After some a steamy make out, we came downstairs where Sam was watching TV. The kid was just down here while I was up there pouring my life out. Huh wow.
That night we cooked together while we got to know more about each other. Small simple stuff like favorite color, animal, etc.
It was fun and comfortable. For the first time in years I truly felt happy and safe. I forgot all about Brandon still being out there and how Zeiden still didn't have his memories back and relaxed.
After diner we watched The Lion King and fell asleep on the couch.
***
The next morning
"Aye...aye...captain.
I can't hear you......" I woke to the sound of spongebob's theme song from the tv. I opened my eyes to see Sam on the ground in front of me absorbed in the show signing along. (Get it absorbed, hehe).
He was so into the show that I was able to sit up and he still didn't notice me. I looked around realizing I fell asleep. I had realized that Sam and Zeiden fell asleep and I was going to take Sam up stairs but ended up looking at Zeiden sleep and must have dozed off. By the way, where is he now?
"Who live in a pineapple in-'' I turned to Sam kissing his cheek as I picked him up and into my lap.
"Morning, baby boy." I greeted him between kisses as he giggled trying to push me away.
"Morning, mommy." He said once he took enough deep breathes when I let him go. He looked up at me and I turned my head so he could kiss my cheek which he did.
"Where's Zeiden?" I asked him as he turned back to his show.
"Kitchen." He mumbled the song under his breathe. I smiled at how much he loved that show. I remember the countless mornings with Lucky Charms and Spongebob that we spent in the living room. He would never get tired of Spongebob with his cute toothy grin.
I laid him in the couch walking out the living room and into the kitchen. Before I even got there, I could smell the aroma of pancakes. I walked in to see him with his ruffled hair flipping pancakes with his back to me.
I smiled admiring his tall frame and broad shoulders that had grown from the first time I had seen him at school. I could see the muscles flex under his shirt as he moved making me lick my lips. I was hunger but not for pancakes.
I quietly moved over the kitchen sliding my arms around his waist. He jumped surprised as he turned his head down to me. "Rue." He breathed out with a full smile. My heart literally stopped at that moment and the knot in my stomach tightened. Ahh hell! How can he be so cute this early in the morning.
I could help but lean up on my tippy toes and peck his lips giggling as he blushed softly. I buried my head in his back breathing in his rain and peppermint scent.
After a moment he began to moved again and I didn't let go the whole time very comfortable in my position. With my arms around his firm body I could feel his hard surface under my hands. I slowly moved them across his abdomen as he shivered at my touch.
"Mmmm...." I moaned softly as I ran my hand up his hard chest. I gently kissed his back as he shivered again. I absolutely loved how he reacted to my touch.
"Rae..." His unstable voice breathed out when my other hand trailed down playing along the bottom of his shirt and jeans.
"Yes, mon doux cerf." I mumbled kissing his back gripping him closer to me. I heard the stove turn off then he turned in my arms. He wrapped his arms around my waist much less bashful than before. Not that I didn't like him like this but I did kind miss the shy him.
He stopped when he looked down at my face not moving. "What?" I asked him smiling as he lifted his hand to my cheek.
"You look beautiful." He whispered sound more like a prayer than a statement. I chuckled knowing that my hair was probably wild and my cheek marked with lines from where I slept.
"You are too cute for your own good." I said before I pulled him down to my lips again with both my hands around his neck.
His lips were soft and warm the knot in my belly tightening making me cross my legs as I felt myself getting aroused. I pulled his hair tightly and he let out a hot and sexy moan in my mouth. I kissed him harder with more force really hoping Sam's show was loud enough to drown out our sounds.
"Pick me up." I said before jumping and his hand automatically gripped the back of my thighs. He turned around siting me on the counter next to him not once breaking our kiss.
I wrapped my legs around his hips pushing my body impossibly closer to his. His hands went down to my hips holding me still as he leaned over me kissing me harder. I opened my mouth letting him enter my mouth.
