I'm on my way to the airport currently, it's dead silent in the car since Xavier is sleeping. Jasmine gave me his stuff and told me that she didn't wake him up since he went to bed late last night because he was excited to see me.
I park outside Melbourne Tullamarine Domestic Airport and get my bags and my baby out of the car. I hand the key to the valet so he'll park my car in the underground parking where it'll stay there until I come back.

I'm in the plane seated in first class, the flight is about an hour and five minutes. Checking on Xavier to make sure he's still asleep, I pull out my MacBook Air and start reading over the new quotas for the Australian Military.
I get some coffee and a glass of milk.
"Xavi baby, wake up have some milk, we'll be getting off soon". I shake him gently.
He rubs his eyes and looks around, he looks at me, squeals and hugs me.
"I missed you too but we have to be quite baby. We're on a plane." I put him on my lap and get him to drink the milk.
20 minutes later we're off the plane and head to where a man is holding a sign with my name on it.
"Morning Ms. Swanson, my name is Mitch and I'll be your chauffeur for the duration of your stay. I'll grab your bags. Who might this big fella be?" He asks looking at Xavier.
"I'm Xawiah!" he smiles shyly at Mitch.
"Well hello Mr.Xavier, nice to meet you". Mitch smiles at Xavier's cuteness.
"I hope you got my message about bringing a booster seat?" He nods and we walk to the car. It's a dark grey Mercedes-Benz E-Class E 300 coupe.
It's 8:30 and the meeting is at 10. I think I should have enough time to go to the hotel first. I'll change and freshen up before I meet the Minister of Defence.
The only thing is though where do I leave Xavier, I can't leave him in the hotel or take him into the meeting. Hmm... Idea!
I quickly change into a grey dress with an off-white blazer with a golden bracelet and a gold necklace and the pendant is a 'D' for Delta. I pair it with beige stilettos. I fix up my makeup and hair.
"Baby come here, you need to change out of your jammies". I open his bag and pull out a white shirt and a pair of navy blue jeans. I pair them with his little white nike shoes.
For a kid that little he's got style, takes after his auntie after all. Me.
I grab my grey handbag and head to the car it's 9:10am. Perfect we'll be there in 40 minutes and I'll have 10 minutes to spare.
Oh right my idea. "Mitch".
"Yes Ms. Swanson?" I turn to look at Xavier.
"Would you mind taking care of Xavier while I'm in the meeting?". If he wasn't highly recommended and trustworthy according to one of my business associates, I wouldn't have trusted him so easily.
"I would love to Ms. Swanson, you don't worry about him".
"Thank you". I'm glad he agreed or I would've had to bring Xavier in with me and he would've probably gotten bored.

9:50am. We've arrived.
"Xavi baby, I need you to stay with Mitch until I come back. Be good for him. We'll go out afterwards." I hug him.
"Okay, come back qwickly". I kiss his forehead.
"I'll rush back as soon as I'm done". I gather my things and nod to Mitch.
I walk in and go through security as they check my things and hand me a visitor badge to clip onto my blazer.

I finish up with Minister Pyne. We had to discuss so many new things they added to the contract. It took an hour to get through.
"Thank you Minister Pyne" I shake his hand.
"Thank you for bearing through the details with me". I smile at him.
"Are you joining us at the Charity Event tomorrow night?" Ah yes I'm actually keen for it now since Xavier will be coming with me.
"Yes, I am. Will Mrs. Pyne and the kids be joining you?" I ask about his family since I've been dealing with Minister Pyne for a couple of years and I've been introduced to his family several times.
"Don't let her catch you calling her Mrs. Pyne." Yeah she prefers I call her Carolyn or Carol.
"She will be joining but not the kids they have school." Ah how I don't miss those days.
"Are you bringing a date this time Ms. Swanson?". He enquires.
I try to hide my smile. "Actually yes, my date will steal Carolyn's heart tomorrow you'll see."
"Oh boy now I have to meet this date of yours". He jokes.
"Certainly Minister Pyne, so I'll be talking a leave now. I shall see you tomorrow at the event." He escorts me to the elevator.
I check the time and it's 12:20. Damn it definitely took me longer than I thought. I text Mitch to bring the car to pick me up. I really hope my baby didn't cry, I'll feel like shit if he did. Maybe I should have postponed our little trip for a day or two.
The car pulls up and I quickly get in and look at Xavier to see him happily munching on some chocolate. Phew he's okay.
I hug him and we're off to the hotel.
"I hope you don't mind that I bought him chocolate, Ms. Swanson." I could tell he was worried I'd be mad.
"Not at all, I hope he behaved himself with you and I'll remember to reimburse you".
"He was very well-behaved, it was a pleasure to take care of him. It's honestly fine, I wanted to buy it for him." I smile. Good. I want to raise him to be a better person than his father.
I'm not getting into that now. Right now it's time for Xavi and I.
"Mitch take us to Ottoman Cuisine please, are you hungry Xavi?" I turn to look at Xavi as I say the last part. It's time for lunch first then I'll take him to an arcade.
We get seated in the VIP section. I order Manti which is a Turkish style egg pastry ravioli of baby spinach & goat's feta cheese. I order a glass of wine and a mango juice. I feed Xavier from my plate since he's too young to be able to finish a whole meal by himself and plus he already ate chocolate.
I usher the waiter and he brings me the bill. I pay it with my credit card. I wait for Xavier to finish his juice when I hear a female whining that she didn't want to sit where she was being seated and instead she wanted to sit where I currently sat.
The waiter whispers something to her and she huffs and sits down. Luckily Xavier finishes and we leave. I did not want to stick around for more of her whining.
We walk past her table and Xavier trips while knocking the vase filled with water. The water spills on the female.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH, you little", she shrieks.
Fuck. My ears.
