes still made my head reel." She delicately opened my mouth, placed in the liquid. I swallowed it, chest rising up and down.

"Yeah... Shit's disguisting... My body can't move..." I grumbled, panting. Along with that attack and the drawbacks of [Wrath] I knew that my body can't handle this much shit thrown at it at once. "Your clothing is all destroyed too, wait, why do you have bandages around your chest? You know if you're hurt you could have just asked Kiyu-sam-" Before she could finish her sentence, I folded my hands to cover my chest, heart pacing while my irises went erratic.

"I'M FINE!!"

WHAT THE FUCK I FORGOT MY CLOTHES WERE LITERALLY DESTROYED BY THAT ATTACK-

"Why are you covering your chest? There isn't anything there." YEAH THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK!

"I-I'm just shy, okay?!"

"Okay...?" Shukona raised her eyebrow, tilted her head then flipped her head up. "An-anyway! What's happening with them?!"

"Rabadena-sama seems like she's talking to her again, Nika looks so pissed." Shukona let out a laugh, before I countered "Actually, that isn't Nika. That's uhh, how should I explain this...? The curse, she calls herself Shirmoru. They uh... They're working together." It's hard to explain it to Shukona without sounding weird, I can't explain it to her with the game and reincarnated shit, it's going to sound crazy, just like that girl.

"They can talk to each other? Thank god... Unlike me, I just suddenly can't control my emotions and it's quite irritating..." Shukona bit her lip, glaring at the side while she patted my head. "I'll stay here until they need me, you're out of the battle now since you pushed yourself a little too hard... What were you trying? Showing off? You know you didn't have to be that flashy." She flicked my forehead as a warning, I groaned in pain as a response. "Li-listen! Our senpai's are so fucking cool, I want to show off too!"

"Cool?! Ugh, you dolt, you should have used that for the ogre."

The ground shook, Shukona's body swayed to its side and glared over at the direction of the ogre. I copied her action, the huge demon had smoke coming out of its nose. The bird demon was on the ground, Yasachu flew multiple arrows at the huge demon, Kikyou chanting a large spell while shadow arms attacked Nikami and Shoubu that defended the two. The shadows were fairly weak, it being the afternoon.

"Ding ding! Time out! You guys took too much time didn't you? There's a reason why I chose Ajisa, and it's not only because she's a light user and she can be used against me..." The masked woman lifted her arm, the gloves that she had on started glowing and created light magic despite Ajisa being knocked out.

"Last chance, give me that girl."

"What the fuck...?"