He was adorable as he slowly hesitatingly massaged my tongue unsure of himself. I never hated oxygen so much in my life that at that moment. We pulled apart breathing hard staring into each other's eyes.
I pressed my forehead against his trying to control my breathing. "That...that was...." he breathlessly tried to form words but stopped taking in huge gulps of breath.
"...hot." I finished smiling seeing a beautiful soft blush rise across his cheeks.
Nevertheless he nodded digging his head into my neck. Hey that's my thing. I was about to complain when I felt his hot breathing on my neck sending a shiver down my back. Ohh god.
Then he kisses my neck and I almost fainted. It sent shocks all over my body making me gasp. I gripped the back of his hair harder pushing his head against my neck. He kissed my neck again but this time with a hot open mouth kiss and sucked the spot making me moan loudly. He gripped my hips tighter.
"Zeiden, you have to stop," I breathe out with the last self control in me, "I don't think I can't control myself for much longer." I explained my breathing coming down heavily.
I felt him kiss my neck once more then step away from me his eyes darkened and intense with desire. I sighed feeling my heart pull when he pulled away. I gripped the counter tightly calming my heated body.
"I...I'll...um...get changed." I said before rushing out the room feeling it getting hot the air suddenly too thick. As soon as I was out I pressed my back to the wall trying to clear my lust filled mind.
I walked up to my room checking my phone and seeing that it was 10:15am. These days I seem to sleep so much better. I was already late for pack business so I decided to not go today. I sent a quick text to Thomas that I wasn't going to work and took a quick shower.
When I got out I decided a turtle neck creamy white long sleeve shirt and black jeans with black vans. As I got dress I looked outside to the see cloudy sky and windy weather. I know that others would usually rather not go out on days like this but I enjoyed this weather outside.
It had been some time since I went out into the woods. Maybe I can go the open field a few miles in the woods that Sam and I found a few years ago. I will just make sure my men patrol the border more tightly today and contact me at any sign of trouble no matter how small. And I did before I went downstairs. I texted Thomas again to talk to the guards on patrol.
Today I planned to spend the whole day relaxed. Tomorrow we had the ceremony for initiation Zeiden into the pack. Thomas had gotten the invitations sent to other packs and the pack mates had everything ready. It was going to take place in the back yard at midnight when the moon is highest. I didn't wanted Zeiden to be nervous about it.
I climbed down stairs and into the kitchen to see Zeiden placing a plate of pancakes for Sam. He looked up as I walked in bushing, "sit down. I will get you a plate." I smiled at how shy he was when just minutes before he seemed the exact opposite.
I sat down next to the plate of pancakes that was already served most likely his. I was right he set my plate down then settled next to me. "Thank you." I said kissing his cheek as Sam dug in his food.
"Yo-yo-your welcome." He stuttered trying to hide his smile. We began to eat.
"Want to go out for a picnic, Sam?" I asked Sam who had syrup all over his mouth as he happily ate.
He looked up at me with bright gleefully eyes nodding excitedly. "In the forest?" He asked having the same idea as me. I nodded back as he jumped in his seat 'yay'ing.
"Then hurry up finish eating and go get your coat." I smiled at him as he nodded finishing his food and putting his dishes in the sink before rushing out the kitchen.
"Would you like to go?" I asked Zeiden nervously. He looked at me surprised smiling softly before nodding. "Great!" I exclaimed excitedly as I finished my food.
Once ready we began walking into the woods. I leaded the way as Sam jumped over the roots of the trees laughing and running around excitedly. He was always exited whenever we went to the field. He would spent hours in that field until we had to go.
"Just a little farther." I told Zeiden as he trailed behind me breathless. I could see it was harder for him since not only was it colder but he didn't have any of the werewolf enhanced abilities. I carried the basket with the food and blankets not even a bit tired.
I could see how every time he huffed out a cloud of fog came out. I keep forgetting that for humans it was much colder than I felt. Now I felt bad. Even though he was wearing a thick hoodie and jeans with some converse shoes he must still be cold.
