Lily's POV~
Today is the day Hope officially comes back to school. I was helping her take two boxes of her stiff that's in my room and move it into hers. As we were walking there, Josie glances at us before basically running the other way. Seeing this, I sigh. "Don't worry. It's not just you. She's been avoiding me like the plague since Simu-Landon showed up." I say, glancing at Hope.
When we walk into Hope's room. We both freeze. "Uh... Hello?" Hope says, wondering if there was a person in here. Suddenly, Alyssa fucking Chang walks out from behind a changing wall. "Oh. It's just you two." "Alyssa? What's... All, of this?" Hope asks while looking around the room. "Oh I moved in while you were, forgotten. Or whatever. Your sides over there."
"How the fuck did you move in over the summer Alyssa? I put like 12 different spells on this room, including blood magic to keep prying little fingers away from here! You decided to spend all summer breaking them? Did you really have nothing better to do?" I almost yell at her, and she just gives me a blank look before completely ignoring what I said. "As I said, your side is over there." "I usually have a single." Hope responds as Alyssa slowing walks to the door. "That's what I had. Until this exact moment... I go to bed at 10, so no late-night visitors, including your serial killer girlfriend-"
"What the fuck did you just say?" I say in a venomous voice and start walking over to her only for Hope to grab my shoulder. "And I don't want ants, so no eating in the room." with that she makes her way to the door, as I'm about to speed over to her, I hear Hope set down the box she's carrying and grab me by my waist to keep me still.
Hope forces me to turn around in her arms and she looks at my eyes before raising an eyebrow. "Okay, after everything is settled, we should tests on you because your eyes are gold, and they haven't done that in a while and it's only when you're angry. But for right now, I need you to breathe." I do as she says, and by the look on her face, I can tell my eyes are back to normal.
Getting out of her grasp, I put my hands out and feel the magic around the room. Sighing in relief, I speak, "Thank god. That wench did undo all the spells." "What?" Hope asks, and instead of answering her, I mutter a spell and all the things that were cloaked appear. "I cloaked all the super important stuff. Your school records, some of your books, but most importantly, your paintings." I tell her before picking up the painting that her dad made her as a baby and the one they did together. This brings a giant smile to Hope's face. "Have I ever told you I loved you?" she asks, and then I smile sweetly before responding, "No. You haven't. I think you should say it right now." I tell her, reporting her words from a few days ago.
"I love you, Lily." I love you too. Now, get settled, and I will see you later." I tell her, kissing her cheek before leaving her be.

"Call if you need backup?" I hear Hope say as I round the corner, and see her speaking to Landon and Sebastian. "I can assure you I will be on my best behavior. Even a sidekick can handle me." Sebastian tells her and I smile as I make my presence known. "Good. Because personally, I don't want the Muppet King, near my girlfriend who his subconscious professed his undying love for. Repeatedly. In front of my face." once I say this, I start walking away again, only for Hope to catch up to me.
"Hey, what's wrong? You've been a bit testier today than normal." Hope asks me in a caring voice. "Honestly, I don't know. It's like my body is telling me something bad is going to happen, and I don't know what it is or when it's going to happen but I guess it's making me paranoid." I tell her, only half being honest. "Plus, I mean, Landon always seeming to be around you isn't very comforting. And I know that you love me and I'm not worried about that, it's just... I don't know, I don't know how to describe it, it just makes me uncomfortable and angry. Which is the whole reason I've been trying to avoid him so I can't avoid wanting to remove his head from his shoulders." After saying all that, I take a breath of frustration. "Look, babe, I'll uh... I'll see you later, right now there's something I have to do." With that, I walk away from her, remembering something important.
Walking into my room, I shut the door and lock it before walking over to the carpet, moving it, and taking the loose floorboard out and pick up the box Santa left me. Taking the box, I go sit on my bed and take the spell, ingredients list, and location of said ingredients, and hold them in my hands. Muttering a spell, they turn into a ring that I put on my finger so that no one can find them.

