Chapter 84

FutsuYuri: I Wanted To Reincarnate Normally!! Not In This Yuri Game!!

Raijin POV

I stayed in the dome, talking to the villagers. I paced around, nervously fiddling with my sleeves. I folded it up, wondering if Shukona, Yasachu and Nikami were okay. Yuutsu too… And she also said that Saboten was here somewhere, I hope those girls are all safe.

I heard a loud shriek from a child, wailing and crying. Irritated, I glanced over at the direction of the whining.

"Mo-mommy what's happening? I-I don't want to be separated from Lily! She might get hurt!" The small boy whined, pulling on his mother's clothes. Tears streamed down his face as he had a look of desperation.

"What's happenin?" Feeling both pity and annoyed by the loud noise, I walked over both of them with my hands in my pockets.

"I-I'm sorry for the noise, my son wants to go see his friend… You know you can't, if you get out now, you might get hurt… We can wait for the knights to arrive and rescue us, Lily will be there with her father." The mother apologized to me, before talking to her son with a frown on her face.

"Bu-but-"

"Hey, boy, what's your magic?" I asked him, trying to distract him from worrying any further from his friend.

"Hu-huh? It's… Fire magic… I-I know it's rare for someone to have an elemental magic without being a noble… S-so that's why I want to use it and save Lily!" He answered me, looking up at me with teary eyes.

"Oh? We have the same element!" I nodded, taking one of my gloves off, then gathering mana and making it burst in flames. The boy and his mother stared in surprise. The boy's eyes shined, for a moment his desperate look turned into sparkles.

"Wo-woah! Mister! You're so powerful! Co-could you come with me and save Lily? Please! Just ignore mom…" He started to pull on my shirt instead, frowning as he was back to whimpering.

"You know, I also have someone like that… She's close and dear to me, and she's also outside this dome and I don't know what's happening to her… I'm worried too." I let out some of my feelings, stopping the flames in my hand and putting my gloves back on.

"E-eh? Then why aren't you coming out and saving her…?"

"Because she's strong. Probably even stronger than me. I'm sure your friend is strong too, it's normal to be worried ya know? But… Trust on her sometimes. You can't do everything by yourself, that's undermining her abilities. So that's why trust in her! She's probably way stronger than you thought!" I gave him some advice, giving him a pat on the head.

"Y-yeah she… She's really strong!" He looked up at me, nodding in understanding and he sniffled up his sobs.

"Yeah! But remember, they're still human. So don't leave everything to them!"

In the corner of my eye, I saw something flying towards the dome. At first I thought it was a demon but then that cinnamon brown hair with some white patches caught my eye.

"What the hell?!" I exclaimed, taken aback from what was happening, I didn't take time to register it and just immediately bolted.

"Mister?! What's going on!?" The boy yelled and I looked back at him.

"I'm gonna save my Lily!" I exclaimed, running and shoving past all of the people that went in my way, getting out of the dome barrier.

I panted, sweating bullets as I stared at her, took a step and then lept, catching her in time. Due to how fast she was going, I was pushed back as well. But before I hit the ground, I created an explosion behind me to create a counter. We both crashed into the ground, rougher than I anticipated.

"Nika! What the he-" I paused, seeing blood on her face. The color drained from my face, freezing my thought process for a moment before I saw that she was still conscious.

"What happened?! Are you hurt? Who's blood is this?!" I yelled out, panting as I adjusted her body to lay down on my lap as she stared at me blankly.

"Shukona she…" Nikami spoke in a weak voice, groaning before she cupped her hand on her forehead. She grimaced looking like she was about to puke at any second now. Her emotionless face started to distort, her face scrunched up as tears started to fall down her face.

This is the first time I've ever seen her in this much pain… In this life and the last. It was way worse back in the tower, at least back then she could still talk. Right now… She feels like she's alone, cold, and panicking. She's in her own world.

"Shu…?" What happened to her? I wanted to ask, but then I noticed she started to breathe heavily, her eyes getting frantic and she covered her face in shame. She started to shiver, I could feel her neck getting colder, and her heartbeat racing by the second. I saw the tips of her hand being covered in frost.

I know Nikami's just like me, a person who doesn't want to show weakness. She probably thinks that she's pathetic in crying, especially with people behind me. I know that feeling all too well…

I took off my coat, putting it over my head and pulling her close to my chest. I was facing my back towards the people in the dome, so there was no way they could see her now.

"Nika, Nika. Listen to me okay? Please take your hands off your face, Nikami." I pulled her closer, repeating her name over and over to catch her attention. I patted her head as I made it lean on my shoulder, she kept on sobbing, and I made sure to make my body heat higher than usual.

"You're going to be fine, Nikami, I'm here. I'm the only one who can see you, Nika. And I'm not going to leave, not in 10 minutes, not ever, okay Nika? Come on, breathe with me… You're going to be fine. I love you." I reminded her, then started to do breathing exercises.

