Lily's POV~
Six hours. That's how long it took for Josie and I to get to New Orleans. I was intelligent enough to compel a pilot instead of driving all the way here. Once we got here, I also compelled a renter dealership to give us a car. We've been here for about two days already. Josie has been asking around for Freya whilst I have been using those two days as a mental break from everything. Today is the day I actually help.
"Okay, you ask around the bar here," I tell Josie whilst pointing to Rousseau's. "I'm going to the Mikaelson compound to see if she's home. If not, I'll ask her wife. Tootles." And with that, I'm gone.
I don't go there right away. I went to our hotel, that I also got with compulsion, and put our bags in our car. This wasn't going to be a very long stay so I knew it was smart.
I parked the car at the bar, and vamp sped to the compound. It wasn't far so I got there in like forty seconds. I siphoned the barrier spell around it and walked in, putting the spell back up once I'm inside. Walking into the courtyard, I look around. "Freya! Keelin!" I yelled knowing that they would be able to hear me. Sound travels great from the courtyard.
I hear the pitter-patter of little feet. Turning around I see Freya's son, Nik. When he sees me his face lights up. "WILY!" he screams as he runs to me. I laugh, he can't fully pronounce his L's yet. "Hey Niki!" I say light and pick him up. "Where's mommy?" I ask and I get the answer when someone responds. "Right here." I look up from Nik and see Keelin walk in with a death glare.
Nik reaches for her, so I set him down and he runs to her, she picks him up, her glare never leaving. "Why are you here Lillian." I cringe at hearing my full name. "Relax Keelin. Even when I had my humanity off, I would never get a child. I came here looking for Freya. I need her help." Keelin relaxes a little. "So your humanity is back on then?" she asks still wary, I simply nod my head, which makes her relax more.
"Thanks to your niece, of whom you don't remember, yes. Which is why I'm here. I found a spell that can help bring back everyone's memories and I need Freya to help reverse engineer it. So, where is she." "She went to Rousseau's to meet with someone who was asking around the quarter for her. Anyone, you know?" Keelin says as I walk to the exit. "My sister. She blasted me with the spell, I accidentally blasted my other sister, and she remembered Hope. And soon you all will, hopefully. Until next time Keelin, hopefully on better circumstances than the last two times." Then I vamp speed away.