Walking to the stables, I see who I'm here for. "Leviathan! Hey buddy!" I say happily making the jet black horse in his stall perk up. "Yeah, I've missed you too bud. I know its been a while. But... How about we go for a ride?" I say and before long, he's sattled up and we're taking off to the woods.
After about an hour, we reach the Falls. Getting off, I let Leviathan roam around while I sit at the bank of the lake and clear my head.
After I'm not sure how long, we start heading back. We must have been out here a while because it started getting dark. But because I'm unlucky, Leviathan gets spooked by a snake and throws me off before running away. "Ugh! Great! Guess I'm walking back!" I yell as I stand up and start my long walk back to the school.

Aside from that whole shit day yesterday, today is going by okay. Thankfully, it's almost over, I'm meeting Hope in her room so she can get her textbook before we go study in my room. As I get there Hope is walking out angrily "Babe I'm crashing in your room tonight." I just smile happily, "Okay" then, Alyssa pops out and ruins my mood. "Have fun holding hands!" she yells at us, and I get an idea.
I quickly grab Hope, placing one hand on her hip and one on her neck before pulling into me and smashing my lips against hers hungrily. After a second I go and kiss her neck a few times before wrapping an arm around her waist and smirking at Alyssa, "Oh we'll be doing much more than holding hands. But I'll leave that to your imagination. I'm sure whatever you're going to think about is far more innocent than what I've got planned" When I say this, Alyssa's jaw drops and I send her a flirty wink, and then we start walking away.
After we get out of earshot, I turn to Hope who is blushing profusely. "I hope you know I was lying, Hope. I'm not going to force you into anything you're not ready for. Just figured I'd give her a taste of her own medicine." Once I finish saying that I kiss her cheek lightly. "I know, and I really appreciate that. It's just that, that caught me by surprise. But... It was really hot." "Yeah?" I ask and she hums in response with a sly smile, making us both laugh.
As we're about to walk into my room, Lizzie stops us. "Lil, Jo and so need you in dad's office tomorrow morning." she tells me and I nod my head, but before I could open my door, Lizzie smirks, making Hope and I raise an eyebrow. "What?" we ask her at the same time. "You might want to wipe my sister's red lipstick off your neck Mikaelson." with that, she walks into her room, leaving Hope and I almost as red as my lipstick.

It's Coven Day, which I'm not looking forward to. But right now, my sisters and I are in Alaric's office discussing what to do about the sand clock of doom. Lizzie is trying to freeze it. But almost as fast as she froze it, it unfroze. "Okay, that's, enough. We're trying to stop it from exploding, not speed up the process." Alaric tells her whilst taking the sand clock from her. "Now we have tried 12 different spells. This is... Not a problem that magic can fix."
"Well it's better than your solution of covering it in concrete and dropping it in the ocean." Lizzie retorts and I comment as well, "Yeah Alaric, think about how that would hurt the earth." "Maybe I deserve the black magic just boomeranging back to me." Josie says while slumping down in a chair. "Cut yourself some slack Jo, you made mistakes, you wouldn't be the first one to do it. Look how my summer turned out." I say the last part quieter than the rest.
"Wait, what if we tried dad's idea but better? Instead of dropping the discount lava lamp into the ocean, we drop it into a place where magic can't escape. The prison world." Lizzie starts, and Alaric objects bit I put my opinion in too, "No that's perfect! There's a celestial event happening tonight, a meteor shower, which is what we need to make the ascendent work, and some Bennett blood. Plus Kai tried to kill the three of us before, and he still wants to use me as some psycho torture experiment so it's not like we'd be hurting anyone who doesn't deserve it."
"No. I said no! I will figure this out. You three, don't do anything. Wait till I get back." Alaric tells us and roll my eyes and cross my arms. "Like you're figuring out the merge?" I say, making him turn around, "Lily!" he yells but I interrupt him, "What?! This is harder to figure out than the merge and you and mom have been looking into that for years! We don't have years to figure this out! That sand clock is literally a ticking time bomb that is going to break by the end of the week. If there was another solution don't you think we would have found in the library filled with information about magical objects?" "I said I'll figure it out." He tells us again before leaving the room.
I just shake my head and pull out my phone. "Who are you calling?" Josie asks me and I glance at my sisters with a smile. "Aunt Bonnie. If your dad doesn't find a way to do this by nightfall, we're going with Lizzie's idea, which means we'll need her blood. Or we make a new prison world." "That's it! Lily, hang up the phone!" Lizzie shouts at me and I do as she says. "Dad isn't going to let us near that prison world with our psychotic uncle Kai." Josie tells us and Lizzie responds, "So then we make a new ascendant and a new prison world." "But that takes a lot of magic." Josie comments, and then I speak up, "We did when we were five." "Yeah, with Aunt Bonnie." she tells us.
"Then we find someone to help us. Hell, it's Coven Day, we could get all the witch's to help." I say, and then no one objects, meaning it might work.

