In just 20 minutes, they all got to the office. Aadish was really mad this time, so nobody dared to speak. Armaan, Om, Rudra, and Avantika stood silently in a line. Aadish went straight to his cabin after changing his clothes.
Avantika's expression changed quickly. She went from smiling to looking sorry, like she was asking for forgiveness. Everyone stayed quiet, feeling tense and unsure about what would happen next. The office felt heavy with the silent tension as they all waited anxiously for things to unfold.
"Tum teeno bahar khade raho abhi , or specially tum dono sochna bhi mat kahi or Jane ka chup chap bahar khade raho ". (You three stand outside right now, and especially you two, don't even think about going anywhere else.")
As Aadish spoke, his commanding voice filled the room, cutting through the air with authority. His three brothers stood silently by the door, obediently following his orders without protest. There was a tension in the atmosphere, palpable and thick, as if each word uttered by Aadish carried a weight that none dared to challenge.
He moved purposefully to his desk, his stance a mixture of determination and perhaps a hint of vulnerability, subtly supported by the edge of the table. His eyes focused ahead, contemplating the implications of his actions and the necessity of his commands. It was a moment frozen in time, where decisions made could alter destinies.
Aadish's authoritative demeanor spoke volumes about his role as a leader within his family, someone whose words were not to be taken lightly. The silence that followed his directive underscored the respect and possibly the fear his brothers held for him, understanding the consequences of disobedience or defiance.
Avantika watched silently as three brothers left the cabin. In her eyes, they were now revealed as cheaters,"muje akele is sher ki gufa meh chhod gaye ruko tumko batati hu , dhokebaaz "(" left me alone in this cave of lion, wait, I'll tell you, traitor.")and she couldn't hide the hurt and betrayal she felt.
"So, Miss Vani..." Aadish began, his tone measured as he folded his hands, a gesture of both respect and intent.
"Sorry na, Mr. R," Avantika replied, her gaze fixed on the floor tiles, avoiding direct eye contact.
"Biwi bhag gayi meri..." (My wife ran away)Aadish continued, stepping closer to her with each deliberate move, while Avantika instinctively took a step back for every step he advanced.
The tension between them was palpable, laden with unspoken words and unresolved emotions. In the echoing silence of the office corridor, their dance of proximity mirrored a delicate balance between attraction and hesitation, each movement revealing more about their unspoken connection than any words could convey.
As Avantika reached the wall behind her, she came to a halt and glanced up at Aadish, who was smiling mischievously.
"Mr. R..." Avantika began, [(Mr. R...)] a playful pout forming on her lips, [(a playful pout forming on her lips)] her eyes reflecting innocence.
"Kahiye, madam ji..." Aadish teased, [(Say, madam ji...)] his hand resting beside her.
"Aap kya kar rahe hai ji?" Avantika asked, [(What are you doing, sir?)] still uncertain, realizing there was no longer any space between them.
"Aapko apni biwi ke darshan karva rahe hai ji," Aadish said, gently turning Avantika towards a mirror on their right. [(You are getting a glimpse of my wife, ji.)]
"Dekha, humari biwi to yahi hai," he continued as Avantika looked straight ahead, only to see their reflection in the mirror. [(See, my wife is right here.)]
"Ab kahiye, kya kehna hai..." Aadish asked softly, [(Now tell me, what do you want to say...)] his hand now lightly brushing against her hair as he nestled his face into the crook of her neck, feeling her presence deeply.
Avantika closed her eyes in response to his closeness, overwhelmed by the sensation of his nearness and the connection between them.
They remained still for several moments until Aadish slowly wrapped his arms around Avantika's waist. Startled, Avantika opened her eyes and gently pushed him away with her elbow.
"Mr. R..." she said softly, [(Mr. R...)] her hand now resting on his chest.
"Aaah..." Aadish murmured, touching his heart with a slight smile.
Avantika's expression softened as she observed him.
"Kya hua? Lagi kya..." she asked, [(What happened? Did it hurt...)] her fingers lightly touching his chest.
Meanwhile, Aadish took hold of her hand and said, "Bahut jor se..." [(Very strongly...)]
"Aap ko to mai..." Avantika started, glaring at Aadish and pointing a finger at him. [(I've got you now...]
"Ji, kahiye hume aap..." Aadish replied, slowly pulling her towards him and holding her hands. [(Yes, tell me what you want from me...)]