Walking into Rousseau's a few seconds later, I see Freya put her hand on the table Josie is at. "Those aren't the kind of spells school kids should be messing with." I smirk as I make my presence known. "Oh but breaking the rules is so much fun." Recognizing my voice, Freya turns around. "Hello Freya. I see you've met my sister. And we need your help." "You both should go home." she says and she starts walking past me, I walk to the bark and order a glass of bourbon.
"Wait! You have photos in your home of, someone, you don't recognize. It feels like you should know them but you don't." Josie says, and this makes Freya pause. "How did you know that?" "We've all forgotten people. Doesn't matter what I say until you remember for yourself-" I interrupt Josie and hand Freya a drink. "That was made obvious over the summer. Now you've known me since I was what? Seven-ish? Though you might not remember it all given most of those memories are with Hope. So you know when I'm lying. So believe me when I tell you, Freya, the spell we need is the only way that you will remember." Freya gives me a glance. "You've turned it back on, haven't you." I simply nod, and I hold my glass up to her. We clink drinks and then down them. " Let's get to work." Freya and I say at the same time.
Hours. We've been at this for hours. I close my book and stand up, making them pause. "I'll be right back, I'm going to the car to grab my glasses, my eyes are strained." as I say this Freya looks at me confused. "You're part vampire how do you need glasses?" I shrug. "To be honest no one knows. My vision just gets blurry when I'm really tired or my eyes get strained. I'm sure once I die they won't do that. Till then, glasses." once I say that I head to the car.
When I get there, I take out my glasses, put them on, and feel my phone buzz for what feels like the thousandth time. Sighing, I pull it out and see another text from the school phone. Which means it's Lizzie.
(Lizzie)-
"You should really talk to Hope."
"She obviously loves you, Lil, she just didn't tell you bc she changed her mind about going back in the portal."
"Okay I'll stop. Tell Josie I love you both and I'll see you when you guys get back."
-(Me)
I still need time Lizzie. Yeah I'll tell Jo, see you in a few days. Love you.
Putting my phone back in my pocket, I head back inside. Only to find Freya walking out with her phone to her ear, she pulls it away for a second to speak to me, "Its Keelin, I'll be in in a minute." I simply nod and walk in.
I walk towards my sister and see her looking at photos. I smile, I was there for a few of them. "That one in the middle is Hope's aunt, Davina. And some women named Camille. She died when Hope was a baby but from what I've heard she was a great person. The one here-" I point the lower right picture, "That's Josh. He was a vampire, a very kind man. He died a little after Hayley did. Up there is Jackson, Hope's stepfather, also dead. That one there, is Freya and Keelin's wedding. It was beautiful. We were all just having fun. But this one-" I point to the one Josie was a starting at the longest. "That is my favorite. I took that picture. We were down in the bayou, joking around having fun. It was the first time I saw her smile after her parents died."
We just started at the picture for a minute until Freya spoke up behind us. "Who is she?" We turn to her, and she looks at Josie. "I knew you were hiding something from me. So tell me. How is it we both forgot the same person? And if you haven't told me that to begin with I can only assume it's because you haven't decided what to do with that spell. Have you?" at this I look to my sister in shock.
"I thought you told her! Jo, you can't seriously not want to bring back everyone's memories can you?" when I ask her this, she just looks away. So I turn to Freya. "That's Hope, Freya. She came back. And Josie blasted me with this spell to get a demon out of me. I used the same spell, but I blasted it out of me and hit our other sister. And then she remembered. So we came here to figure out how." before Freya could respond, Josie muttered the spell and knocked Freya out. "Jo!" I yell at her and go check on Freya. After making sure she still has a pulse, I pick her up, and we head to the car.
"Why are you putting her in the car?" Josie asks as she gets in the passenger seat. "We are taking her with us." Josie turns around in her seat at lightning speed to look at me as I put Freya down. "You're kidnapping her?!" I shrug and head to the driver's side. Once in, I answer her, "Not the worst I've done. Besides, we need to see if the spell worked, and if it did... It's Commonwealth Day, Hope should be able to see her family just like the rest of us. Well, except us I guess since mom is still overseas." we both frown at the end of my sentence.
"I've honestly considered taking a week off and go to see her. We didn't leave at the best of terms. I mean, I broke her neck. I haven't seen or spoken to her since " I say quietly as I start to drive to the airport. Josie just grabs my hand in comfort.

Third-person POV~
"Okay squad. We have a problem. And we're down two witches and a vampire because Josie and Lily are in Richmond for Commonwealth Day. Which is bad for us because-." Lizzie states, whilst looking at Rafael, Landon, Kaleb, and Kaleb's sister Kym. Hope speaks up, "A Croatoan came through the portal. It killed a councilman."
"Hold up, what the hell is a Croatoan?" Kaleb asks, and his sister snaps her fingers. "Hold up, the lost colony of Roanoke.  Seriously, not one of you?" she asks as everyone in the room shrugs. "I'll play, Roanoke. It's one of the first English settlements in North America until it just vanished without a trace." Landon says looking up at Kym. "And the only thing left behind was a word carved on a tree. 'Croatoan.'  What? I'm a history nerd. Why else would I be here for commonwealth day?" she says as everyone looks at her weirdly.
"Uh, ignore her. Bee visitation privileges are about to be revoked." Kaleb says, looking back to the group. "The monster is here, and it's after Landon so we need to get him somewhere safe." Hope claims, ignoring what Kaleb just said. "Um, no offense, but why is some girl from Mystic Falls giving us orders?" Kaleb's question is answered by Lizzie and Rafael speaking at the same time, "Because she's a witch" "Because she's a wolf."
"Most importantly she knows how to kill monsters." "Wait, share about the zombie? I thought Malivore could only send one monster at a time?" Rafael asks and Hope sighs. "Yeah, that's what we all thought." "Wait how in the hell do you know about Malivore?" Kaleb says defensively. "Oh I-I filled her in. Yeah. She killed the Oni, and killed a Minotaur, although that was mostly me." Lizzie states. "Wait there was a minotaur?" Landon asks and Lizzie scoffs. "yeah. Not everythings about you."