It seemed to work, Nikami wasn't able to talk, but she weakly nodded and tried to stabilize her breathing. She took unsteady breaths, trying to match mine. She took off her hands off her face and weakly placed it on the ground, feeling limp. I continued to pat her head, softly playing with her hair. Hoping it would help her relax.

"You're doing a good job Nika... You're going to get through this. Focus on my voice, my warmth, my shirt." I spoke softly and slowly towards her yet again, wanting her to be calm. It hurt me seeing her having a panic attack, her just uncontrollably crying, her just being in pain in general…

After a while, I felt her heart rate stabilize, her breathing was now calm.

"...Thank… You." Nikami let out a small whimper, clenching up my shirt as her small hands shook.

"H-hey! Maybe we should talk about good things to calm you down now? Hey, remember that time when we played in the lake and I got slapped by a fish? Ahaha that I was so funny wasn't it?-" I wanted to make her think about good things right after what happened in her head, but she stopped me.

"I don't want to waste time. Shukona got kidnapped by that masked girl. It was either me or her, and she sacrificed herself. I'm sorry for doing something like that, now I just made her wait in the embrace of that girl with the plastic scars. Who knows what she'll do to her?" Nikami spoke in a low growling voice, apologizing to me.

"What the fuck are you talking about? That reaction was normal! The hell…? I wouldn't be able to function after something like that-" I gasped, hearing what she just said. I hissed through my teeth, holding her tightly. I don't want her to be taken away, but at the same time, Shukona was now away instead. That masked asshole… Why is she here now that the demons attacked?

I leaned my head on Nikami's shoulders, holding her tightly. Shivering in fear at what she just went through, I continued to pat her head. How… Is she that strong? She immediately wanted to find Shukona and faced the subject that gave her a panic attack.

"I think you need to take a rest first, ya know? You've been through something and yeah… Obviously, your mana is low as well. If you go now, and your mental health is in shambles, I know you'll do something you'll regret." I pulled away from her, cupping those soft cheeks and made her look at me.

"I'm not taking a no ya fuckin got that? You need to trust me sometimes. I can deal with shit, this isn't just your problem. It's mine too, this is about Shukona after all… And shit, she made you cry like this. I won't forgive her." I spoke to Nikami feeling heat coming out of my mouth, I was fuming. But, I didn't want to yell when she just finished ugly crying, so I kept my calm. She's sensitive right now, I don't want to upset her.

"Mm…" Nikami didn't say anything and just rolled her eyes. She stared up at me with blank red eyes and puffy cheeks, I pressed my hands even further into her, squishing her face.

"I'll take that as a yes, I don't want my fiance overworking herself… Again!" I growled, taking my hands off her cheeks as she stared at me with a light glare.

"Future wife." She interjected with a monotone voice, but it still made me grow red.

I nearly choked on my own spit, hearing her say something so bold in such a serious tone. I needed a second to calm for a bit before I replied.

"Th-that's the same damn thing!" I exclaimed, steam getting out of my head due to how hot it became.

"Why are you two still here?!" I heard Keshi Sensei's voice in the distance, Machines whirring and wheels screeching when she stopped at the side of us.

"Gakerumi-sama, Shiromoru-sama, we have to leave! Please sit behind me!" She yelled out, seeing that the messy haired teacher was on a motorcycle. The golden plating of the light motorcycle gave a shock, I stared over at the bike and saw that it didn't have an exhaust pipe.

"Why the hell do you have a bike?!" I exclaimed, I thought this game was set in medieval times! But then I noticed the many crystals in the vehicle… Ah shit, it's magic powered? Right, this girl is a capture target… And the inventor.

"What's a bike?! I know this machine is odd, and I'm not supposed to ride this yet, but since two royals are outside, there is no way I'm grabbing you two with just a carriage, it takes way too long!" She exclaimed, chuckling to herself as she glanced over at Nikami that was on the ground covered by my coat.

"Don't ask." I spoke about Nikami, then nervously laughed again.

"Is that safe? What do you mean you can't ride that yet?!" I asked her, concerned if we are able to even ride that thing.

"Well, it hasn't blown up on me yet, so I'm pretty sure it's safe!" She chuckled, adjusting her monocle as she nervously looked away.

"You damn crazy ass teacher… Fine! We'll take a ride, I don't wanna walk. And besides, that looks hella cool." It's been so long since I've ever ridden a motorcycle, so despite it having a big chance of exploding on us, I was extremely excited.

"Nika! Let's ride a motorcycle!" I exclaimed towards the girl on the ground.

"I told you, what's a motorcycle?!" Keshi whined.

"Wouldn't that… Explode? It might not be fit for three people since it isn't even complete yet-" I just crouched down and carried her, much to her surprise and confusion.

