Chapter 81

Shukona POV

After those two ran away, I gently patted my handkerchief on my chin. Wiping off the sweat that was made from Nikami. What was that? It was odd. Everyone was bowing down like they were horrified, but I, myself, only did it because Nikami told me so.

"Haah… Haah… She feels so dominant, I must fight her when she gets back." Shoubu wiped her drool with her finger, which evaporated. Must be water magic…

"You're disgusting. Why in the world did you look like you were melting in pleasure?! Don't you know how bad that is, as a princess?? You're lower than a commoner muscle head." Ajisa cringed at Shoubu, her feet slightly shaking and weak, and because of that, she leaned on the nearest person. Which was the slouching girl with glasses.

"Do you want to fight me instead?" Shoubu chuckled in response, already knowing what she was going to say.

"P-please don't…-" Kikyou nervously shook her head.

"Are you alright?" I asked the commoner, who was looking down at the ground. Due to her messy hair, I couldn't properly see what her expression was.

"Shiromoru-sama…" I could only see a dark expression on her face, her yellow irises became unnaturally small. It started to rapidly shake, her eyes wide open.

"I asked if you were alright, commoner!" Concerned, I called out to her. Seeing that expression on her face made me feel… Icky. I couldn't clearly see if she was frowning or was she smiling, but I could tell it was something bad.

"I-I'm fine! I'm just… Surprised, that's all… The pressure was a bit startling-" She shot her head up, her ahoge shivered as she gave a nervous smile towards me. Her yellow eyes went back to it's normal big bright form.

What pressure is she talking about?

"I see, you didn't look too fine though." I patted some of the leaves on her hair, taking it off while patting her head at the same time.

"You all look like you just went through hell… Lookin as fresh as ever though, Amatarini-chaaaaan!~" Yuutsu greeted us, her tail wagging happily.

"Do not address me so casually! And do not change the word elegant to something as casual as… As-! Fresh!" I exclaimed, huffing as I looked away and rolled my eyes. What kind of noble would address me as the honorific -chan?! Ack… Who does she think she is??

"Yuu-chan!" The small girl ran over to her, immediately wrapping her arms around the girl, happy that she could hug someone freely. Ugh, if she wanted a hug she could have just asked me…

"Chu-chan!~ Ah, where did those two go? I saw Shiromoru-sama and Gakerumi-kun running away." She asked me, patting Yasachu that was just clinging on to her.

"They were off on a date outside, Nika needs a break." I spoke, huffing as I saw the two being so affectionate with each other. It annoyed me, but I understood. They were both commoners, and a place filled with Nobles, comfort was rare.

"A date? Seriously? Let's go follow them!" Her ears twitched, grinning mischievously.

"Are you crazy?! Follow them? The fact that you even thought that makes me baffled." I rolled my eyes, retorting with what she said.

"It's bad but… I am kind of curious, A-aren't you too, Amatarini-sama? I mean… You've been best friends with them for so long and yet… You aren't concerned about them dating? I mean, what if they fight? Your relationship of being best friends might not be the same anymore…" Yasachu spoke with her usual concerned smile, yet why did I feel like she was staring at me with such dead eyes?

Yuutsu chuckled for a moment before removing her hands off Yasachu's head, letting go of the shorter girl.

"Well then! Oh spirits, help me strengthen my body to push forward! [Body Strengthening]!" Yuutsu casted, crouching down and scooping her up.

"Eeek?!" Yasachu let out a shriek, now being lifted up by one of Yuutsu's arms. She held Yuutsu's head and arm as a support, and looked over at me eye to eye.

I stared at her for a moment, before comprehending the situation and suddenly freaked out.

"Wh-what in the world do you think you're doing?! Get your hands off her right now!" I exclaimed, seeing that fake noble lifting her up.

She simply giggled and whispered something to the nervous Yasachu, the short girl blinked at her in confusion.

"A-are you sure?"

"Come on, just do it~"

That seems suspicious!

"What are you two talking about?!" I exclaimed, seeing Yuutsu come up behind me, I turned my head towards her. And as soon as I did that, my body fell forward. I tripped.

Before I could understand what was happening, she wrapped her arm around my falling body by stomach. Disgusted by her action, I gave a small growl. I looked down at the ground to see solidified light near my feet… Did she… No way, did Yasachu do this?

"H-how inelegant! To make a lady like me trip like this, unhand me this instant-" Before I could finish scolding her, she started to run.

"Nuh uh! You're coming with me, and I'm not gonna let go!" And with that, she ran towards the city with my squirming and screaming under her arms. While Yasachu was above and was holding Yuutsu's head as a means of balance, her icy silver hair ran through the wind.