I kept glancing back at him worriedly the whole way to the field. Sam the little ball of endless energy rushed pass me and into the last line of trees that hide the field of grass. "It's just over there." I said waiting for him to come as I pointed to the trees Sam disappeared into.
We walking pass the trees and I saw the football size field of grass. It had beautiful white Algerian Iris flowers that grow in winter.
I turn to Zeiden to see him looking at the field in awe. He was so beautiful. I mean it is beautiful.
Aww I kidding the field or any other place doesn't begin to match this man beside me. His cheeks are a cute rosy color from the wind and his lips are bright red. His eyes are dark and his hair a light auburn brown color.
I let him stay there and walk to the huge tree that overlooked the field. The tree's branches were so long that they almost touched the ground. The branches also protected the base of the tree form the wind. I settled the basket down and took out the blanket laying it at the base of the tree. "Zeiden! No! No!" I could heard Sam's shrieked behind me letting out a round of laughter. I turned to see Zeiden chasing Sam as he dashed across the field. I smiled hearing their laughters being carried in the wind.
I sat down watching them run feeling my heart at ease, my body relaxed. I could feel the wind moving my hair and felt sleepy even though I had just slept for hours. But my body begged for sleep and soon my mind drifted to asleep.
**
I slowly opened my eyes blinking as my mind processed the sound around me. It was giggling. I looked to see Sam a few feet from me with Zeiden.
Zeiden was holding Sam on his arms as he threw Sam in the air bring another round of giggles from Sam. I stretched my body as I yawned feeling so refreshed. I looked down to see two blankets over me.
I looked at Sam and Zeiden when I felt my stomach growl. How long was I asleep that I am hungry again?
I took out my phone from my back pocket to see it was now 3:07pm. Wow about four hours.
"Mommy!" I heard a voice squeal and a energy ball came knocking into me.
"Hey, baby boy." I held Sam as he hide in my arms.
He whispered, "hide me." Under the blanket as Zeiden came running behind him but stopped surprise to see me awake.
"You're up." He stated.
"Yeah, why didn't you wake me up soon? I sleep for hours." I complain as he walked closer.
"You just looked so peaceful. I couldn't wake you up." He said pressing a finger to his lips. "Where is Sammy?" He asked out loud slowly moving closer. Sam giggles softly snuggling closer to me.
"Here you are!" Zeiden exclaimed as he gripped Sam's small waist. Sam squealed giggling. Zeiden began to tickle Sam with a grin and Sam failed his arms around trying to get away. Cute.
Once Sam finally escaped Zeiden's grip he rushed of into the field again. Zeiden looked at him run making no moves to go after him. "He likes you a lot." I stated smiling looking out as Sam studied the flowers around him.
"Me too." Zeiden said softly smiling. The wind had picked up and I could see Zeiden trying to hide his shivering.
"Here," I said passing the blankets over to him but he refused pushing them back to me, "take the damn blankets. I don't need them and you clearly do. You are going to get sick at this rate and you have the ceremony tomorrow." I said handing them back to him.
He sighed but leaned against the tree covered in them just a few inches away from me. We looked over as Sam moved across the field in silence until he spoke, "Maybe I shouldn't do the ceremony tomorrow." I turned to look at him as he kept his gaze on Sam.
"Why do you say that? You don't want to join the pack? Is it because of someone or some-'' he interrupted.
"It's nothing like that," he sighed finally turning to me, "it's just that....what if they don't like me?" He asked and I could see how nervous he was. His eyes were swarming with doubts and his mind racing with possibilities.
I smiled at him. "What there not to like?" I questioned making him blushed. "Plus what if they don't. I will always like you." I said trying to reassure him. I think.
He blushed deeper before whispering, "thanks."
