Chapter 64
FutsuYuri: I Wanted To Reincarnate Normally!! Not In This Yuri Game!!
Nikami POV
"Well well! You actually already laid out the pieces for me! Reaaally! I'm so thankful for you! So my dearest Silent Reading Ice Queen is going to kill the world with me!"
I woke up, that masked girl's words echoing in my head as I felt my body extremely sore, groaning as I opened my eyes and saw a familiar ceiling. Ah, the infirmary.
"GET THIS THING OFF ME!! GET OUT OF MY WAY GOTDAMN IT!!! I WANT TO SEE HER!!" A familiar yell could be heard from the outside, and I mentally groaned.
"Why is she always so loudâ¦" I mumbled, sitting up as I saw a white ahoge on my lap⦠Yasachu?
She seemed to be sitting down and was sleeping on the bed, now slowly rising and rubbing her eyes.
"Ngh" She made a noise, seeing my face and immediately sat straight up. Yasachu was wearing a hospital gown, with bandages around her neck and arm.
"SHIROMORU-SAMA!!" Yasachu yelled out, flinging towards me and embracing me.
"IWASSOWORRIEDWHENYOUFAINTEDBECAUSEOFYOURBLOODLOSS!!" She yelled out, talking in a fast tone as she hugged me with a bone crushing embrace.
"K-kuh⦠Yasachu, you're hurting me⦠Calm down and talk properly... " How does such a small girl have so much strength?
"O-omigosh I am so sorry-" She immediately stepped back, promptly knelt down and made her head touch the floor.
"I'M SO SORRY FOR HUGGING YOU LIKE THAT!!! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!" She yelled out once more, and I simply covered my ears.
"Why is everyone yelling today" I thought to myself, sighing.
"I don't care about that, sit back down." I dismissed what she said and sighed once again.
I'm used to people bowing down to me, but I never thought she would do a degoza just because she hugged me.
"Enough of that. I just want to know what happened right after I fainted." I looked down at myself, my arms and torso filled with bandages, however, they seem to only have a few injuries despite what happened to me.
"As expected of a magic school, of course they have healers." I thought, standing up and stretching myself. I felt extremely tired, my body felt like sludge, but I didn't care, I needed to know what happened and to greet the yelling prince out of this room.
"O-of course I'll tell you, Shiromoru-sama!" She quickly sprang up, having another bright smile on her face and sat down like I told her to.
"Right after you fainted, I kinda freaked out and my body started to flicker light⦠I heard knights coming over because of it just 5 minutes later. After that, we were both rescued." She started to tell me the story, I nodded towards her and started to walk outside the door, seeing two knights beside it.
"A-and then! They made us go here and some healers healed us, but some of our injuries couldn't be healed by their magic because of some spell, it seemed to heal naturally though so that's good!" She followed me as she continued, then looked over at the knights.
"And what's with them?" I asked her, staring over at the knights.
"People aren't really allowed to come in here because we're hurt and all⦠Also that this was a major accident and they didn't really want an uproar⦠If I was the only one attacked, it would have been fine! But then again, you're a future queen so⦠They don't want to make an enemy of the Adventurine kingdom so they want to apologize to their earnest and have you some guardsâ¦" Yasachu mumbled, whispering to me.
"I see, thank you for your information." I nodded, now patting the short girl and went towards the knights, folding my hands.
"It's fine, you can let Prince Raijin in. I know this is an order from the headmaster, however, this is still a crowned prince we are talking about." I told the guards, and they looked at each other.
"Very well, Shiromoru-sama." They both bowed down before going outside, letting in a handcuffed Raijin. The handcuff in general had a glowing blue stone in it.
Another artificial mana stoneâ¦
"Nika! You-... UGH!! I SAID GET THIS THING OFF ME!!" Raijin yelled out, struggling to break free from the handcuffs.
"It's strange that she wouldn't just cast a spell, she could probably melt the metal of the handcuffs from how hot her flames can getâ¦. What's with that?" I asked myself in my head, still staring at Raijin.
"Ah! I'm sorry for that, let me just take this off." A familiar Heterochromatic teacher entered the room and went over to the handcuff. As soon as she touched it, glowing runes floated towards her and she deactivated the handcuff, making it drop to the ground with a clunk.
"Please don't try to fight the guards again, Gakerumi-sama... " Keshi mumbled, starting to back away from the prince as quickly as possible, hiding behind one of the knights.
As soon as she could move her arms again, she immediately got into a fighting stance and her gloves just turned into ashes as soon as her fists came up in flames.
"NIKAMI YOU BITCH!!" She dashed towards me, aiming for a punch as I stepped to the side and stared at her. She was slower than usual, and her flames are so hot I could feel the heat even if I'm away from her fists.
"GA-GAKERUMI-SAMA?!??"
"Cro-crowned prince Raijin!?" The guards were quick to take action and started to run towards her as well but I simply put my hands up to tell them to stop. In which they looked at each other again and hesitantly froze.
"Raijin, I'm hurt, you know?" I could easily tell that she was distressed, her heavy breathing and wrath driven face might make others think that she was extremely mad⦠Well, she was. But that wasn't only that.
As her punch missed, she stared down at the ground as her flames wet up even more. She was staring at the ground with such aggression that she might put a hole in it by just staring. I walked towards her, hugged her from the side and wrapped my arms around her neck.
"I'm fine now. You don't have to worry." Even her body heat was enough to make me get burnt, but that didn't matter, I know she was furious and worried about me.
"I can handle a little heatâ¦" I thought to myself, mumbling a spell called under my breath. Which made most of my visible skin to have frost on them that protected me from getting burnt from Raijin's heat. Mist could be seen around us, her heat evaporating my spell almost immediately.
"What⦠What the fuck are you talking about... You⦠You're not fine⦠No-not⦠not at allâ¦" Her body heat rapidly went down, going back to normal as tears fell down her face.
Her anger turned into sorrow, breaking down in my arms as the fire on her hands stopped and hugged me back. Mewling as she cried on me.
"I'm sorry, I'm not fine. That's true, I'm currently hurt. But, mentally, I'm fine." I tried to reassure her, closing my eyes and patting her head.
"YOU ALWAYS SAY THAT!! You always say that you're fine, that you don't need help, that you can do it all on your own, or that you can live with it⦠Its so fucking frustrating!! You could have told the teachers about that masked girl, and how dangerous she was, and you might have guards before this could even happen, but its too fucking late!! You're already hurt! Not only you, but Yasachu as well! I⦠I really hate this about you, you think that you can go through everything by yourself⦠That isn't confidence, that's being a prideful fuckâ¦" She sniffled, yelling out as she cried even more.
"I'm sorry. "
"I won't fucking forgive you!!"
"I'm so sorry."
"Shu and I were terrified when we saw you bleeding inside the infirmaryâ¦"
"I'm really sorry..."
Keshi, Yasachu, and the knights saw a strange sight, a crowned prince crying in their fiance's arms. Despite the prince never wanting to be seen as weak, here they are, crying. Bawling their eyes out.
And the girl who doesn't care what others think, the girl who dismisses a lot of things, apologizing profusely. She was even shaking as she embraced the prince.
Me and Raijin, were acting out of character.
My mind just drew a blank, not caring about the people who are just staring at us in awe, I just⦠Wanted her to stopâ¦
"Stop⦠Crying⦠Please⦠I-I'm fine, as I told you, I'm fine⦠" My voice sounded out of place, as I looked up at her and wiped some of her tears off with my hands.
I think she saw that I had teary eyes as well.