She blushed, enjoying the moment without saying a word, as Aadish gently placed his hands on her waist and seated her on the table. He then leaned in, joining their heads together, both of them basking in the happiness of finally being close after years of patience.
"Hume aapse mohabbat hai..." Aadish said, looking deeply into her eyes. [(I love you...]
"Magar mujhe sab chhod jaate hai..." Avantika honestly replied, revealing her fear of losing him, the insecurity keeping her at a distance. [(But everyone leaves me...]
"Main kabhi nahi jaunga..." he assured her, seeing the fear in her eyes. [(I will never leave...]
"Main ruthti bahut hoon..." she said, a hint of anger and a pout on her lips. [(I get angry often...]
"Main hamesha mana lunga..." he promised, gently tucking her hair behind her ears. [(I will always pacify you...]
"Main ladti bhi bahut hoon..." she admitted, wrapping her hands around his neck. [(I also argue a lot...]
"Main chup ho jaunga..." he responded like an obedient child. [(I will stay quiet...]
"Mujhe pyaar se dar lagta hai..." she confessed, revealing her true feelings. Insecurity and fear weighed heavily on her, stemming from past experiences that she couldn't forget. [(I am afraid of love...]
"Main hum dono ke hisse ka pyaar kar lunga..." he declared, touching their foreheads together. [(I will love both of us equally...]
"Mujhe ishq hai aapse..." she finally confessed, tears welling up in her eyes as she gave herself the chance to be happy. [(I am in love with you...]
"Main..." Aadish began to speak, but he realized she had confessed. Tears filled his eyes as he said, "Main aapka ban jaunga..." [(I will be yours...]
They locked eyes, seeing into each other's souls, finally understanding and accepting the depth of their love.
They finally hugged each other tightly, feeling each other's presence deeply. Tears flowed freely, and after a moment, they reluctantly pulled apart slightly, though Avantika remained in Aadish's arms, both smiling at each other.
"Nimbu Pani ke nashe nahi hote, betu..." ( Lemonade didn't get you drunk baby )Aadish joked, still holding her close and kissing her forehead.
She laughed and replied, "Mujhe toh hote hai na." [(But I do get drunk on lemonade.)]
"Achha bachu..."( Ok baby) he chuckled along with her.
The room was filled with laughter.
"Mr. R," she began, but before she could say more, he interrupted, "Aadi for you, baby," finally releasing his hands from her back and adjusting her hair.
"Mujhe waqt chahiye..." she said, looking at him earnestly. [(I need time...]
He gave her a questioning look, and she understood. "Main aapko samajhna chahti hu, main aapke baare mein janna chahti hu..." [(I want to understand you, I want to know about you...)]
"Kya jaanna hai aapko, poochiye humse..." he replied, still caressing her hair. [(What do you want to know, ask me...]
"Aise nahi ji..."( Not like that ) she said, holding his arms.
"Fir kaise ji?" he asked in the same tone. [(Then how?]
"Waqt bitana hai aapke saath... Or..." she continued. [(I want to spend time with you... And...]
"Or?" he prompted.
"Or bahut saari baatein bhi karni hai..." she replied after thinking. [(And I want to talk about many things...]
"Or..." he repeated.
"Aapko janna hai..." she said. [(I want to know you...]
"Or..." he repeated again.
"Or agar aapne ek aur baar 'or' kaha toh aapko aapke hi cabin se bahar nikal dena hai maine..." she said angrily, pushing him away slightly. She tried to jump off the table, but her fear of heights made her look at him with a cute expression.
"Acha ji... toh fir aaj hum nikal hi dete hain bahar, dekhte hain fir aap yahaan se kaise utrengi..." Aadish teased. [(Okay then... let i out today, let's see how you'll get down from here...]
"Mr. R..." she called, but he was busy looking at her reflection in the mirror and adjusting his shirt.
"Aadi..." she said softly, and finally he turned towards her, approaching slowly and asking in her ear, her lips nearly touching, "Mujhe kya milega?" [(What will I get?]
She struggled to suppress a laugh due to the tickling sensation and after a movement replied, "Aap meri ek mahine ki salary le lo." [(You can take my one month's salary.)
"Kya?" ( what)he questioned in shock.
"Haan toh aur kya chahiye..." ( what do you want)she innocently replied, unaware of his intentions.
"Aap..." ( you ) he replied, thinking about her offer of one month's salary and smiling to himself.