At around noon, I needed a break from all the reading and gathering things for the new ascendant, so I grabbed Hope and we did something we haven't done in a while. Spar.
After about ten minutes of swinging giant bamboo sticks, Hope sweeps my feet from under me, knocking me on my back. "Damn. You are not playing today are you." I say, and she helps me up before we start swinging at each other again. "Sorry. It's just... Alyssa Chang has me all worked up. That girl has no boundaries. She takes all my stuff and everyday she has a new scented candle. One of which smelled like bacon. I think she's trying to gaslight me."
"Well-" I pause as I knock Hope on her back, waiting for her to get back up before we start sparring once more, "Bullies do that. She's trying to get under your skin, make you snap. So... Here's three options, option one: do the nice thing, talk to her about it. I'm sure no one has confronted her before, it'll throw her off-" I pause to block a hit Hope swung at my ribs before continuing. "Option two: pounce back. Give her a taste of her own medicine, show her it's not cool, maybe she'll stop." "And option three?" Hope asks as we take a break. I shrug a smile at her, "You can always just come stay with me." I take a drink of my water before looking at her again. "Look, babe, you do you, but... You might want to try going in order of those suggestions. Try talking to her, if it doesn't work, try the other method. You wanna go again?" "Yeah." she nods her head, and we start sparring g again.

"Hey! Lily!" at the sound of my name I groan before facing the muppet who called me. "Look Big Bird, I really don't have time to want to rip your head off or have another version of you yelling about how you're in love with my girlfriend while you're dating my sister." "Yeah, really sorry about that by the way, but ugh..." when he pauses I raise my eyebrows to tell him to speak. When he doesn't, I roll my eyes and start walking away again. "W-wait!"
"Landon! I'm busy trying to help my sister get rid of a literal magic time bomb that could kill her. If you have something to say, say it while I walk to where I need to be!" I yell over my shoulder but not slowing my pace to the library.
"Okay, I know this is the last person you want to hear me talking about but, Hope is acting strange." he says as he tries to catch up with me, making laugh dryly. "She's acting strange around you? Big shocker. What of it." "No not around me, well yes she's acting strange around me but that's not the point-" "Then get to the point firebird before I literally light you on fire for wasting my time." I tell him as we reach the library and I head to the magic search stone we have.
"She's acting like Alyssa Chang." "Oh. Then plan B of being civilized and talking to her didn't work. Hope is giving her a taste of her own medicine. And I say again, big shocker how?" I ask as I finish moving around the search thing and two books pop out, making me grab them.
"It's not just Hope. The whole school is acting like a bunch of Alyssa Chang's and Lizzie Saltzman's and no offense, but you." This makes me put my books down on the table and look at him. "I take no offense to it bird brain, I'm a bitch, I know I'm a bitch, and I don't care. But this bitch is very good at solving the monster problems you brought to our school." I tell him before waving hands and more books pop out of the shelves. "Grab those. Now and let's go before I change my mind about helping you." I tell him as I grab my own books and walk out.