"Anytime." I replied. I looked back at the field. "You know, this field always seems to have some sort of flowers growing. The white flower right now are called Algerian Iris. They are by most my favorite especially when it snows and they pop out on the fresh blanket of snow. It is like stars in a white sky." I told him.
"I imaging it must be very pretty then." He comment.
"It is." I said imagining it. "Maybe I can bring you to see them after it snows." I smiled at him. He looked at me with a grin agreeing.
Just then my stomach growled again bringing my attention to my hungry stomach. It seems to have caught Zeiden's attention too. "How about we eat now?" He suggested.
I grabbed the basket beside me taking out the sandwiches, chips, fruits: grapes, apples, strawberries, and berries, and the cans of coke. I placed Sam's food out for when he got hungry and quickly took out mine.
I instantly began to eat my two baloney sandwich in a matter of seconds. I laid back slowly popping the hot Cheetos into my mouth. Zeiden looked at me with a slightly shocked look. I blushed realizing I wasn't acting very ladylike. "Sorry."
"No...no it just," he chuckled shaking his head, "never mind."
I frowned grumbling, "what?" But he just shook his head smiling. "Tell me!" I softly growled curious.
He let out a ring of laughter clutching his stomach. "You really do have the stomach of a grown man." He let out between his laughter. I just looked at him more confused than ever. Once he calmed down he explained, "Thomas told me that you could eat for three grown men and I couldn't believe him but it seems like he was right. I mean you practically swallowed the tiny sandwiches." He let out another round of laughter.
I grumbled under my breath about Thomas. He was always embarrassing me. I swear next time I see him I will give him a serious beating. "That's not true!" I grumbled trying to defend myself but was useless as he kept laughing his butt off. And I couldn't even be mad because his laughter was so beautiful.
I jumped over the food and on to him pining his arms down. I sat over him and he immediately stopped laughing automatically grabbing hold of my hips. His quick moves made me smile. He seemed to get to used to this already. "Take it back...or else..." I whispered next to his ear.
He looked up at me with a mischievous looking in his eye sending a shot of excitement down to my belly. He rolling us over so he was on top of me. "Or else what?" He whispered in my ear like I had just done.
"Or else...," I could feel the fire inside me and my wolf on the edge of my mind. But not in a dangerous way if was more of a playful intention. I had already seen that I wouldn't hurt my mate so I let the fire come out instead of trying to separate us I tried to mix with it. I let my eyes change into a the fire blue hue lowering my voice in a seductive tone, "...you will regret it." I flashed my fangs leaning up to his neck.
"You don't know how much I want to mark you." I whispered nipping his neck feeling him shudder.
"Then do it." He moaned flipping us over so I was on top again. I looked at him shock at his words.
"Wh-wh-what?" I asked stuttering.
"You hear me. Do. It. Mark me." He smiled up at me touching my bare skin as my shirt rode up. My skin jumped with the tingles from his touch.
"Ar-are you sure?" I asked hesitant dragging my eyes from his neck where I imagined my mark on him to search his eyes for sincerity.
"Completely." He stated confidently his eyes fixed on mine with determination.
"It will hurt for just a second." I whispered to him. I slowly leaned down taking in his scent. The sweet fresh rain mixed in with his mint aroma. I kissed his skin softly down to his spot that will soon bare my mark.
I could feel my eyes flash blue again as I pierced his soft smooth skin with my fangs. I heard him whimper under me letting out a soft cry of pain. The connection formed instantly.
It was like our souls mixed together in that moment. It had no form, no beginning or ending. It was just two beings, two souls entwined together. I heard him moan in pleasure under me feeling the after effects of it.
I slowly and carefully retracted my fangs licking up the trail of blood form the wound kissing the spot that now had my name written in a beautiful elegant handwriting. I took in another breath of his scent able to detect mine now mixed in.
My stomach did flips like a damn gymnastic. I looked down at my mark with pride loving at he was mine. "Mine. Mine. Mine." I whispered kissing his skin. In the moment of bliss the words on my mind since I meet him slipped out, "I love you."
