"Come on y/n"

I giggled as y/n let's out puffs of air while she struggled to run after me.

"You know I'm not athletic, Aimiah."

I watched as she finally caught up with me. She placed her hands on her small knees as she bent over to catch her breath. I couldn't help but laugh as snow covered her from head to toe after falling a few times trying to keep up with me.

"You look like a yeti y/n. Should I make you a cave to hide into?"

She looks at me grumpily as she lets out a huff.

"If that means no more running than please do."

We both laugh as I grab her hand and pull her towards my mansion. Her parents said she could have a sleepover with me, Chantel, and Diara as long as we brought her back in one piece.

We ran into the house before I begrudgingly removed my hand from hers. She began to take off her winter gear as the butlor came over to remove mine.

"There you girls are. I was beginning to worry."

"Daddy!"

I quickly ran over to my father right as my butlor finished taking off my winter gear. I jumped to hug my father as he caught me and lifted me up in the air, causing me to laugh. He pushed my bangs back as he gave me a kiss on my forehead before placing me back on the ground.

"Where's mommy?"

My father sighed as he looked at me. I knew that look.

"Sorry, princess, but you know how your mother is."

I sighed as tears pricked the corner of my eyes. Y/n came over, rubbing my back gently.

"Hey, we should probably join Chantel and Diara before they eat all of the snacks."

I giggled as I wiped the tears from my eyes. I nodded my head before we raced past my father. His deep laugh rang through the halls as we quickly sped up the multitude stairs and to my room.

"What took you so - oh he-hey y/n."

"Hey Chantel!"

Y/n runs over to Chantel and tackles her with a hug. They both fall to the ground laughing. I couldn't help but growl slightly as my chest tightened while Chantel stuttered on about nonsense. Her face was beet red as she shyly twirled her finger around a strand of hair.

Y/n hung onto her every word as if Chantel was her world. I grind my teeth as I walk over there, ignoring Diara's whispers. I grabbed y/n by the back of her collar before pulling her closer to me.

"Attention on me yeti. It's my party and as a guest you need to give your host attention."

Y/n nodded her head as she gave me her undivided attention. I could feel myself blooming from her attention alone. I don't know why, but something about y/n's attention always made me feel special.

My cheeks turned a rosy pink as y/n followed me like a lost puppy while I went to the snack table. Diara followed close behind as Chantel pouted on the floor.

"What are we gonna do?"

Diara whispered as she clung onto y/n's arm. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. What a child.

"Can you stop hanging on to y/n you big baby?"

Diara's small bottom lip shook as tears ran from her eyes. She hesitantly let's go of y/n while short sniffles escaped her. I couldn't help but roll my eyes once more.

"Shut up, Dia -"

"Hey, leave her alone Aimiah she ain't hurting nobody."

I blinked as y/n pulled Diara into her. Diara clung onto y/n's shirt while y/n held her closely. There goes that feeling again. Daddy said it was jealousy, whatever that meant. I do know one thing, I hate this feeling. My eyes narrowed before I got an idea.

"Let's watch a horror movie."

I smiled as y/n cheered, seemingly forgetting what we were just talking about. Chantel looked over bored but slightly amused by y/n's cheering, whereas Diara's small form shook in her oversized pj's.

"That's unless one of you is to SCARED to watch it. If that's the case, we can always watch a cartoon."

Y/n stopped cheering.

"What, nooooo! I love cartoons, but I really want to see what scary movie we're going to watch."

I watch as Diara bites her lip. Knowing that pushover, she'll do anything to make y/n happy. Even if that means facing her fears. My grin widens as Diara looks down to the ground in defeat.

"No objections... I didn't think so."

With that, I went to my bed before grabbing Daddy's favorite scary movie. I took it from the theater room while he was cooking the snacks for this party. I walked past the girls as they all tried to get a look at what movie I picked. I placed the DVD into the DVD player before sitting on one of the many bean bags my daddy set up.