I placed her on the back of Sensei and I sat on the back in quick succession. So quick that even Nikami was a bit confused about what just happened, despite her blank face, I could practically see a question mark and exclamation point near her face.

"And… LET'S RIIIIIIDEEEEEE!!" Keshi started to laugh hysterically, starting up the engine so quickly that I nearly fell on my back and she sped through the city.

A Vampires Snack

I took out the tray from the hot oven, feeling the heat on my clothes as I placed it on the table. I huffed, wiping my sweating chin with my yellow mittens. I turned towards my friend, a popular tomboy named Raijin Gakerumi.

“Grah! You’re so fluffy! You’re so fwuffy aren’t you?!” She started to baby talk one of my huskies, rubbing his cheeks as she faced the dog with a lovestruck face. She had a large stupid grin in her face, before tackling the poor dog and embracing him with love. The dog, being confused and scared of the person in front of them, started to whimper and run away, leaving the disappointed Raijin behind.

“Raijin! I finished the cookies! It’s still a little hot though.” Seeing how disappointed the cat eyed woman was, I wanted to cheer her up with sweets, knowing that she was a sweet tooth.

“Seriously?! Awesome! Thanks again for inviting me to your place and making me meet your dogs!” Raijin bounced back to her usually energetic side, power walking towards me and picking up a cookie. Then immediately started to juggle it with both of her hands due to it being hotter than she thought.

“Fuck! FUck!” She cursed, playing hot potato with a cookie instead.

“Pft…! I told you that it was still hot.” I giggled at her actions, taking off my mittens and placing it on the counter.

“Ack… I guess you're right.” She gave up, placing the cookie into her mouth and suffered due to it being extremely hot for her taste buds. Yet, Raijin was stubborn, not wanting to spit it out despite her whole mouth wanting to.

“Just wait for it to cool, Hahaha geez…” I chuckled once again, already used to her careless antics. I picked up one of the cookies, facing it as I blew on it, making the cooling process faster, and with that, I munched on my chocolate chip cookies. I closed my eyes, covering my cheek as I indulged in my baked goods.

As I looked back, she had already eaten almost half of the cookies. I was startled at her speed, especially with how hot it still is.

“Are you that hungry?” I asked, wondering why she was just stuffing herself with cookies. Maybe snacks aren’t enough, do I need to cook a meal?

“N-no it's uh....A different kind of hunger I guess?” She shrugged, gulping down the cookies down her throat. I saw her taking a peek of my neck, her eyes gleaming red for a split second. But as quick as it came, as fast as it disappeared. Maybe that was just… My imagination…?

“What do you mean?” I asked her, being slightly distracted by her sudden eye change.

She lowered her head, biting her lip in frustration as she made a heavy sigh. I suddenly felt the room temperature drop cold, the cheery aura around her just became serious.

“Uh… Promise you won’t scream when I tell you this? I mean, I trust you a lot to tell you this secret so… Errrr…” She scratched the back of her head, taking in a deep breath and dropped a bomb shell.

“I’m a vampire. What I’m hungry for is blood.” She replied to me, avoiding her gaze on me.

I paused, blinking over at her as I started to laugh. No way, that’s so silly! Raijin? Being a vampire? That’s kinda hilarious!

“Th-the fuck?! Hey! What are ya laughing at?!” She fully faced me, wondering why I was laughing all of a sudden. She had cold sweat all around her, glaring at me. Laughing wasn’t a good sign… But at least I wasn’t freaking out.

“N-no! I’m sorry, that’s just a bit funny! Halloween was days ago, right? Ahaha, sorry…” I chuckled, wheezing. Her eyes turned red, shaking her head as she took a step forwards. Seeing how close she was to me, I took a step back and was stopped by the table behind me. She leaned closer, placing both of her arms on the kitchen counter and made me trapped.

This time I wasn’t laughing, I stared at her slit red eyes and then my gaze trailed down her mouth, seeing visible unnatural fangs. I looked back up, her glowing eyes meeting mine. I gulped in nervousness, holding my breath this whole time.

“Does it look like I’m kidding?” She asked me, making me shiver and look away.

“N-no… I’m sorry…” I apologized, wondering what she was going to do to me.

“Are you… Going to eat me?” I asked, my voice weavering from my shivers.

“Wh-wha?! No! I just wanted to tell you! Since you… You’re trustworthy, sorry if I was too intimidating.” Raijin took a step back, putting her hands up as her red eyes faded back into her blues.

“O-oh! Your red eyes are just… Kinda scary I guess, and uhm I’m sorry I’m just… A  bit startled with this information, vampires exist too… Huh…” I mumbled under my breath, thinking that my encounter with Nikami may not have been just a dream. Maybe I should have taken the hint when Raijin was so athletic yet the moment she plays in the sun she gets a heat stroke each time.

