**Evangeline's POV**
Not again. This is the second time she's taken a bullet for me. It looks badâshe was shot right in the shoulder blade and bled a lot.
Here I am, pacing back and forth in front of the hospital while Austin treats her in the ER. As soon as the bullet was fired, the boys rushed outside, immediately asking if everything was fine.
"Nothing is fine. Someone call Austin and take her to the hospital. I need to make sure I kill those idiots," I said, holding her in my arms.
"Consider it done. You go after them; if you're late, they might get away," Gelo told me, pointing in their direction. I saw them already retreating.
"Go, we will be with her," Xavier said.
"I am going with you," Xander said.
"I am going with you," Gelo echoed.
"No, I can handle it alone," I said, getting on my bike. "One of you go home and investigate it. Gelo, go to the headquarters and talk to Alex." I didn't wait for a reply as I sped off after those bastards, having the nerve to mess with my people.
After a chase, I finally caught up to them and took aim. Thank God we weren't in a public space.
**Austin's POV**
As soon as I got a call from Xavier, I rushed to the hospital, which wasn't far from here. I immediately prepared the emergency room for the incoming patient, knowing I needed to save them. In no time, Xavier and Greyson arrived with an injured girl. I quickly took her and a team of doctors into the operating room.
**Xander's POV**
Here I am, driving with Angelo in the passenger seat, heading to the French Mafia headquarters.
"Alex, I need the cyber tech room empty in an hour," Angelo said. I still sometimes forget that he's the best at hacking.
"Can you tell me more about the location of the attack so I can check it out?" Alex asked. Angelo sat behind the desk, focused on the computer screen. I gave Alex the details, which he noted down before heading to another room.
"Anything I can help with?" I asked Angelo.
"Can you call her and check on her?" he asked without looking up from the computer. I nodded and called her, but she didn't pick up.
"She seems busy," I said. "What are you up to?"
"Hacking all the devices at the location of the attack to see if I find anything suspicious," he replied, typing away at an insane speed.
"I'll go check on the girl at the hospital," I said, leaving so I wouldn't be a distraction.
**Felicity's POV**
Everything hurts!
I groaned as I opened my eyes to yet another familiar ceiling. Why am I in a hospital again? I'm tired of waking up in hospitals every time I pass out. I slowly sat up, feeling my torso bandaged and an IV hooked to my hand. Looking around, I saw no one in the room; it was definitely luxurious. Slowly, I remembered passing out in Eva's arms.
I tried to get out of bed to reach for the water across the room when the door opened, and someone I didn't recognize walked in.
