After Forrest assisted Freya with the discharge procedure, Ryan drove to the car park.

After Forrest saw her off, he did not go to The Lodge with them. He reminded her of something before Ryan drove her to The Lodge.

Freya, who was in the backseat, felt at ease as if she had been freed.

She had stayed in the hospital for over a week. Although she was in a VIP ward where she was served good food and drinks, it still felt terrible mainly because she missed Dani.

During the journey, she kept asking Ryan about Dani.

Toward the end of the conversation, she became a little glum. “Do you think Dani still remembers me?

When I had video calls with her in the last few days, she would ignore me and rather play with her toys.”

Ryan shot a glance at her through the rearview mirror.

Ryan did not answer her. He took a flyer from the passenger seat and handed it to her.