Sitting on the ground in Landon's room, he's probably gone through one and a half books, I've gone through like seven. "Okay unless this is like an angry slug thing, we're out of luck because nothing in these talks about monsters making people act like dicks." I tell him as I move onto another book, speed reading through it before moving onto the next.
When we hear a knock at the door, we look up, "Hey, Wade. Uh, you know I'm always down for more adventures of worrier and G'nash the bugbear but we got an emergency brewing here." Landon says before he looks back at his book and I move onto yet another book. "Wow, I never thought I would you two in the same room blet alone working together." Wade says and I smile sarcastically, "Desperate times Wade." I reply before grabbing another book. "Does it have anything to do with Hope acting like Alyssa Chang 2.0? Because, I have a theory." Wade replies, while holing up the book he has. I vamp speed to him and flip through the book. "A Qareen?" I say while reading the page.
"It's an Arabian monster that whispers insecurities and feeds off discord." Wade explains and Landon looms confused, "It's superpower is making people angry?" "No mop head it like, gets off on the strife created when people yell at each other. It continues to make people angry, getting stronger, infecting more people until it can materialize into our physical plane." I explain as I read, and Wade nods his head before explaining more, "Right now it's out of phase, it's invisible and intangible." "I thought Malivore was closed." "I don't know how it got here, but it's definitely real. I saw it." when Wade said this Landon and I both look at him questioningly. "You said it was invisible." I tell hem, and he shakes his head a little before replying. "Not to fairies."
"Okay, Wade. Welcome to the hero squad. You're the only one that can see it which means you are the only one that can fight it. Let's go." I tell him, but he and Landon both stop me. "Uh, I don't-" Wade starts but I stop him, holding up my hand. "Wade. Here's the deal. If only you can see him, you're literally the only one that can fight this thing. And the book said something about blasting him with dust? So I'm guessing it's the pixie dust from your wings. Faith trust and pixie dust Wade. Let's go." I tell him before pulling them both out of the room.

"Well where is it?" I ask as Landon and I follow Wade around the corner of a hallway. "I don't know I lost it." "Lost what? Landon's fashion sense or Lily's virginity? Sorry! I didn't mean that." Hope says as she and Lizzie walk up to us. "No it's cool I lost that almost two years ago." I tell her with a slight shrug. "We're looking for the Qareen, it's a monster that makes people act like-" I finish Wade's sentence turning to my sister, "Us."
"It's invisible, only fairies can see it." Wade tells them and Lizzie looks at before turning to Hope, "Do you want to take this it should I?" "It's too easy to even get any pleasure out of it. Sorry." she responds and I have to hold back a laugh. "Look we just have to find it, it's getting stinger by the minute soon it will able to exist in a not, fairy, plane. Or whatever." Landon says and Lizzie and I speak at the same time, "It is so less impressive when you give the hero speeches." "Nope. That was all me." my sister says with a smile, making me chuckle. "Okay, Wade. New plan." I tell him before grabbing his arm. "I'm going to take you, speed around the school, and when you see it, yell stop. And... ready set go." before anyone has time to react, I take off.

The monster was basically avoiding us like the plague. So, I did what any rational person would do. Left the fairy and the flightless bird boy in the library, and went back to my own problems. I walking into Alaric's office and sat next to Josie. "I got all the things to build the ascendant, and the how-to instruction manual book. We can bibbity-boppity-boo this thing into a new prison world tonight." I tell her and she just looks at me worriedly and closes her book as we hear the door open. "This isn't gonna work guys. After what happened with Clarke, I'm nervous to do, even the smallest spells. I'm worried that the magics gonna backfire." "Well Jo, that's what you have sisters for-" I tell her but stop when we see a monster in the reflection of the sand clock.
Before I even get a chance to try and speed over to it, it's behind me and it hits my head on the desk, making everything go black.

