Nikami POV

"Her name is… Shukona Amatarini."

"An Amatarini that I never had heard of?" Ajisa raised a brow, putting her hands on her hips and looking up at me.

"If I remember correctly, I have heard of the three brothers talking about their sister coming to this school…" Shoubu added on to Ajisa.

"Yes. Precisely her." I nodded towards them, looking over at Raijin as my face softened.

"...Is Raij-" Before I could finish, teachers came rushing towards where we were and the principal was also there.

"You thre-... Five?" The principal almost said three as if this happens often, and was surprised when me and Raijin were actually there.

"Wait! Where are the guards that were with you?!" Keshi exclaimed, adjusting her monocle.

"I escaped them."

"Augh… I'm going to fire them for not doing their job properly… But for now, what happened?!" The principal approached us, looking down over at Raijin.

"I'll explain to you sir, but let's go to a more… Secluded place." Shoubu took a glance at the other teachers.

"Huh? No way… You mean…?" The principal paused, clearing his throat before nodding and walking away with Shoubu.

"Does he know that the three were awaked? Ah, he probably does know. He is the principal after all... " I thought, now looking over at the teachers that were with Raijin.

Where did Kiyu-senpai go?

"..." I looked around and saw that she was hiding behind the very small and distressed Ajisa.

"Wh-why are you-"

"I-I'm sorry! I'm… I-I just can't face them and yo-your re-really the only one wh-who I could hi-hide behind-"

"Ugh! Fine! At least don't touch me… Such a hopeless girl. Of course, you would have to hide behind someone as great as me." Ajisa rolled her eyes, folding her hands and sighing.

"Cou-could you kindly uncast the ice around Prince Raijin? We have to see if he's okay…" Keshi spoke up, being pushed by their fellow teachers to speak to me.

"No. He's fine. And I'm sure of it. If you want to check for burns I saw earlier that he doesn't have some, and as for the smoke, Kiyu-sama has handled that. More importantly, Please get him some clothes. And for me as well, my clothes are darkened by the smoke. I'll be waiting at the infirmary." I made Raijin float by making the ice around her to float. And I started to slowly walk back to the infirmary, I felt a sharp pain in my arm, possibly from the injuries before, and winced.

"W-wait a second! I know that you have seen Prince Raijin fine, but we still have to-"

"Why are you talking to me in such a casual way?" I glared towards her, annoyed by their chatter, and even more annoyed at the pain.

"I will not repeat myself, do as I say. Do I make myself clear?" I held my arm, trying not to show my pain as I turned on my heel and went back to walking.

"Y-yes ma'am…" She whimpered, gritting her teeth as I left her.

As I walked, I heard whispers among the teachers.

"She doesn't seem like she's from the Adventurine Kingdom at all…"

"I thought the rumors about her were fake, but guess there are some strict people in that wild kingdom."

"But her fiancé is the complete opposite of her… Maybe that's why his parents chose her."

As I walked through the halls, I saw no student in sight. They were probably evacuated because of the fire.

I opened the door and entered…

"Oh." To my surprise, a lot of the things were destroyed near the window. Scratches and holes in the wall as some of the beds near it were destroyed, it was clear who did this due to the many solidified light arrows sticking out of the walls.

"She got… Really mad huh. She resisted a lot… I… I probably worried her. Do I have to apologize to her again…? No, I don't have to. This isn't a personal problem, it's not the same as back then. I didn't do anything bad to her, I don't have to apologize for something so small." I shook my head, hearing groans from Raijin and looked for a bed that wasn't destroyed.

I took the blanket off it and placed the iced Raijin, her face looked uncomfortable, she was groaning once again, squirming a bit. I placed the blanket above her and made the ice melt.

Sitting down near the bed, I lifted my hand and glanced over at the bandages, seeing it more bloodied than usual, I slowly opened it up and flinched because of the pain.

"Uaugh… Dammit…" I took a sharp inhale, but kept on undoing the bandage. With it falling to the ground and me staring at my arm with a glare as I saw that my injuries got worse due to me moving around too much.

I made the water from the melted ice go towards my arm and cleaned up the blood for me.

I lifted my other arm and tried to heal it, but the greenish glow of my hand suddenly turned black and stopped.

"Excuse me...?" I mumbled to myself, seeing that I couldn't even use my magic to heal. So this is what Yasachu was talking about…

"Kh… What the… Fuck…?" I heard Raijin groan, I shot my head up and turned towards her.

She was awake.

"Oh Shit… Why does my body feel like it's… Sludge…? What happened…?" Raijin squirmed around before stopping and panting.

"Ask yourself, you burnt down a big part of the academy with just your magic. You also awaked."

"Shit man... I what…? But… I… I only saw that masked girl and got so angry I couldn't… I shouldn't have… Awaked so early right…? The protagonist… Wasn't even in danger…" Raijin weakly turned her head towards me, with her gritted teeth and pitiful eyes.

"And she also didn't find out you were a girl." I added, standing up and looking to find a more clean bandage to cover my arm with. I opened some of the cabinets and found some, took one and started to use it on my arm as I walked back to my seat and sat down.

"Yea… That's right… I guess… I thought Raijin's awakening was less… Uh… Extreme… Her clothes were burnt off but… You said a huge chunk of the school… Wait…" Raijin looked down at herself, widening her eyes as she was reminded that she was, indeed, naked. And she looked over at me and looked around the half destroyed room.

"Did… Someone else take me…?" She spoke with clear nervousness, seeing how black and dirty my clothes looked, it was probably from the smoke.

"No, As if I'll let anyone know that you were a girl? That would just destroy what you have done for the past 16 years. I got there first and took you." I spoke towards her, my face being as calm and blank as always.

"S-so…" Raijin paused.

"So?"

"You… Saw me naked…?"

"..." I stared at her for a couple of seconds.

"Yes."

"Eeeaaaaahhh…" Raijin turned red, groggily covering her face as she squealed in embarrassment.

"I didn't see much because of the smoke, so you don't have to worry," I spoke, shifting my head away from her and feeling my face turning red as well.

Raijin is both thankful and annoyed by the fact that I was the one who took her. One, she would be spared the embarrassment of being seen naked by her crush, and on the other hand, she would be known for being a girl.

"I hate my life…" Raijin continues to hide behind her hands as she groans.

"So do I, but why are you so flustered? Isn't it better that I have seen you other than someone?"

"I-I mean! That's… That's true… But like, why you? Out… Out of all people…"

Confused at her words, I simply raised an eyebrow at her. What did she mean by that? What's with her conflicting feelings? She gets that she's embarrassed from being seen naked but… What did she mean by «You out of all people?»

"Did you hit your head THAT badly when you fell down?" I blinked in confusion, wondering if she actually got a concussion.

"Are you fucking insulting me…?" Raijin growled, now taking her hands off her face, glaring over at me.

"Is that even a proper question? Of course I am, I know you would be embarrassed from being seen… But why are you whining like a baby from me, and me specifically, seeing? We're best friends, I wouldn't be embarrassed from Shukona seeing me naked in comparison."

"I can't bear being just your best friend gotdamn it…" Raijin mumbled in a low whisper, but since I was just sitting next to her, I heard it.

"Excuse me?" I froze for a moment, staring over at Raijin with full confusion on my face.

Did… Did I hear that wrong?