We finally made it here, and with my insistence of going to a private alleyway was a good idea. I panted heavily, leaning over at the wall as I sweated. My head was reeling, I felt like my stomach was going to turn inside out. What in the world?! Why did she even do that?? Commoners I swear! How dare she-

UGH!!

I covered my mouth, my other hand cupping my forehead as I put my head against the wall. Ugh… Stupid gag reflex...

I felt like I was going to puke, but as a noble lady, I shouldn't show something as disgusting as that… Even towards commoners like them-

No, I mustn't panic. It's fine. It's not like they could actually see Nikami and Raijin in this big city-

"Oh! Look! It's Shirmoru-sama!" I was interrupted by that high pitched annoying voice.

Oh you have got to be joking-

"Wh-why is Gakerumi-sama not with her? She looks like she's in a daze… Does she know where she's going?" As soon as I heard that from Yasachu's mouth, I quickly walked towards them while I used the wall as support.

"She's alone?! What is Rai doing… He knows she isn't good with any directions!" I spoke towards them, despite my stomach feeling like it was going to projectile vomit.

"Shiromoru-sama isn't… Good with directions?" Yasachu turned towards me, then saw how terrible I looked.

"Oh my gosh?! Amatarini-sama, are you okay? Do you need help? A doctor maybe-" She started to panic, running over towards me as her face formed a deep frown.

"I-I don't need a doctor I just… Ack…" I shook my head, not wanting help from a commoner.

"There's like a herbal shop over there, maybe they have medicine for your stomach? Sorry, was I going too fast? I guess you nobles are used to slow carriages." Yuutsu apologized, pointing towards a shop. Despite my nausea, when I heard about a herbal shop my eyes lit up.

"Commoner, let me lean on you. Let us make… Haste! I do not wish to… ack, Puke here…-" I leaned my large body on Yasachu's body. I groaned as she gave a bright blush, her ahoge standing straight up as her gaze was right at my chest.

"Uwauwauwauwauwa-" She started to squeal, while Yuutsu stared at us blankly then turning into a smug expression.

"Damn, that's kinda gay." She scoffed at me, much to my irritation.

"Zip it. Let's just go already-"

We entered the shop as I tried to look composed, which did work, however my constant leaning on the poor short girl didn't do much good.

"Welcome! Ah… Students from Afosíosi Magic Academy? O-Oh my gosh… What do you need from this humble store?" The store clerk gulped, starting to shiver.

"Excuse me, we need some stomach medicine! She's kind of dizzy…" Yuutsu greeted the store clerk.

"Oh! Do you know why she became dizzy?" The clerk asked, looking around for what she could give me.

"My friend carried me here… In such a careless and inelegant manner as well…" I spoke, leaning my head on top of Yasachu's head.

"Ah, motion sickness I see… Here, just drink this and you'll be better in a few minutes." She got out a small vial, Handing it over to Yasachu as she went ahead and put it closer to my mouth. Despite my urge to drink it, I didn't want her feeding me.

"Ah-" I took the vial out of her hands, which caused her to give a gasp out of surprise as I started to drink the herbal medicine slowly. I felt the cool feeling go down my throat, I closed my eyes, feeling relaxed already.

"Wait did… Did you just call me your friend?" Yuutsu pointed to herself, startled at what I said.

"Did I stutter? Do you really think I would tolerate you if you weren't? Silence." I glared over at her, finishing the medicine and taking a deep breath, now my panting slowly stopped.

She had a dumbstruck look, shutting up as I told her too, while Yasachu glanced over at me as well.

"Am I your friend too? Amatarini-sama?" Yasachu asked me, her ahoge wagging slowly.

"Are you an idiot? You were my first friend when I came here. Stop asking questions you already know the answer to." I huffed, rolling my eyes as I saw their stupidity. Seeing them both showing ecstatic expressions, I felt embarrassment crawl into my face as I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Why are you two looking at me like that?!" I asked, puffing my chest out and looking away. Pouting as the red grew on my face. Ugh… Why are they so annoying?

"Here is the payment." I gave the girl one gold coin from my purse, which she stared at with confusion.

"U-uhm… Ma'am, I don't think I have the change for a g-go… Golden coin." She gulped.

"No, I will pay fully with this. You don't need to give me the change. No arguing as well, you commoners are always so talkative… Be silent and take it." I groaned, pushing the coin forward towards her. She started to sweat bullets, opening her mouth to say something but due to her surprise, nothing came out.

"Gee! Stop torturing her! She's probably so scared with the mere existence of a gold coin in front of her. Okaaay, let's make a deal shall we? Why don't you pick a few more things out here so her guilt of having such a high payment will lessen?" Yuutsu gave a suggestion, smiling over towards me.

I nodded, despite me not wanting anything in this store, I still looked around.

"O-oh, what are these clothes?" Yasachu saw something and pointed it out.

