---"Neil, I’m your fiancée, yet you choose to believe an outsider over me?" Inaya feigned disappointment, closely observing Neil’s reaction. "Yesterday… we were supposed to be signing our wedding papers."  "It’s too late for that now. The damage is already done." Neil’s tone was cold, his expression indifferent. "HF has notified the court of their intention to sue Nova Entertainment for breaching the contract. And thanks to your manager, the public backlash is getting worse by the minute. You need to take responsibility for this."  He looked down at Inaya with an air of superiority, as if he were some almighty judge delivering a verdict.  "You’re going to be my wife soon. I can’t have my wife damaging my career. That’s why, for the sake of Nova Entertainment, you need to step forward and tell the public that this entire mess was caused by your manager for hype—and that it has nothing to do with Nova."  "Admitting that Yashvi was responsible is the same as admitting I was responsible!" Inaya’s voice trembled with restrained anger. "Weren’t you the one who rushed me into replacing Layla at the last minute?"  "Inaya, you were the one who got recognized—it’s your fault."  The moment those words left his lips, Neil seemed to realize he had gone too far. He quickly composed himself and reached out, attempting to pull her into his arms. But Inaya shoved him away.  "Inaya, I lost my patience. Just this once… after we’re married, I promise to treat you well," he coaxed.  Holding back her tears, Inaya nodded. "I’m doing this—not because I admit to any wrong doing—but because I want to protect your career. But let me be clear… there will be no next time!"  "Of course… I promise, there won’t be a next time!"  But in his mind, Neil was certain she would fall for it again. Once they were married, he would have complete control over her.  "The press conference will be this afternoon at 3pm. We will have a meeting in a minute to go over your script.""Alright."  Inaya wiped away her tears and forced herself to look into Neil’s eyes as she always did. But the moment she stepped out of his office, her expression turned ice-cold.  She couldn’t immediately forget the jerk, but, she was going to stick by her decisions.There was no way she was going to take on the blame for Neil’s wrongdoings again. After taking a moment to gather her thoughts, she returned to her room and dialed Yashvi.  "Yashvi, Neil is trying to use me as a scapegoat."  "Hah! Tell me what you want me to do," Yashvi replied, her voice filled with determination.  "At 3 PM, I’ll take responsibility and apologize. And after that… I want you to anonymously release photos of Neil and Layla being affectionate in the hospital..."Yashvi chuckled darkly. "Oh, Ha ha, sure! I’ve even thought up of a great headline ’Exposed! Nova Entertainment’s boss has multiple affairs: The Biggest Cheating Scum!’"Inaya couldn’t help but respond with a laugh, before she began to apologize, Thank you, Yashvi. I’m sorry for dragging you into this."  "Inaya, if you’re ready to start over, then I’ll do everything in my power to help you.
