Chapter 77
FutsuYuri: I Wanted To Reincarnate Normally!! Not In This Yuri Game!!
Nikami POV
"WHAT THE HELL?!? WE'RE FALLING SO FUCKING HIGH UP IN THE AIR?!? HOW THE FUCK ARE WE GOING TO LAND SAFELY?!! MY MANA IS ALL OUT-" Raijin yelled out, falling down along with me as her cape crazily was swooshing around and then covering her face, shutting her up.
In contrast to her, I was calmly looking down at the ground, then glancing over at our intertwined hands and pulled her closer to me, hugging her as I paid attention below us.
There were many teachers and students that were looking up at us, frantically thinking of a way to safely put us down. I stared at one of the teachers, our eyes met, and he could see the calmness in my face. He paused for a moment and started to talk to another teacher. I wonder if he got the hint.
"Wh-what are you doing?! We're gonna die if we don't do something at this height!" Raijin exclaimed, whining in my ear as she pulled me closer. Tch, why was she overreactingâ¦? It's not like I don't know what to doâ¦
"How rude, I have a plan. I always have a plan." I spoke towards her, having the poker face I have always with me. Using the lack of gravity while falling down, I twisted Raijin's body and held it in a princess carry, seeing myself get closer and closer to the ground.
I could hear their yells now, even hearing some teachers casting, but I simply glared at them. I must admit, I am nervous, but I trust myself enough to do this. Even if my wind magic isn't as good as it was when I was a kidâ¦
"Wh-what the fuck kind of plan does it involve me in this position! You're just teasing me, aren't you?!" Raijin whined, turning red as she held onto me tightly, trusting what I was doing but still was embarrassed.
"It's easier to cast a spell on a single target than two, so just hold on tight, princess." I gave her that nickname, which made her clutch me closer to her and grumbled in flusteredness.
"Oh wind spirits, help me lift my feather like body from the ground, " I casted, when we were just a few meters from the ground. I made us float using my wind magic, rather than our fast descent, we were now gliding to the ground.
The teachers saw me do this, and stopped their casts, canceling it. My legs reached that ground, and as soon as I did that, I felt Raijin's weight on my hands. Add that to my weak strength, I felt like I was going to drop her to the ground any second now.
"I think my legs just broke." I spoke in my usual monotone voice.
"WHAT?!" Raijin exclaimed, staring up above me with a confused glare.
"That was a joke, you're heavy." I gave a sigh, gently dropping her down. I panted for a bit, sweating from me using my wind magic and even carrying Raijin with my two hands.
"Shiromoru-samaâ¦" Yasachu let out a sigh of relief, happy to see I was safe. I stared at her for a moment, then turning away with a slight red on my face. Was she worried? Of... Of course she was. Yasachu would always get worried.
"You twoâ¦! What do you think you two were doing?! Rai, you suddenly flew up there and even stepped on a teacher's face! Nika, why did you just make yourself fall like that?! And why did you get up there in the first place!" Shukona immediately started to scold us, putting her hands on her hips and narrowed her eyes down at us.
"You do understand that you damaged the bell, right? And that's something important to the school, it's one of the only magic automated bells in the world. How dare you make it stop ringing?!" Ajisa approached us as well, being with Kikyou and Shoubu.
"I got manipulated to go up there by some kind of dark magic, and because of me trying so hard to get out of it's trance, I was building up ice when she left me. Luckily Prince Raijin was up there to melt some of the ice and made me go back to my senses. Please take a look at this." I lifted up that girl's mask, shocking everyone around me. Especially Shukona and Emica.
However, I started to play with the white strand in my hair as I said that, Raijin, Shukona, and Emica got what I was doing. Right, this was my sign that I was lying. We made a lot of different signs when we were kids and used them a lot, but I never thought I would use it like this.
"Wh-what?! That masked dark user?! Oh my god-" Keshi exclaimed, covering her mouth, adjusting her monocle. Everyone in the staff already got notified of a masked figure because of the last two incidents with her, So they were pretty much on guard. I handed the mask towards Keshi.
"Ye-yeah! Sorry for kicking a teacher, but I just felt like something extremely wrong was happening with Nika and I just had to shut him up and use him as a jumping pad to get up!" Raijin yelled out, everyone staring at her were dumbstruck by what she just said.