"My little sister made those… They aren't for long use, but they are very comfortable. She wants to make a clothing store in the future, and she decided it was okay to advise her in the store." The clerk answered, now calmed down a little.

"Oh! I have an idea! Hey, Shiromoru-sama doesn't know how to use directions right? And we can't really help her because it's so weird just seeing the people you ran away from approaching you… So…" She took out a blazer from one of the clothing hangers and grinned.

"Why don't you two try to crossdress and guide her with that? It hides your identity and it's fun!" She giggled towards me, and I stared at her.

"Are you kidding me? I'm not going to do something as silly as that. And besides, I was just sick… And it's practically lying to Nika! Ack… As a lady wearing such male looking clothes… It would be extremely inelegant…" I called her out on it.

"I-I mean I think… It would be fun as a prank… Shiromoru-sama would notice, she's very observant after all… it wouldn't hurt, right?" Yasachu agreed with her, nervously laughing as Yuutsu leaned on her and grinned.

"Well then! Since Amatarini-chan is still kinda sick, Missy! We're gonna get some clothes!" She talked to the clerk as I gave a sigh.

"Ugh… If you really want to do this, at least make her look good… Give her a sweater to put over the blazer. Make her hair different as well." I walked towards Yasachu as my shadow casted on her. I started to slowly take off her cookie hair tie.

"Oh…" What in the…? I've always thought her hair to be greasy due to how messy it is… But it's actually way softer than I thought? I know I pat her a lot, but that doesn't mean her whole hair would be as smooth as this.

I paused for a moment, before running my fingers through her hair before it got stuck.

"O-Ow-" Yasachu let out a noise of pain.

"You commoners really are so stupid! Can't you see that your hair is a blessing? Yet you just… Degrade it to be as messy as this?! Preposterous!" I exclaimed, huffing as I rolled my eyes. I can't exactly comb her hair because I don't have one…

"What hairstyle should she do?" Yuutsu asked, picking the clothes as she glanced back at us.

"Braids." I blurted out, knowing exactly what to do. Nikami's hairstyle is mostly braids, and I would like to copy that. Though… I wonder what style it would be?

I first made her bangs messy, so it would hide her prominent eyes. Next I went behind her and started to braid her long hair into a messy fishtail. Tying it up with a begonia flower I summoned from my fingertips.

Right after that, Yuutsu gave her the clothes. We asked the store clerk if she had an area for her to change, and she thankfully had one.

As we waited for her to finish, I took two different vials on the wall, giving a small nod towards the clerk.

"Do you have a spare vial? And could I borrow some red mountain leaves?" I asked her, to which she nodded and placed a vial on the counter, then went to a cupboard and gave me a few leaves.

"I-I'm sorry but we only have a few…" She looked down at the counter, the golden coin still not taken.

"No, it's fine. Hold this for me." I gestured to Yuutsu to hold the vial and she did.

"What are you going to use this for?" She asked me, staring at me as I poured the two vials that were on my hands into the liquidless vial.

"I want Yasachu to be as different as possible, it would be irritating for Nika to know that I was with you two." I sighed, taking one of the leaves and stared down at it.

"" I casted, causing the leaf to turn into its powdered form, much to Yuutsu's surprise. I casually put the red powder into the cyan liquid, and watched it turn into violet.

"Wha…? And what is this exactly? It looks so cool though! You really are such a talented woman..." She asked me with a small squeal, while I took the vial from her hands.

"I don't have to answer when you'll find out in a few seconds." I turned my head to see the completely different Yasachu, nervously playing with her hair. Hmmm… She doesn't look half bad…

"H-how do I look?" She asked us. Or rather… Me? I couldn't tell, the bangs were in the way of me seeing if she was glancing at me.

"I had low expectations, and thankfully you at least met them." I looked away with a slight red on my face, folding my hands.

"You look so cool!" Yuutsu's tail wagged happily.

"Anyway… Here, drink this." I showed her the vial that had purple liquid in it.

She didn't hesitate and immediately followed what I said, however I didn't even get to hand her vial, and she drank it from my hand.

"Yo-you-" Ack! When did she get this bold?! She should really stop hanging out with Yuutsu… I swear she's a bad influence for this girl! Ugh. I turned away and placed the empty vial on the desk, seeing that the golden coin was finally taken away.

"Amatarini-sama, what was that?" She asked me, while Yuutsu stared at her with a grimace.

"Y'know, Maaaaaaybe you shouldn't drink whatever people give you-" Yuutsu warned Yasachu with a pat on the back.

"I-I'm sorry…" Yasachu's voice suddenly turned masculine, which confused her, and even made her jump. Who… Said that?

"Wh-what?!" She exclaimed, hearing a deeper voice coming out of her mouth.

And then right after, Yuutsu pushed her to go towards Nika…

And here she is, conversing with her as we both followed them.