"Josie. Lily. Wake up. Jo, Lil, are you guys okay?" is what I hear as someone shakes me awake. I swat the hand that's shaking me away. "I'm up. Just give me a minute." I say as I touch the aching spot on my head and hissing a little as the cut there heals. "Oh my god what happened?" Hope asks and she kneels down and helps me sit up. "Monster." Josie says as Lizzie does the same for her. "Uh, Emma put up a barrier spell so the Qareen is stuck in here with us." Landon says as Josie and I stand up.
"It took the sand clock." "The sand clock. Why?" Hope asks and Lizzie is the one to reply, "It doesn't matter we just need to get it back. Okay, we are four badass witches and one, moderately competent bird." "Except if that sand clock gets damaged it could brake and all of that magic will fly back into Josie and it could kill and take the school with it." I tell them as we try to think of what to do. "I have a plan. None of you are going to like it. But I'm doing it anyway! M'kay? Yep. Be right back." I tell them and speed off.
"Wade! Put your fairy ass in gear, we have a monster to fight." I tell him as I start to play him in foosball. "Why? It's like Hope said earlier. I'm useless." he answers solemnly. "Well duh. That because fairies run on belief. Have you never seen Tinker Bell?" I tell him and Landon backs me up as he walks in. "Lily's right. I did some more research and the more people that believe in you, the more power you have." "Yeah but no one believes in me." he responds and Landon answers him quickly, "I do. You saw the Qareen first. You weren't affected by its powers and when I was hanging out with you, it didn't affect me."
"All it takes is one true believer Wade. And you got two." I tell him with a smile. "Ate people calling my name?" he asks as we hear people chanting. "Now come on. Faith! Trust! And Pixie Dust!" I yell as I wrap my arms around Wade and lead him out of the room. "Its actually fairy dust-" "Wade go watch Tinker Bell. It's Pixie dust, just go with it." I tell him before continuing to walk.
I split up with Wade and Landon to go grab two giant chains from the werewolf cellars before coming. To the dining hall and seeing Landon fighting the Qareen.
"Damn it muppet! I have to say your ass AGAIN when I don't even like you!" I yell as I swing the chains, watching as the wrap around the Qareens torso. But before that happens, it snaps Landon's neck. "Okay jackass, hold still." I say as I speed around it wrapping the chains a little more, making sure not to put any on the sand clock, before staying behind it and planting my feet, keeping it in place.
"Wade! Faith, trust and pixie dust! So fucking pixie dust it before it kills me for throwing it into a wall!" I yell at him as the monster tries to get loose. "I can't! It's not working, they're not really believing." he tells me and I tell back, "Listen to me, Wade. Forget about them. I am a living vampire! Hope is a tribrid! Landon is a fucking firebird and Santa Claus is real! So believe me when I tell you, that I know you are a fairy! Landon knows you're a fairy. So fairy up, and price everyone else wrong. We believe in you."
Suddenly, wings come out. "Oh shit! Big fairy wings" I say as Wade walks past everyone and shoots pixie dust from his wings, making the Qareen disappear. As the sand clock starts to fall, I speed over and catch it before it hits the ground. "Yes, Wade! Now that, is some faith trust and motherfucking pixie dust!" I tell him while patting his shoulder lightly. I gently hand the sand clock over to Josie, and as she grabs it, it cracks more, making us look worried.

"I still don't like this idea." Alaric tells us as my sisters and I are in his office. "None of us do." Josie replies and Lizzie stops her pacing and looks at Alaric, "But we have to something before the fishbowl of doom fractures again." "This is our only good plan. The ticking time bomb is counting down the minutes and if it breaks anywhere in the world, it goes straight back into my sister. I'm not letting that happen." I tell him with a serious face. And he thinks for a moment. "Time features. The prophecy. You're right. We've gotta get a move on this now." Wait you're letting us do this?" Lizzie and I ask simultaneously.
"Well m-my bomb expert didn't give me great advice on what to do with this but she did give me great advice on letting you girls solve your own problems."Â "Well I like this mysterious demolition expert. Does she have a name?" Lizzie states and Alaric evades the question. "Are you sure you guys can handle this?" "Not alone. But we have help." Josie answers quickly.