“Red eyes?! Shit! Fuck! I shouldn’t have forgotten my blood pack! Damn it… I don’t want to go berserk… I hate this time of the month.” She grumbled, placing her elbows on the counter and covered her face with her hands, rocking forwards and backwards. Time of the month…? Is she in her period or something…? What does that have to do with her going berserk?

“What do you mean by that?” I asked her, going over to her side trying to give myself a small space. I’m concerned but I'm still scared she might do something.

“If I don’t drink much blood during this time, I’ll go crazy.” She took deep breaths, grumbling as she faced me with blood shot eyes again.

“Then, all you need is blood right?” I asked, hesitantly cuffing my sleeves and revealing my arm, gulping.

“I have some. I don’t really want you to go crazy either.” I mumbled, looking away as I showed her my bare skin.

“A-are you kidding me?! Feeding on you?! Are ya crazy?-” She paused, gritting her teeth and feeling a sharp headache. “Fine! Fine! Don’t blame me if it hurts…” She grumbled, softly grabbing my arm and picking a spot. She licked my arm slightly, making me flitch.

“Here I go… Stop me if it hurts, gotcha?” She warned, in which I replied with a shiver and a nod. She opened her mouth, revealing her fangs and bit down. Her teeth sinking into my skin, I gave a gasp of pain. Not wanting to make her sad, I covered and held down any whimpers I had made from my mouth. I could feel my blood being sucked out by her, as if she was a sort of syringe.

After she was finished, she let go of me as I felt light headed, tripping backwards but she caught me midair.

“Shit, did I take too much?” She asked me out of concern, looking up at the blue eyed woman. My blood dripped from her chin, making me gulp down any of my words out of pure awe. Or, maybe because everything was spinning, and I fainted in her arms.

The Witch and The Vampire

¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤¤

“Yasachu sure has a great ability to attract supernatural beings… And you, you’re one of the supernatural of the supernatural… What’s your name again? Kaiji?” Nikami looked down at Raijin, who was trapped in chains tied up to a pole. She glared up at the witch, being stuck in her shadows.

“It’s fucking Raijin!” Raijin growled, struggling around with the chains.

“Yes, Raijin the vampire. You seem to be an advanced type, having resistance to the sun and even holding back your urges. It’s not everyday I see a specimen like you.” Nikami explained, taking Raijin’s chin and pulling up her chin as she scowled at her again.

“So you resort to kidnap me?!” Raijin spat, seeing eye to eye with the green eyed witch. She whipped her hand down to bite her thumb, which Nikami quickly pulled her hand away and took a step back seeing the injury in her hand due to her sharp fangs.

“Well, no, I’m just borrowing you from your usual habitat to research you. But if you keep being feisty, I’ll have to give you a crest so you can obey me just for a little while.” Nikami made a full 180, turning on her heel and started to walk away.

A crest?! No fucking way! Raijin’s anger boiled up inside her, licking her lips for the leftover mage blood which gave her a powerup to break free of her chains. Raijin got up and dashed towards Nikami, the sound of clacks allerted the mage. She immediately took out her wand, twisting her body and pointed her want over at Raijin. But Raijin acted quickly and kicked the wand out of her hand, so strong that Nikami’s body toppled over as well. Raijin lifted up her fist over at the mage that was on the ground and tried to punch her before she froze, feeling something pressing against her neck.

That something was Nikami’s wand, which she had grabbed when she dropped and sat down on the ground. Raijin gritted her teeth together, glaring at the toxic eyed panting mage.

“You really are… So feisty, Vampire.” Nikami spoke with short breaths.

“Who fucking wouldn’t? You just took me while I was unconscious!” Raijin whined as the wand was pressed even more against her neck, sweating as her nose scrunched up.

“I just wanted to experiment for a while, then I’ll immediately let you and pretend this never happened.” Nikami spoke, starting to stand up and putting her wand away before Raijin pushed her down on the floor. Without even giving her time to react, Raijin pressed her warm lips on Nikami’s cold neck, making her squirm below her, trying to push her away.

“What are yo-ACK!” Nikami let out a moan of pain, feeling her teeth sinking into her. But she felt something else different, something more dangerous.

“There…!” Raijin pulled away with a cocky smirk, laying on top of the flustered mage as her large pointy hat fell down.

“What did you just do?” Nikami was composed even in this situation, thinking about what she just did as the worst case scenario.

“I gave you a mark so you wouldn’t get away from me to make a crest.” She scoffed down at Nikami, which only made the Witch break her poker face and pressed her palm against the bite mark and sat up suddenly. She grabbed Raijin’s shoulder and rammed her forehead against the red eyed vampire.

“Do you know what you just did?!” Nikami yelled out in desperation.

“Y-yeah! Mom told me to do this as a last resort!” In stopping someone from leaving.

“You vampire imbecil! That was a mating mark!”

“Wh...what?”