After deciding what to do, Hope got stuck tracking the monster with Rafael. "Got to admit, it's-its nice to get a break from town. You know crowds still get my heart racing " Rafael says to try and start up a conversation. "Can't be easy, to adjust being around people." Hope replies, getting and starting to walk. "Talking with you helps." Hope laughs, "Me? You don't even know me." she comments and he starts to stutter over his words.
"But I feel like I do. Like I'm-I'm supposed to or something. Lo-look-" Rafael stops her, "I know you probably have a couple- dozen guys, or-or girls that are interested in you, I-I-" Hope gives him a small laugh. "Yeah, well... That doesn't matter. I have a girlfriend. Who you know actually. Lily." Hope says with a small smile, but then it turns into a frown. "We're kind of fighting right now though. I hid something from her, and she got angry. Now she said she needs space to think, and I don't know. She hasn't... Really spoken to me in a few days. Or anyone for that matter." Hope says looking at the ground.
A while later, Hope and Rafael walk into the dungeon and Hope dies a spell that makes Lizzie's mouth disappear. Landon looks to her, "So this is about you." "Not the time. We need to figure out a way to kill this thing." Hope says and Lizzie tries to speak. Hope fixes her mouth and Lizzie speaks, "MG is working on it." "Rafael, take Landon to Dr. Saltzman, Lizzie and I will keep the Croatoan busy."

Freya woke up as the plane was about to land. "Oh good, she's awake Jo." Lily says putting her book down. Freya groans and holds her head. "Where am I? Is this... A plane?" she asks whilst looking at her surroundings. "Yeah. I kind of kidnapped you. We're about to land and then it's about a two hours' drive, ish. I wanted to know if the spell worked." Lily says calmly. Freya simply nods her head. Lily breaks out into a grin.
Once they land, Lily gets a call. "Hello?" she asks picking up the phone. "Its Rafael. Look I know you basically hate me and stuff, but there's another monster and it's after Lizzie and Hope. They need you." Lily's eyes go wide. "I'll be right there." With that, she hangs up, turns to Freya and tosses her her car keys. "I have to go like now. I'll see you both later." and then she speeds away.
When she gets to the school, she listens for two familiar heartbeats. When she hears them, she speeds to them, and find a strange-looking monster about to get them, then it senses her and starts walking to her. "Ugh, guys, what the hell is this thing and why is it chasing me!" Lily says as she vamp speeds to the other side of the room.
" It's a Croatoan, it feeds in secrets, clearly yours are bigger than the one we have about me being back." Hope explains as Lily switches the side of the room she on. "So spill Lil, what are you hiding. Say all your secrets." Lizzie says, clearly concerned for her sister's safety. "Uuuuuh do I have to?" Lily asks and the monster makes a noise, swinging a tentacle at her.
"OKAY! Uh, when I had my humanity off I got bored of killing people so I had a few one-night stands-" "Seriously?!" Lizzie asks and she cringes, Hope simply raises an eyebrow. "To be fair it was when I thought you were dead Hope, and they meant nothing. And to be fair, you literally jumped into a put that could have killed you so that not even that big of a deal." Just then the monster hissed again, and Lily moved away from it again. "That's not the secret!" Lizzie yells and Hope thought of one, "What did you see when you were possessed?!" Lily's face becomes one of fear, and she shakes her head. "Nope. I'm not telling! I'm not ready!"
"For god's sake Lily! If you don't you're dead!" Hope yells, "I am not losing you again remember! I promised I wouldn't leave you again! That works both ways! So tell us what you saw!" "I saw Kai Parker!" when Lily said that, the monster stopped chasing her. Then in turned to Lizzie and Hope. " It's not going to stop we tell our secret. That I'm back." Hope says as the back up into a punching bag.
"Yeah, well I'm back too" Lily states, and she starts doing the spell Freya helped them with. Ince the spell is released, a black mist goes everywhere, and everyone who forgot something passed out. Lily stood there for a second, then she passed out too.
"Oh my god Lily!" Lizzie and Hope yell at the same time. They go to her, and a few minutes later, she wakes up. "Hey, hey, are you okay?" Hope asks gently, Lily looks at both of them before she speeds away. Hope sighs in defeat.

