Author's POV

As her eyes met his for the first few seconds, she thought it was a dream. But then, her gaze shifted, catching the eyes of another person-none other than Armaan. The sight of him jolted her back to reality, grounding her in the moment and dispelling any lingering sense of disbelief.

But Armaan's eyes were not on her. Instead, they were focused on the people behind her, who were trying to talk to each other about a new change in their office.

As she realized what was happening, she quickly stood up. A look of surprise crossed her face, but she quickly tried to look calm and professional. "Ji sir," ( yes sir )she said, then added, "good morning sir." Her formal greeting hid the sudden worry she felt inside as she tried to adjust to the situation.

Even Aadi realized what he had done by now. He glanced around at everyone and replied, "Good morning, everyone."

They all answered at the same time, which really annoyed him.

He turned and went to his cabin. Just before leaving, he said something to Armaan. Avantika was about to sit down when Armaan came up to her and said, "Miss, can you come with me?"

"Ji " she replied and followed him .

As Armaan and Avantika stepped into Aadish's cabin, he greeted them with a curious tone, "Miss Avantika, you are new here, right?" His words hung in the air, prompting Avantika to exchange a glance with Armaan.

In a gesture of deference, she nodded her head while replying, "Ji sir," ( yes sir )her demeanor respectful and obedient.

In a dim room, Aadish got annoyed and told Avantika, "You can call me Mr. Rajawat." Avantika felt surprised by his serious tone, wondering why he suddenly wanted to be called by his last name.

Avantika hesitated, her voice trembling slightly as she addressed him with the deference of a subordinate. The air in the room felt heavy with anticipation, the silence stretching between them like an unspoken question. "Is there any work or should I leave,... sir " The weight of the word "sir" hung in the air, echoing with a sense of respect and formality.

Aadish felt a surge of determination. "You wanna play the game, bachha , then let's fulfill your wish," he thought to himself. His eyes narrowed, and a small smile appeared on his face. He knew the challenges ahead, but he was ready.

She wasn't even willing to look in his direction properly.

"Yes, I have work. I urgently need a PA, as Armaan, your senior, is taking leave for a few months," Aadish said while working on some files. In front of him, two people stood with their mouths open, looking as if they'd just heard their death notice.

Armaan was not ready for something like this from Aadish. Armaan had been working with Aadish for so many years, and they had never heard of him taking leave. He was so happy about it and had already made plans to do so many things.

Armaan and Avantika exchanged a tense glance as they spoke simultaneously.

"Yes, I am going for 3 months on leave," Armaan declared with a resolute tone.

"No, I can't do this," Avantika protested, her voice carrying a note of frustration.

The room fell silent as the weight of their words hung in the air. They stared at each other, a mix of surprise and determination reflecting in their eyes. Both had made their decisions clear, yet the juxtaposition of their statements revealed the underlying tension and the unspoken complexities of their shared situation. The moment was charged, hinting at deeper conflicts and contrasting priorities that would inevitably need to be addressed.

"Sir, but I'm new here. I'm not sure I can handle all of this by myself," Avantika pleaded, her eyes wide with uncertainty as she looked at Aadish. However, Aadish, like a seasoned professional, ignored her plea, knowing full well what was at stake.

" Ek baar dekh liya to mana nyi kar payege "

(Once i've seen you, i won't be able to refuse you.")

While Armaan chimed in cheerfully " hum jaye boss "

"Aadish said to Armaan, 'Yes, you can leave,' while Avantika stood still, her pleading face unchanged."

Aadish, noticing her distraction, spoke up. "So, Miss Avantika, I know it's gonna be a tough job for you, handling both college and office work together. But don't doubt your skill this easily. Remember how easily and confidently you answered in the interview? Just a little eye contact was missing there," he said.Avantika, still admiring the tiles, nodded slightly, absorbing his words." May be more handsome than our Aadish ji "

Avantika stood , quietly saying to herself, "Aap na hote to usse bhi achha hota mera interview, nilli aankho walle manav." ("If you weren't there, my interview would have been an even better, blue-eyed man.")She was glad Aadish didn't hear her. His presence had made her nervous during the interview.

She had wanted to do well and show her strengths. Instead, she got distracted by Aadish's intense blue eyes and stumbled over her words. Although she couldn't ignore his charm, she was frustrated by how much he had thrown her off. Her quiet words were a mix of regret and irritation, a brief moment of honesty in her otherwise calm appearance.

Aadish asked Avantika"Did you say something avantika " She didn't look at him, keeping her attention elsewhere. I am freaking sure this gurl is really gonna be dead to aadish one day .

She replied, still standing, "No, boss."

Aadish gestured to a single sofa behind Avantika and said, "Sit here. Someone will move your things here."