Y/n jumped into the bean bag beside me while Diara was quick to follow. Chantel noticing that there was no room to sit next to y/n dragged her feet to the bean bag on the other side of me. She sat down with a huff before sniffling quietly. Such a cry baby, her and Diara both.

As the movie began, a rated r popped up on the screen, causing Diara to gasp.

"We can't watch this!"

Ugh, what is with her and Chantel always ruining all of the fun.

"Who cares, Diara?"

"I do! Aimiah were kids. What if we see something inappropriate? What if our parents find out?!"

Is she serious?

"No ones going to find out....unless one of you was to snitch. You're not gonna snitch, are you?"

I glared at Diara as she hid slightly behind y/n, who was too focused on the movie to care what was happening. Diara gulped before hesitantly shaking her head. I gave her a sweet smile.

"Good. Now shut your trap and watch the movie already."

Diara winced as she sunk into her bean bag and picked at her popcorn. The movie continued to play. I couldn't help but smile at the gruesome scenes that played in front of me. By the time the movie ended, it was night out while the snow continued to rain down.

Chantel and y/n had already fallen asleep while Diara, still wide awake, continued to hold onto y/n for dear life. Her eyes moved around the room, none stop before I ran my hand down her neck cause her to scream.

I laughed as she began to cry and whimper, holding onto y/n tighter as if she would magically wake up and save her. Before I could tease her more, a knock at my door caught both of our attention.

I walked to the door as Diara cried for me not to open it. With a click of my tongue, I opened the door to see my butlor shaking in front of me. He cleared his throat before looking down at me in fear.

"You have been summoned by your mother, Miss. Aimiah."

My eyes widened as my heart rate slightly increased. I pushed the butlor out of the way before closing the door to room and walking to my mother's office, ignoring Diara's wails from my room.

Once I was in front of the grande doors of my mother's office, I knocked on it hesitantly. The door opens ominously as I walk in. The room was dark with only the dim light of my mother antique lamp illuminating the room.

My mother sat at her desk writing what looks to be a letter. I stood there silently as she finished writing and sealed the letter with a wax stamp. She sets the letter aside with a bunch of other letters and paperwork before looking up at me.

"Have a seat, Aimiah. What kind of mother would i be to let you stand."

She gave me a pristine smile as my gut dropped. I don't trust her smile....afterall, I got my smile from her. I, of all people, know a real smile from a dangerous one.

I take a seat in front of her desk as she picks up her tea cup and leans back into her plush chair. She takes a sip before sighing. The steam from the cup somehow made her eyes look more intimidating than usual.

"Mother -"

I screamed as hot tea came in contact with my face. I could feel my face blistering as the boiling tea dripped from my face and onto my pajamas.

"I don't remember giving you permission to speak, Aimiah."

I continued to cry as the pain became unbearable. Mother walked around the desk before grabbing me by my hair and lifting me up to her height. My screams ensued until she brought a clawed hand to my neck.

"Shut it, you little brat."

I hiccuped as I tried to silence my wails. Mother rolled her eyes before speaking.

"Those girls, y/n and dede. Yea, no more hanging out with them. I don't have to explain myself to you, but let's just say... their ranks have been lowered. I will be damned if I let my daughter be caught dead with the riff raff."

I continued to sniffle as I nodded my head. My eye blistered shut as my mother brought her clawed finger to one of my blisters and popped it. I strained a cry as she chuckled.

"Quiet my dear, what is it they say? What doesn't kill you makes you stronger?"

I muffle my groans of pain as she finally sets me down.

"Once your little sleepover is done, get rid of them. Understood?"

I nodded my head only for my face to snap to the side. Her slap was hard enough to burst the eye blister. I scream as she grabs my chin.

"I SAID do you understand?"

"Y-yes m-m-mother"

She gives me a smile as he caresses my face.

"That's a good girl now. Go to bed. It's late."

She removes her claws from my face, and with a wave of her hand, all of the blisters, the blood, and the pain went away as if it was never there to begin with. I sniffled as I wished her a good night.

Once I was out of her office, I rushed back to my room. Diara had finally fallen asleep. I crawled into my master bed before crying myself to sleep that night.