Josie, Lizzie and I stand in the middle of the witch circle with the sand clock and the pieces of the ascendant. "I'm sorry for dragging you guys into this Josie tells us as we set up the pieces. "I'm sorry I didn't know you needed help." "Me to Jo-Jo." I say with a small sad smile. "I love you guys." Lizzie tells us, and Josie and I speak up at the same time, "I love you too." then, we walk side by side to one side of the circle and join hands, me in the middle of both of them.
"Does anybody else feel like we're doing the Carebear Stare?" I ask quietly, only to be elbowed by Lizzie, "Ow!" "Lily! Now is not the time to be quoting every movie you've ever seen!" she tells me in an angry whisper as Emma speaks.
As we all focus, the ascendant rises and puts itself together, and then it falls to the ground. "One spell down one to go Jo-Jo." I tell her with a smile as we walk up to the sand clock, Alyssa hands up the ascendent "We all gotta stick together, right?" she says and goes back into the circle.
Josie pours a vile of our mixed-blood onto the sand clock, the three of us put one hand on the sand clock, and one hand holding into the ascendant, and we all start to say the spell.
After repeating it for a minute, the sand clock glows a little before disappearing. "We did it. It's gone." Josie says with a smile and the three of us hug before walking over to Hope, hugging her as well. "Thank you for helping me keep my sister safe." I say to her quietly and she tightens her hold on me before replying in the same tone, "Always Little Star."

Lizzie and I are cuddled up in her bed as we watch Josie walk around their room. "Shouldn't you two be out celebrating? Your plan worked." she asks us and I shrug lightly. "Yeah, but with the drama over I don't have anything to distract myself anymore." Lizzie answers and Josie walks over to us. "Distract yourself from what?" when she sees Lizzie tearing up, she lays down on the other side of her and we both rest our heads on her. "It's okay to miss him Lizzibear." I tell her as I tighten my hold on her.
"I know Sebastian wasn't a great guy, but, still. It hurts you know?" she says and I nod my head a little. "More than you realize." I answer. Just then, Hope walks in. "Got room for one more in the cry pile?" she asks and we all scoot over so she can lay down too. "I still have that feeling something bad is about to happen." I tell them, and Lizzie speaks up, "Why? We banished the sand clock, all is well. Ish. Maybe you're just being paranoid."
Right after she said that, there a flashing white light and we bounce on the bed like we were falling. When we sit up, Hope isn't there, and the room looks different. "Well, Lizzie. I'd say I was paranoid for good a reason." I tell her as we all get up and go downstairs.

"Dad? Where are we?" Lizzie asks as we walk into the living room. "No. No no no no." I say quickly as we look around. "We're in a prison world." he tells us, making me freak out even more. "I thought you said the worlds would be identical." Josie tells him, and I shakily speak, knowing exactly where we are. "It's not the one we made today... This is the one we made when we were kids. Why are we here?" I ask him, calming down slightly, but still alert.
"I'm guessing Alyssa Chang wants to teach me a lesson." "For what?" Lizzie asks this time. "A miseducation of young minds." Turning to the voice, Sebastian walks in. "Sebastian?" "Hello, Elizabeth. Fancy meeting you here." with that, we all turn to look at Alaric. Each with a different emotion on our faces.
(A/N)- I finally finished this chapter after waking up today and seeing that I had 20k reads on this book! I'm shocked! Like that you all so much I didn't realize people would love this book! In all honesty, I start writing it because I thought of a way it could go differently with another character added and thought maybe someone else thought the same.

If not, cupid episode summery: basically the same shit only Hope is even more annoyed than normal in that episode bc obviously... Lily is trapped with someone who hates her and her sisters for some psychotic reason only Kai Parker will know. Landon is an idiot and wants his head ripped off by Lily by continuing to say he loves Hope even though she doesn't love him and never will, and at the end of that episode, Hope gives him a piece of her mind about professing said one-sided love.