Lily finds Landon being dragged by the Croatoan. She mutters a spell that makes vines wrap around the monster's legs. "Landon let's go you, bonsai boy!" "Are we really doing the nickname thing again!" he yells as he runs towards her. "Shut the hell up! I may not like you but as long as you are a student at the school I am supposed to protect you! So get behind me before I snap your neck!" Lily yells in an annoyed tone. The monster gets up and Lily turns towards it and does a spell, "Ventus" the monster gets thrown back.
"No offense but why aren't you with Hope?!" Landon asks angrily, his feelings for Hope resurfaced when the memories came back so he unconsciously is acting out. "Why don't you focus on your own relationship you hobbit and let me focus on mine!" Lily yells at him, and MG shows up. "Thank god you guys were arguing I could hear across town." MG holds up a necklace, "this belonged to the which that created that thing I thought maybe you could-" Lily takes it and holds it above one hand, "Finis habentis maleficia" and just like that, the monster starts to melt. "Do something like that" MG says and Lily just starts to walk away.

Lily was sitting at the dock staring out at the lake, when someone sat down next to her, the handed her back her car keys.
"I figured I would come see you first to return these." Lily glances at Freya before taking her keys back. "Josie became unconscious on the drive back. Anything to do with that spell?" Freya asks looking the young Salvatore. "I wasn't sure if Josie would bring back everyone's memories. Her-uh... Her boyfriend, Landon, he's always liked, Hope. And I don't think she wanted him to remember his feelings for her. It wouldn't help anyone. But, I knew it had to be done." Lily pauses and looks at Freya with a small smile. "Because you guys were missing a piece of your lives too."
Freya reaches up and wipes a tear from Lily's face, "Then why are you out here crying?" Freya asks and Lily looks away. "Because I remembered something from when I was little. About someone trying to kill me and my sisters, and who wants to kidnap me, make me a tribrid to see if it would work. He uh... He's in a prison world right now. But... When I was possessed by a demon, they showed me the future. And he gets out. And he finds me. And in really scared. He'll come after everyone I care about to get to me. And they won't even tell me who he is."
Lily sucks in a breathe. "And then I accidentally saw a memory from my sister the other day. And Hope said she was going to jump back in the Malivore pit to save everyone again. She didn't even think about any of us would feel. She just thought we would be better off without her and she forgot that I would be the only one to remember her. I just don't know what to do anymore. About anything. And I can't ask my mom because she across the world, and we're not on good terms. Alaric and I, I haven't spoken to him in months. My biological father is dead, again. And everyone else has their own problems to deal with."
After spilling out her thoughts to Freya, they just sit there for a minute, then Freya pulls her into a hug before speaking, "I think, you should trust the people you love. Tell them about that man, make them tell you who he is. Once you know that, you can take every precaution to keep you and everyone else safe. Don't worry about Landon. Our whole family has seen the way you and Hope look at each other. We saw it far before you did. You love each other, nothing will change that. You can't carry the world on your shoulders without a little help. Trust me I know. Open up, it doesn't have to be everyone, or all at once, but you need at least one person to help you deal with everything because doing it on your own will kill you."
Lily takes in what Freya told her, and then she tightens her hug, "Thank you." she pulls away and stands up, wiping away her tears. "Now, let's get you to your niece." Lily says with a soft smile as she helps the Mikaelson up.

When they walk up, they see Rafael leaving Hope. Hope looks at all the happy families in front of her, and she starts to cry. Her family isn't here. They probably don't even remember her. And even Lily isn't here because of what she was hiding.
Suddenly she hears a voice behind her. "Hope?" Hope turns around to see Freya standing next to Lily. "Aunt Freya?" Hope says, and she gets up, running to her aunt who pulls her into a hug. After a few minutes, Hope look up at her aunt, "How are you here right now?" Freya just looks over at Lily, who smiles sheepishly "Josie and I, didn't actually go to Richmond." With that, Hope pulls away from her aunt and hugs Lily. They stay like that for a second, and Hope has her head resting on Lily's shoulder. "Thank you." Hope whispers and Lily pulls away.
"Of course" she replies and kisses Hope's forehead. "Go, spend time with your aunt. I have to talk to my sisters." with that, Lily went home.

