IMPORTANT
The book was heavily edited in 2024. While the plot of Part 1 remains the same, you'll notice changes in the narration and dialogue, with some comments from other readers not making much sense due to editing changes. The edits were made to enhance the reading experience and to extend the story for Part 2.
â LOVE QUOTE â
âIf people say that love, at first sight, is too cliché to be true, then I would say sometimes cliché too happens...

Long thing short, I'll personally castrate you if you dare to plagiarize my story. And I am damn true to my intention, so don't even try to copy even a single line.
â DISCLAIMER â
This is one of the books in the series: Destined To Be. (can be called a collection of books)
This story can be enjoyed as a standalone. You can find more details on my profile.
The names, characters, and incidents mentioned in the story are purely fictional. For authenticity, the author has used names of some real places and institutions as they represent cultural icons of today and aid storytelling. There is no intention to imply anything else. It will be a mere coincidence.
Simply put, the story features real places and institutions based on thorough research. I'm not snooping around India; I do my homework as an author. Some elements are fictional, as maps and images don't capture everything, and I've had to create some imaginary locations too to make the story interesting.
â WARNING â
This story is marked as "Mature" for the second part of the book. The first part, published in 2015, contains no 18+ content. So, if you're revisiting it for the warm, fuzzy story it was until 2024, you may want to avoid the second part, as it might include some spicy content. Since we're exploring the married life of a couple, it's only natural that some things come with the territory!
Also, you can find some grammatical errors or typos. Please help me by pointing out any errors directly in the paragraph. I won't tolerate any rude comments here!
The plot of the first part unfolds between 2010 and 2015, while the second part spans from 2015 to 2023. As time goes on, cultural and social references may evolve (as they always do), and some elements might not make sense to readers in the future. Please understand that I write stories to depict romance and love as authentically as possible, with detailed attention to the period and the people I'm writing about.
This means that if I am writing about an Indian lower-middle-class family in 2010, some of their perspective and habits won't make sense to poor/rich people living in 2025, yes, I do my research well.
I have added this particular part as I have seen a lot of people commenting about how foolish some acts look, for example- throwing garbage in random places, non-acceptance/ acceptance of PDAs, and other stuff. For the past eight years, I have been very silent as I haven't used Wattpad much but whenever I come here, I see at least two comments saying- "Oh! She is throwing garbage everywhere, so irresponsible", yes, I know about it and probably my character will learn in future but for that period it was a very normal act.
That said, I am not normalizing or glorifying any act as such, my intentions are to stay true to character and not show idealistic behavior.
Thanks for your understanding!
