Chapter 91 Do Not Dodge Forrest was defeated in just two strikes.
Eleazar and the others were stunned, unable to believe their eyes.
âIs he really a doctor?â Stephen asked hesitantly.
He had seen countless doctors, including the top ten renowned doctors in Loang, but not someone as ruthless and audacious as Finnegan.
Jace gulped, sharing Stephenâs sentiment.
Finnegan had completely shattered their preconceived notions of a doctor.
Logan remained nonchalant. He said in a low voice, âYouâll get used to it.â
He had also been equally astonished when he first learned of Finneganâs remarkable martial.
prowess.
âIâll kill you, Finnegan!â Eleazar roared, stepping forward.
Logan, who had previously been standing still, moved to stand right in front of Eleazar. âAnyone who dares to move dies!â
Eleazarâs face was drained of color as he staggered backward when he sensed the formidable. aura Logan radiated. A Terra Realm warrior in Absolute Rank? A Grandmaster? How could Finnegan possibly have a Grandmaster by his side?
Clarabelle and Isaac paled as well. Whatâs going on?
Oscar, too, widened his eyes in shock. He muttered incessantly, âA Terra Realm warrior in Absolute Rank? How is that possible?â
He had thought Finnegan would be doomed when Eleazar and the others arrived.
Upon discovering that Finnegan had a Grandmaster in his company, Oscar was engulfed in despair as fear overwhelmed him.
âOscar, I thought you said there was no one he could count on?â Eleazar bellowed.
Trembling uncontrollably, Oscar replied, âHeâs indeed all alone. Otherwise, Mr. Killian wouldnât have-â At the thought of something, he turned to Finnegan. âFinnegan, is he your past five years?â master? Did you acquire your skills from him over the Finnegan patted Loganâs shoulder, motioning for him to step aside. Then, in response to Oscarâs question, he replied, âThatâs not important. Letâs move on to the next one. Take turns drying, remember? Letâs not waste any more time and follow my rules. Whoâs up next?â
Feeling nervous, Clarabelle and Isaac turned to Eleazar. âEleazar?â
They had been confident in facing Finnegan, but their confidence wavered when they discovered that Finnegan now had the backing of a Terra Realm Grandmaster in Absolute Rank.
Eleazarâs expression shifted. His voice was deep and serious as he said, âFinnegan, you were right about one thing. This is between you and the Chomsky family, and it doesnât concern us. Letâs end it here. Weâll leave immediately,â
âIâm afraid thatâs not how we play this game. If you want out, youâve got two choices: either you leave here after giving me a beating close to death, or Iâll make sure youâre carried out as a lifeless body!â
âFinnegan, our master is one of the Five Unparalleled and the Ten Illustrious, Golden Hades. Forgive us and move on!â
âAre you worried that my friend would intervene?â Finnegan sneered. âDonât worry. He wonât, even if you kill me. Just get in line now and face your death.â
âAre you for real?â Eleazarâs eyes lit up.
He believed Finnegan was no match for them.
They backed down merely because of Logan.
If Finnegan confirmed that Logan would not interfere, Eleazar would not mind sticking to the plan which was to dispose of Finnegan and then ask Tristan for more money.
Instead of answering his question, Finnegan pointed at Isaac. âItâs your turn now. Show me your sword!â
Isaacâs expression turned grim. âHow did you know Iâm a swordsman?â
âCut the crap!â Finnegan swiftly attacked Isaac.
After regaining his composure, Isaac drew a sword from his waist and lunged at Finnegan.
âWhat a slowpoke!â Finnegan mocked.
He quickly adjusted his position, clasping his two fingers together to catch the sword A hint of malice flickered in Isaacâs eyes. âIl slice off your fingers!â
Isaac exerted force on his palm, attempting to twist the sword and sever Finneganâs fingers.
But to his surprise, the sword remained unaffected. âHow can this be?â
A sharp sound echoed through the air, in harmony with the vibration of the sword.
Using only his two fingers, Finnegan snapped the sword in half, shocking everyone present.
Eleazarâs face darkened once again. âRetreat, Isaac. Retreat!â
âWhat makes you think he can?â Finnegan scoffed, his speed skyrocketing in an instant. He darted past Isaac and appeared directly behind him.
Isaac stood frozen, blood trickling from his mouth. âThatâs fastâ¦â
His body fell backward, with the broken tip of the sword impaled in his chest.
Eleazar and Clarabelle exclaimed, âIsaac!â
Oscarâs complexion turned pale, and his body could not help but tremble uncontrollably.
He understood that it was the end. Today would mark their downfall.
Finnegan turned around as if he were completely unaffected and addressed Clarabelle. âIt appears you use steel nails as your hidden weapons, right?â
Suppressing her inner turmoil and fear, Clarabelle clenched her teeth and replied, âAnd?â
Finnegan smiled faintly as he said casually. âWell, I happen to be quite familiar with sneak attacks. Letâs do this. If you can withstand my direct attack using your weapon, Iâll allow you to leave here alive.â
With Finnegan now firmly in control of the situation, Clarabelleâs sense of hopelessness was palpable.
Yet, his words sparked a glimmer of hope within her. âDo you mean it?â
âI may not be a saint, but I do keep my word.â
âAll right, then. Bring it on!â As someone well-versed in the art of concealed weaponry, she was confident in her ability to defend against Finneganâs direct attack.
Finnegan sneered, âKeep your eyes peeled.â
In a swift motion, he let loose three silver needles, so thin they resembled strands of hair, the kind that dissolved into the body upon impact.
<
He then lowered his hands. âIâm done.â
Clarabelle froze for a moment. âYouâre done?â
She did not even catch a glimpse of the weapon he had used on her.
Besides Logan, Clarabelle, Stephen, Jace, and the others looked baffled. Has he made his move?
Clarabelle believed Finnegan might have been captivated by her appearance and thus spared her life.
In response, she promptly said, âIf thatâs the case, Iââ
Before she could even complete her sentence, her complexion took on an ominous bluish- purple hue, and she involuntarily coughed out a mouthful of blood.
Her eyes widened in shock, and she collapsed onto the ground, her life slipping away from her before she could comprehend what had transpired.
Eleazarâs voice cracked as he shouted, âClarabelle!â
His anguish quickly transformed into rage as he lunged at Finnegan. âIâm going to kill you!â
In addition to their senior-junior relationship, Eleazar and Clarabelle had also shared a romantic bond for many years.
Watching his beloved die shattered his last vestiges of restraint.
He released the power of an Enigma Realm warrior in Absolute Rank, its invisible energy dispersing the wind and rain.
He clenched his right hand, aiming straight for Finneganâs face.
The force behind Eleazarâs punch was enough to make a few strands of Finneganâs hair flutter. âI suppose youâre somewhat of a worthy opponent, considering youâre just one step away from the Terra Realm.â
After speaking, Finnegan deftly avoided the incoming attack.
Just as Eleazarâs fist was about to reach Finnegan, Finnegan swiftly sidestepped.
Eleazarâs punch missed its target and struck a fruit tree behind him, causing the tree to snap The sheer strength of his explosive power was evident âDonât dodge if you have the guts!â Without any hesitation. Eleazar propelled himselt toward Finnegan using a tree stamp, his eyes blazing with madness To the face of Eleazarâs relentless assault, Finnigan mamed compound He en flashed a faunt uile. âDonât dodgeâ Sure?â