The twins found Lily in her secret room where her piano was. She was just playing random notes. "You haven't been in here in a while." Lizzie comments softly as they walking and sit near their sister. Lily let out a shaky breath and turns to them. "I need to know, who is Kai Parker?" the twins stiffen and glance at each other. "He is our uncle. A psychopath who killed Joe and the entire Gemini coven on her and dad's wedding day. He's also been through the merge. He's locked in a prison world, there's this thing called an ascendant, that keeps him there." Josie answered, and they watch as Lily looks away.
"He also tried to kill us once. I don't know, I guess it was a memory that I locked away. But I remembered it when I cast that spell to bring back everyone's memories." Lily says quietly. She looks to her sisters with a scared look, "Please don't let him out. Ever. That man, he's dangerous. When um..... When I was possessed... And the demon showed me glimpses of the future, he got out. He found me. And what he did, was awful. It was the worst pain I've ever felt. So promise me. You won't release him."
Upon hearing this, and seeing how scared their sister was, Lizzie and Josie both nodded their heads. "We're not going to let anything happen to you. You're our sister. We will always protect you." Lizzie says, and they all hug.
"Will you guys sing a song? I haven't heard you sing in forever." Lizzie asks and Lily smiles a little. "I can't promise it'll be happy song." Lily comments and Lizzie shrugs, clearly not caring. "Jo, I know you know this song. We used to watch this movie all the time as kids." Lily says quietly and she starts to play the piano.

Josie immediately recognizes the song, and she starts to sing first. Lily joins in not long after, it's a duet so they each have their own parts to sing.
As they're singing, Lizzie can't help but know, that this is how all three of them are feeling right now.
What none of them realize, is that Hope and Freya are by the door, watching the sisters'. Freya told Hope to go with Lily, knowing that the young girl probably didn't feel like explaining the same thing three times in one day. Hole dragged her aunt along though, not wanting to be without her while she's here.
Freya leans over to Hope and whispers "She has a lovely voice" Hope smiles before whispering back, "Yeah, I know." Freya smiles at Hope's face. It screams content, fondness, and unconditional love. It reminds her of how she looks at Keelin. "Just remember to invite me and your aunt, Rebekah, to go ring shopping in a few years." When Freya says this, Hope turns to her eyes wide, and she blushes. She doesn't say anything, she just looks back at the sisters as their song ends.
"Are you staying the night Freya?" Lily asks not even looking behind her yet. The Saltzman twins look behind them to see Hope and Freya there, eyes wide after Lily spoke to Freya without even looking behind her. Lily finally turns around to look at them. "If you are you can stay in Hope's room. She hasn't come back to school so she's just been staying in my room with me." Freya scrunches her eyebrows, and then Lily smiles before pointing to her ears. "Super hearing." she says and Hope just blushes more at the fact Lily heard Freya talk about engagement rings.
"I doubt the headmaster would let me stay here." Freya changes the subject back. Lily smirks before she walks up to them. "Well... There are perks to my name being in the deed to the property. You're more than welcome to stay if you would like to. Though I understand if you don't, you do have a kid waiting at home."
Freya decided to stay the night so she can spend time with Hope tomorrow morning before she leaves to go home.

Lily walked out of her bathroom in a towel, and went into her closet, she changed into some shorts and a sweater that exposed one of her shoulders. She walked out of her closet and went to her full-length mirror and started brushing her hair. When she was done, Hope walked into her room.
As Lily set down her hairbrush, Hope walked up to her and wrapped her arms around her waist from behind, using one hand to move Lily's beautiful blonde locks to the unexposed shoulder. Hope rested her head on Lily's shoulder, staring at her through the mirror with a smile on her face. Lily sighed in content and leaned into her girlfriend.
"Thank you." Hope says quietly and she places up Lily's shoulder and towards her neck slowly. "Mmmm, for what?" Lily asks, enjoying the contact. Hope kisses at the bottom of Lily's neck before responding, "Everything. My aunt. Helping with the monsters. Forgiving me. The random gestures you do. For being you. Everything." Hope explains through kisses.
Lily smiles and turns around in Hope's arms, wrapping her own around Hope's neck. "I love you." Hope says with a smile, and Lily matches it. "I love you too" she replies, and means in so their lips meet.
After that, they just lay in bed and cuddle until they fall asleep peacefully.
