"So tell me, how you're doing Geralt? We haven't seen each other for a quite long time." Eskel was curious.
They were standing on the balcony. They already ate their dinner and they wanted to talk in private.
"I'm gonna say that's very different what I expected.." Geralt said thoughtfully and looked at him.
"What do you mean?" Eskel laughed a bit.
"I mean.. I thought it will be hard and it is still hard.. you know.. their are all my responsibility, their my everything now. To be honest I really wasn't prepare to have a real family. I was trained like a monster slayer. All what I know in my life was just hate, fear, evil, killing, fucking injustice.. but now it's a huge change for me.. They showed me that there is more in this life, they literally changed me. They gave me something what I never had and I quite like this lifestyle without killing monsters or bastards almost every day." Geralt said honestly.
"I can see Geralt.." Eskel laughed. "You're totally different person than you was before.. I mean in good way.." he was honest.
"Hm.. Tell me about it.." Geralt laughed.
"And Yennefer? How is she handling everything?" Eskel gave him amusement look. Geralt shaked his head.
"She's changed even more since we have Jahve. She's more grumpy than me now, because she's worried about them." Geralt said calmly. "But her behavior hasn't changed at all. She'll still send you to the hell if she wants to.." Geralt laughed.
"Charming as ever.." Eskel was joking.
"Yeah.." he said with laughing. "But I still love her. She's not so bad as you think, she has a good heart." Geralt smiled.
"May I remind you she only likes one witcher in the whole world and that's you. Everyone else are pricks for her.." Eskel laughed.
"Well, if you would own her heart as first, maybe then you wouldn't have any problem with her." Geralt was teasing him.
"But I'm not the famous White Wolf with charming voice and.." Eskel said with laughing.
"Shut up.." Geralt cut him and laughed. "Alright, enough of this topic.. now tell me something about you. How's you and Triss ?" Geralt said calmly. Eskel immediately started blushing.
"Someone fell in love I suppose.." Geralt was teasing him.
"No.. It's not that.." Eskel frowned.
"Oh really? When I mention her name you're always totally wet.. and you behave differently.. I know these feelings very well." Geralt laughed. Eskel sighed.
"Fine. I do have feelings for her. Satisfied?" Eskel frowned.
"Was it so hard to say it?" Geralt smiled.
"No.. I'm just not.." Geralt interrupted him.
"Your not sure if it is real.." he caught Eskel's arm.
"Exactly." Eskel sighed. "And she's most of the time here or she's doing her king's duties and we don't see each other that much.." he said sadly. "How you handle this everything Geralt? I mean it must be really though to handle Yennefer, not to mention that you're also a father now." Eskel was confused. He needed answers.
"Look, it never be easy. Problems will always come between you and Triss, it's normal. But you will go trough it. Together. You will survive it. I've get trough a lot with Yen and we are here.. because we love each other no matter what. She even gave me a second chance after I broke her heart and I can't be more grateful for it.
We have emotions Eskel, we're also capable of love. We're not monsters like other people thinks we are. Just don't be afraid to show it. Show your emotions, show who you really are and that's all. You will feel better then and I promise you Triss will be very happy if you tell her what you really feel." Geralt smiled at him. He was honest.
"Thank you Geralt. These words means a lot to me." Eskel smiled. "Yennefer raised from you a really great man.." Eskel was kidding.
"Was I so bad before?" Geralt laughed.
"Just a little.." Eskel said with laughing.
"You dickhead.." Geralt elbowed Eskel into his arm. Eskel laughed.
"Dad!" Jahve ran to them. They both turned to him. Jahve was catching his breath.
"Easy. Just take a breath first." Geralt laughed.
"I have a letter from lady Melanie. She told me it's for you!" Jahve said with excitement. He gave a letter to Geralt.
"Thank you." Geralt smiled at him.
"And mom also told me that you should both return back to the dinner. She said it's rude to leave like that." Jahve smiled from ear to ear. Geralt raised his eyebrows.
"Of course.. she can't let her eyes from us.." Geralt said sarcastically and looked at Eskel. Eskel burst into laughing.
"Jahve go with Eskel inside, I will follow you in minute." he caressed Jahve's hair.
"Come." Eskel smiled at Jahve and he caught his hand. They left from the balcony.
Geralt opened the letter and he recognized a font. It was from Jaskier.
Hello my grumpy friend,
I would like to invite you all into my new Tavern in Novigrad, called Rosmary and Thyme. Soon it will be also Ciri's birthday, so we could celebrate it there together. I will prepare everything, you don't have worry about anything, it will be a big celebration.. and I also haven't seen you too long. I miss you witcher! Let me now your decision.

Geralt read the letter and he smiled under his nose.
"Fucking bard.. how the hell he earned a new Tavern?!" Geralt laughed. He was glad that Jaskier wrote him. He missed him a bit. He would like to go to Novigrad. Since Jahve came into his life, he hasn't been so far from home. But he also knew that Yen will make the final decision and not him. He then turned around and went inside.