"You are so bad at apologizingâ¦" Shukona rubbed her temples, irritated at what Raijin just said.
Wait, I just noticed, why are most of the cast here?
"Oh? That explains why you are-" Shoubu was about to do something before Kikyou tugged on her sleeves, being behind her, slouching down to whisper something towards her.
"Ah, of course, you can." Shoubu answered Kikyou, then she quietly and quickly ran towards me.
"Hah? What are you approaching for?" Raijin stood in the way, staring right at Kikyou with a protective glare. I've been spending so much time with her⦠Raijin probably thinks it's unfair.
Kikyou muttered something under her breath, which we both didn't hear, so I put my hand on Raijin's shoulders and shook my head.
"Leave her alone. Senpai, what's wrong?" I asked the taller slouched girl in front of me, so close to crying from being in the spotlight like this, and even getting a glare from Raijin.
"Yo-your ma-mana is going haywire⦠I-I am honestly su-surprised you can still sta-stand! Ca-can we fix it? I-I ca-can't do it here si-since they're is too much pe-people and-" Kikyou continued to stutter so much under the presence of most of the eyes being on her, yet she spoke loud enough for me to hear.
My⦠Mana? Oh⦠Right, she can see things normal people can't see. I nodded, glancing over at Raijin as I took Senpai's hand and we walked away. As I looked back at the others, I saw Shoubu explaining why we both had to leave for a moment.
I sat down under a tree and she sat down as well, I showed her my palm and she took it with her shaky hands. Her hands were warmer than I thought⦠No, maybe it's my hands that were cold. But despite that, she didn't let go. She closed her eyes, and her hands stopped shaking.
I felt her fingers pressing against my palm, almost massaging it in a way. I felt something lukewarm pass through my body, and I closed my eyes to rest.
I felt my body feeling warmer and relaxed the next second, I could somehow feel that she was fixing my mana for me⦠I couldn't see mana unlike she did, but I could feel my own mana inside my body if I focused enough⦠Senpai taught me that.
There was something strange now though, the mana I am feeling is a lot more solidified than the last time I tried feeling my mana. As if they were much clearer than before⦠As if⦠I could maybe control them a bit.
I took a deep inhale and tried to make sense of the shape of the mana all inside my body. Mana flows like blood, so I could feel branches like nerves all around my body. I focused on seeing my main point of mana, which was my palms. With the help of Kikyou's mana coming inside my body, I could quickly find it and I could see all of the mana in my body.
I was surprised to see that some of my mana had been entangled, and some had even been bulging, it was, as Kikyou described it, going haywire. But that being said, the lukewarm mana of Senpai started to untangle some of my mana, and I tried to do the same thingâ¦
And it worked. I'm surprised that I actually had mana control in my body right now, which was something I never thought I could do. After fixing most of the things wrong with my mana, I opened my eyes to see an excited Kikyou all up in my face.
"That was amazing Nikami-san! I can't believe you actually did that! You controlled mana inside of you! Congratulations!" She cheered for me, happy with what I did, yet I stood there looking at her in awe of what I just did and what I was seeingâ¦
Around her body was a Hagoromo, a long light green silk translucent scarf that was floating around her head and past her shoulders down to her waist, giving her a divine like presence.
And hovering above her head was a crown that had multiple health cross signs on it. The crown was also made out of the same Illuminating material that the Hagoromo had.
And that wasn't all, there was an area of light around her, a soft greenish color that it made it seem like a spotlight was shining on her.
"Kiyu Senpai⦠I can⦠See⦠Mana Aura's?" I spoke out in pure confusion, not understanding what was happening. Earlier I couldn't see it, but now I somehow can
"Pro-probably because you awaked.. N-now that your m-mana has been stabilized, I-it works properly since th-the flow is equal nowâ¦" Kikyou started to adjust her glasses, playing with her fingers.
"I awaked?!" I exclaimed, my eyes wide open as I leaned back in surprise. My poker face immediately fell.
"Y-yes! That's why everyone th-that was awakened was there⦠G-gakerumi-sama pro-probably felt it too, bu-but was too inexperienced t-to know where you were⦠U-usually⦠After being awakened⦠Yo-you would faint because o-of the mana being unstable⦠A-and⦠Usually⦠To become awaked you⦠Mu-must feel em-emotionalâ¦"