Avantika was in the midst of her thoughts when Aadish's phone rang. The device, resting on the table behind her, emitted a sharp sound that sliced through the silence. Aadish's expression shifted, and Avantika could sense an immediate change in the atmosphere. The tension was palpable.
"Uthayi na [Pick it up]," she urged, noting Aadish's hesitation as he continued to stare at the phone.
Ignoring the ringing, Aadish turned his head slightly and commanded, "Aa jao [Come in]." His voice was calm but authoritative.
In response, three young men hesitantly poked their heads through the door, their expressions wary. However, a stern look from Aadish prompted them to fully step into the cabin. The air was thick with unspoken words, the phone still ringing as a silent witness to the unfolding scene.
In the midst of an awkward pause, Om turned to his brother, stammering and struggling to find the right words. "Bhai, vo... hummm... vo..." ("Brother, that... um... that...") he began, only to falter again. Desperate for help, he called out, "Aree Armaan bhai, sa aap hi btao na." ("Hey Armaan, you tell him.")
Armaan, usually the more composed one, stepped in, albeit a bit awkwardly himself. "Mai... ha mai... mai batata hu na... vo boss Maa... ha maa ka call aya hai, dinner ready hai, chlo chalte hai sb. Avantika, aap bhi chlo," ("I... yes, I... I'll tell him... the boss, Mom... yes, Mom called, dinner is ready, let's go. Avantika, you come too,") he managed to string together.
His words hung in the air, met with incredulous stares from everyone around. Avantika broke the silence, her tone dripping with disbelief. "Bhai, sham ke 6 baje dinner karoge kya?" ("Brother, you'll have dinner at 6 in the evening?")
Armaan, caught off guard, stumbled over his response. "Nhi vo..." ("No, that...") he began, but was quickly interrupted by Rudra.
"Bhai, vo Hume na puchhna tha hum jaye kya... Kya hai na pta nhi aapko or kitna vakt lage," ("Brother, we wanted to ask if we could leave... you don't know how long it will take,") Rudra chimed in, his words cutting through the tension. As he finished, both Armaan and Om found themselves looking down, acutely aware that they were in for some trouble. They both thought, "Ye to pakka pitega aaj." ("We're definitely going to get in trouble today.")
But Aadish calmly replied, "Agali baar agar ye sath ho to khi bhi bahar nhi jana hai... or tum teeno yahi wait karo. Mai inko ghar drop karke aata hu..." ("Next time, if this happens, none of you are to go out... and you three wait here. I'll drop her home...") Aadish was saying when Avantika interrupted, "Nhi koi baat nhi mai chli jaugi..." ("No, it's okay, I'll go on my own...")
As she spoke, Om, Rudra, and Armaan's expressions changed. They knew Aadish never found it acceptable when someone interrupted him before he finished his sentence. They felt sorry for Avantika, but the next thing that happened left them speechless.
"Thik hai magar dhyan se..." ("Alright, but be careful...") Aadish responded, which shocked the three boys.
"Ab tum teeno ghurte hi rahoge ya bahar bhi jaoge?" ("Now, are you three just going to stand there staring, or are you going out?") Aadish said as his eyes fell on his three idiot brothers.
Looking at each other's faces, they left.
Aadishâs eyes sparkled with mischief as he spread his arms wide, beckoning Avantika to join him. âAb aap bhi aa jayiye (Now you also come here),â he said, his smile broadening, his voice laced with playful invitation.
Avantikaâs cautionary words, âMr. Rajawat girayiye ga nhi (Mr. Rajawat, donât drop me),â were softened by the warmth in her gaze. As Aadish gently enveloped her in his embrace, the world seemed to pause. He lowered her slowly until her feet were firmly on the ground, their connection unbroken.
âHum to marne ko taiyar hai ji, magar aapko chot ,mar kar bhi nhi pahochayege (Iâm ready to die, but I wonât let any harm come to you),â Aadish declared with a teasing grin, his voice playful yet sincere.
Avantikaâs response was equally light-hearted, yet tinged with affection. âAur aapki ye baate Hume har pal maar deti hai uska hisab kon denga Mr. Rajawat? (And your words, they kill me every moment. Who will account for that, Mr. Rajawat?)â she quipped, giving him a gentle, playful slap on the cheek, her eyes sparkling with happiness.
Suddenly, a yelp of âOuchhhhâ¦â pierced the intimate moment, followed by the sound of laughter and giggles coming from outside the door. The coupleâs shared moment was abruptly, yet humorously, interrupted, adding a layer of unexpected joy to their playful banter.