"Why " "Why?" she asked, her tone more like a cry. "Aise dukh Kam na hai bhole ab inko kaise btau 2 saal purani embarrassment nyi bhuli ab tk or kitna embarrassment ho jau inke samne "("It's not worth this much sorrow, innocent ones. How do I tell them? The embarrassment of two years ago hasn't been forgotten yet. How much more embarrassment will I face in front of them?")Avantika muttered to herself.

"Because you need to learn so many things," Aadish replied instantly, pulling her out of her thoughts.

Avantika stood there, nervously playing with her fingers and the hem of her kurti. Her voice was tinged with a mix of hope and anxiety as she spoke. "But I can do that from my workplace, sir," she said, her eyes not quite meeting his. The small, repetitive movements of her hands betrayed the unease she felt, even as she tried to present a confident front. The room felt heavy with the weight of her request, the air thick with anticipation as she awaited his response.

"You can do your work from here some day," he said, his tone attempting to be reassuring yet firm. Avantika glanced up, her fingers still fidgeting with the hem of her kurti. His words hung in the air, a tentative compromise that did little to ease the tension. She nodded slowly, trying to mask her disappointment with a forced smile, but her restless hands revealed the lingering apprehension.

"But..." Avantika began, her voice shaky. Before she could continue, he interrupted and called for a staff member to bring her things. She watched, stunned and silent.

. The room felt smaller, filled with the weight of her unspoken words. Avantika stopped fiddling with her kurti and waited, uncertain of what would happen next.

"I called. They will shift your stuff in five minutes," he almost declared. "Okay," he added, trying to sound reassuring. But who were they dealing with? Avantika Raichand was not one to give in so easily.

( itne jldi nyi manegi beta ji )

"Ji," Avantika replied, realizing there was no other option left. Her voice was resigned, accepting the situation even as a flicker of determination remained in her eyes."

"Hey bhole kaha fasa Diya mainu" ("Hey innocent one, where have you trapped me?")she thought to her self.

"Aapko nahi lagta aap hume janti hain,"( "Don't you think you know me?")Aadish said, continuing with his work.

"N...na...naaa ji," ( n..no...noooo sir )Avantika replied, her voice faltering. His sudden question made her lift her gaze, and she met his eyes with her black orbs.

In his white shirt, he looked like a character from a fictional world, his hair scattered across his forehead, adding to his handsome appearance. A silver watch adorned his wrist, catching the light as he moved. His palm, with long fingers, seemed perfect for holding hers. Before she could admire him any further, he spoke.

"Achha koi baat nyi yaad aa jayega jaldi hi " ("It's okay, you'll remember soon.")he said, his voice carrying a soothing assurance, each word dripping with promise and love.every word he said shows his promise and love but it is visible for our baby girl .

"Hmm," she replied softly, her gaze filled with tenderness as she settled onto the sofa behind her, sinking into its comforting embrace. Meanwhile, he immersed himself in his work, his concentration unwavering, yet his heart divided between the task at hand and stealing glances at his angel every few seconds. Each glance was a silent reassurance, a gesture of his deep-seated love and concern for her well-being, a testament to the unbreakable bond they shared.

In the Rajawat palace

Armaan's face lit up with joy as he bounded into the room, exclaiming, "Maa... maa, finally bhabhi sa mili or hmari aadi badal gya!" ( "Mother... mother, finally I met my sister-in-law and our Adish brother has changed!")He hugged Rewati Rajawat tightly, his excitement palpable. Rewati's heart swelled at the sight of her son's genuine happiness. His usual demeanor had transformed into childlike enthusiasm, filling the room with infectious energy. Her smile broadened, savoring this moment of bliss.

"Kya hua, arre ruk ja, gir jaungi mai,"( "What happened? Oh, wait, I might fall.") Rewati said, trying to steady herself. Hearing her, Armaan immediately stood still, allowing Rewati to regain her balance.

"Aaj pehli baar usne mujhse kaha ki mai chhuti le lu, vo bhi 2-3 mahine ki," ("For the first time today, he told me to take a break, that too for 2-3 months.")Armaan said happily, a full-blown smile on his face. Rewati, meanwhile, stood in shock, processing the unexpected news.

"Sachhi?"( Really )Rewati asked in disbelief.

"Ha maa, mai packing kar raha hu. Please mere favorite chhole bhature bana do na,"("Yes, mother, I'm packing. Please make my favorite chhole bhature.") Armaan replied, excitement in his voice, as he ran towards his room.

"Abhi layi, beta ji,"("I've just made them, dear.") Rewati said, turning to the kitchen to make Armaan's favorite chhole bhature.

"Maa...," ( mother)Armaan called, following her.

"Ha?"(Yes) she replied, turning back towards Armaan.

"Love you," Armaan said, kissing her forehead before running back to his room.

