However, when both of their bodies were ready to take the final step, Ren Nanying suddenly stopped.

With her waist leaned against the sink, Jun Zishu opened her eyes and looked at Ren Nanying in confusion.

Ren Nanying took a deep breath as she looked back at Jun Zishu. Then, after calming her racing heart, she said, “We can’t act so rashly. At the very least, we can’t do it here. I want to wait until our relationship is more stable…”

“How stable do you want it to be? Until we get married?”

Ren Nanying’s heart skipped a beat when she heard Jun Zishu’s words. However, she didn’t want Jun Zishu to have any regrets. She also didn’t want to take away Jun Zishu’s first time in the bathroom.

The two got a good night’s rest after their intense battle. When they left their room and got ready to head downstairs, Jun Zishu suddenly held Ren Nanying’s hand.

Ren Nanying was startled by this situation, and she couldn’t help but look at Jun Zishu in bewilderment.

“What? Don’t want to hold hands with me?”

“No, I’m just…afraid that Aunt Jun will suspect us.”

“Why are you worried about that? Our relationship is an open and honest one. I’ve never planned to hide our relationship. Don’t tell me you’re afraid?” Jun Zishu asked with a raised eyebrow.

Ren Nanying felt that she was becoming more and more infatuated with Jun Zishu. She especially liked Jun Zishu’s calm and self-assured personality. The girl behaved as if everything was under her control, and Ren Nanying couldn’t help but have the urge to hug her and kiss her.

When the two arrived downstairs, Mother Jun saw that they were holding hands. However, she didn’t think too much about it. After all, when two girls shared a good relationship, it was even normal for them to hug each other, let alone hold hands.

“Are you alright, Zishu?”

“I’m alive and well. I’m not missing any arms or legs, either.”

“That’s good.”

Lin Ruoyan breathed a sigh of relief.

“It’s good that you’re fine as well,” Jun Zishu said.

“It’s all thanks to the shopping spree you took me on the day before the apocalypse. I managed to survive on the food I bought that day for quite some time.”

After Jun Zishu and Lin Ruoyan joked around a bit, they agreed to meet two days later.

Ren Nanying didn’t know much about Jun Zishu’s social circle, so she could only listen in silence.