When he entered into dinning room, everybody was sitting to the table and talking. Eskel was already drinking bear and sitting very close to Triss. Yen and Ciri were sitting opposite to them. Geralt sat down next to Yennefer.
"You've been away too long." Yennefer stated and she didn't looked at him. She was watching the conversation between others.
"I've been away at least 15 minutes.." he said calmly.
"Good that you haven't forget to count.." Yen looked at him.
"We had a witcher's talk." Geralt explained. He leaned closer to her head. "Nothing what you should hear.." he whispered to her ear.
"We promise to each other no secrets.. don't we?" Yennefer raised her eyebrow.
"Witcher's codex.." Geralt smiled amusemently. Yennefer frowned.
"Fine. If you want it in that way.. " she pushed him away from her and she pretended like he wasn't there next to her.
"Yen.. C'mon.." Geralt laughed a bit.
"Sorry what were you saying? I can't hear you." Yennefer looked at him without emotions.
"Really? Now you're playing games with me?" Geralt raised his eyebrow.
"I'm not playing anything." she said calmly and she looked again at the others. Geralt rolled his eyes. He then leaned to her and put his hand around her waist and his second hand put on her thigh and he started caressing it. Yen slowly raised her eyes on him.
"What are you doing?" she asked calmly.
"Trying to get your attention.." he softly kissed her on her cheek.
"Well, it's not working.. " she stated and smiled under her nose. He had such an effect on her.
"Isn't it?" Geralt smiled. He started slidning his hand towards her groin. Yen almost jumped from her chair.
"Stop it." she caught his hand on her thigh and gave him warn look. She started smiling.
"I won." Geralt said proudly and looked straight into her eyes.
"You won just punishment witcher.." Yennefer shaked her head and kissed him on his lips longingly.
"Hey, lovers! Come back to this universe please." Triss interrupted them. She laughed. Geralt and Yennefer pulled away from each other and looked at them.
"Sorry.. he doesn't have decent behavior." Yennefer explained.
"Hey, I wasn't the one who started.." Geralt said with laughing.
"Stop arguing with her. She is always right." Triss was teasing him.
"Perfect words. Thank you Triss for reminding him this." Yennefer laughed. Geralt shaked his head.
"That's women's power my friend. We can't do anything about it, just listen to them." Eskel was joking.
"Mhm.. unfortunately for us it's true.." Geralt laughed and he kissed Yennefer's forehead.
"Now I think that I'm the only adult here.." Ciri said with laughing.
"Living with witchers is never easy Ciri.." Eskel explained and winked at her. Triss elbowed him.
"Ouch.. What was that for?" Eskel gave her surprised look.
"You know for what.." Triss crossed her arms and smiled at him.
"Triss wanted to say that living with sorceresses will be even harder if you will getting on their nerves.." Ciri explained and laughed a bit.
"Well said Ciri.. I see I teach you very well." Yennefer said proudly and she caressed her back. Ciri smiled at her.
"Like mother like daughter." Triss said with laughing.
"I won't say anything than agree." Geralt smiled proudly.
"So let's drink on this wonderful time together!" Eskel suggested.
They all nodded and drank from their cups.
Geralt cleared his throat.
"Ahm.. I've got the letter from Jaskier. He invited us to Novigrad." Geralt was trying to smile. Yennefer gave him surprised look. Ciri got excited.
"When?" Yennefer asked him.
"Now. We can go tomorrow or another day.. well, if you like to go there." Geralt said calmly.
"But it'll be Ciri's birthday for a week.." Yennefer looked at him unsure.
"I know, Jaskier wants to also prepare a celebration for Ciri." Geralt explained.
"I don't know Geralt, it's too.." Ciri interrupted Yennefer.
"I wanna go. It would be great to be back in Novigrad." Ciri said with excitement. "Please.." she looked at Yennefer with puppy's eyes. Yennefer sighed. Geralt smiled at Eskel. He could see that he was excited as him about this trip.
"Alright.. but you have to promise me you won't do anything stupid." Yennefer warned her.
"I promise." Ciri hugged her. Yennefer kissed her head.
Jahve suddenly entered into dinning room with wooden sword in his hand. Ciri turned to him.
"Jahve we're going on trip!" Ciri said happily. Jahve came to her and he sat down on her lap. He immediately started asking her questions.
"You knew I will agree.." Yennefer turned to Geralt.
"I did not.. I hoped little bit." Geralt said calmly and smiled at her.
"I can see in your eyes that you're excited that I agreed with this." Yennefer said amusemently.
"I am happy.. we need a vacation.." Geralt was teasing her. He leaned to her and kissed her on her lips. Yen pulled away from him a bit.
"Since when is vacation in Jaskier's Tavern?" Yennefer raised her eyebrow.
"Yen, don't ruin this moment.." Geralt laughed and he kissed her passionately.