"Nautanki," (drama king )she muttered, shaking her head at his antics.

After enjoying the chhole bhature his mother had made, Armaan was ready to leave for his vacation. Just as he was about to step out, his phone rang. It was a call from Aadish.

"Armaan, office subhe sabse pehle aaoge aur sabse late jaoge," ("Armaan, you'll come to the office first in the morning and leave last.")Aadish's words hit Armaan as soon as he answered the call, leaving him in shock. He stumbled back onto the sofa behind him.

"What?" Armaan questioned, disbelief evident in his voice.

"Ha," ( yes )Aadish confirmed, fully aware of how excited Armaan had been.

"Lekin meri chhuti,"( but my leave )Armaan said, his voice tinged with the desperation of a child about to cry.

"Konsi chhuti?" ( Which leaves )Aadish questioned.

"Vo-" ( that )Before Armaan could finish, they both heard a girly voice, and Aadish rushed in that direction. Armaan quickly cut the call and hurried off to the office, leaving the conversation hanging.

In the Rajawat's office

Avantika's pov

As I settled onto the sofa behind me, I couldn't shake the feeling of Mr. Rajawat's eyes are boring into me. Each passing minute felt like an eternity, filled with an intense desire to escape his scrutinizing gaze. "Hey bhole, bacha lo Hume ...na," ( hey bhole please save me na)I silently pleaded with myself, yearning for relief from this uncomfortable situation.

As they left, leaving my belongings on the small table, I found myself lost in thought for a full 21 minutes before summoning the courage to approach him. I couldn't shake the feeling that he recognized me, despite our brief encounter two years ago. Yet, doubts nagged at me-how could someone remember a person they only met for a few minutes so long ago?

"Na jane konse papa kiye the bhole Jo inni saja de Rahi ho Hume , armaan sir ko bhi bhej Diya unse hi help le lete hum .mgr nhi mujh masus ki to sunna hi nyi hai na kisine pta nhi khudko kaha ka king samjh baithe hai ji ye Mr. Rajawat , ye jo kar rahe hai usse kahete hai embarrassment se maar bhi do or katl ka ilzam bhi na aaye inpe "

As I gathered the courage to stand, I whispered under my breath," Bhole mai ja to Rahi hu plss koi gadbad ni hone dena ji, Maine sharam se yahi dafan ho jana hai ".But in an instant, a deafening gunshot shattered the silence, making me freeze in fear. Clenching my eyes shut, I braced myself against the overwhelming noise. The relentless barrage of gunfire intensified, sending waves of terror through me. Desperately, I covered my ears, hoping to drown out the terrifying sounds. Amidst the chaos, a sense of helplessness washed over me. And then, in a moment of sheer dread, I felt a gentle touch, sending shivers down my spine, as I trembled in fear.

Aadish pov

Armaan's eagerness for a vacation is evident, but in the midst of our current battles, I must redirect his focus to the task at hand. While I understand his desire for a break, the urgency of our situation demands his presence and commitment.

As I conversed with him, the tranquility shattered by the abrupt sound of a gunshot, my attention was suddenly captured by the melodic voice of my angel. Its ethereal quality momentarily stole my breath away, contrasting sharply with the chaos of the moment.

I dashed towards her, reaching out and gripping her shoulder firmly. Her face glistened with sweat, a testament to her overwhelming fear. The expression etched on her face spoke volumes, revealing the depth of her terror.

"Tumhe agli baar is halat meh dekhu Aisa koi pal na aaye mere jindgi meh . "

("May I never see you in this condition again, may such a moment never come into my life again.")

As the gunfire ceased, I gently wiped the sweat from her face with my handkerchief. She remained clutching her ears, her eyes tightly shut, still reeling from the shock of the ordeal.

"Vani, Vani..." I called out to her, and she slowly opened her eyes. Holding her face in my hands, our eyes met, and I could see the disbelief in hers. It hit me then, the reason I had called her by the name I had given her. ." Shit ab kya bahana bnayege hum "("Damn, now what excuses will we come up with?") I mentally scolded myself, but her gaze remained fixed on my face, as if she was trying to peer into my soul, to understand the truth of who I really am and what I truly feel.

(Kuchh likha hai avantika ji ki tarf se hum sb ki Jaan Aadish Rajawat ke liye :

ki aankhe padhne ka hunar rakhte the hum ,

Magar jb unki aankhe dekhi to uh kho Gaye ki yrra hum padhna hi bhul gaye ")

("We used to have the skill of reading eyes,

But when I looked into theirs, I lost myself that, my friend, I had forgotten to read.")

Before either of us could utter a word, Armaan barged into my cabin with a thud." Mai Aaj is ki jaan leke hi manugi ab to "( "I'll only find peace by taking his life today,") I thought to myself, steeling my resolve, and then I approached him.
