Let me go, Mr. Hill [by Shallow South] Chapter 763 âOkay, Iâll give you 1,000 dollars when youâre in the afterworld. You can use the money there.â
Rodney grabbed one of Freyaâs legs and dragged her over. Just as he was about to make his move, his phone rang.
Freya quickly took the opportunity and kicked him in the face. Then, she ran away in a hurry.
âStop right there!â
Rodney chased after her, but his phone kept ringing. He picked up the call annoyedly. â Spit it out. Iâm in the middle of something.â
âOh, it looks like you arenât done yet, Young Master Snow? Being with five women at night wasnât enough for you, so you have to meet other women during the day as well?â A sarcastic voice was heard.
Rodney looked at the caller ID. It was Jessica Snow. He shuddered in fear. âBig Sis, I didnât know it was you.â
âThatâs enough. Iâm too lazy to talk nonsense with you. Get back here quickly. Grandpaâs looking for you,â Jessica said coldly.
Rodney was on the verge of crying. âBig Sis, last night wasââ
âGrandpaâs very angry,â Jessica reminded him.
Rodney trembled. âIâm going back now.â
âJust be careful.â Jessica hung up.
Rodney wanted to cry, but he had no tears. He was really done for because of Freya.
An hour later.
Rodney walked into the Snow familyâs villa.
When he entered, he only saw Old Master Snow, his parents, Jessica, and Carson in the living room.
He felt relieved.
It was a good thing that his aunts and uncles were not here. Otherwise, they would interrogate him altogether and he would feel like dying from it.
â Second Brother, youâre back.â Rodneyâs younger brother, Carson, teased him with a smile. âDo you want to drink some tonic thatâs specially for men? Iâm afraid that you might be worn out from last night.â
Rodney glared at him viciously. He hurriedly went t o pour a cup of coffee for Old Master Snow in an attempt to please him. âListen to my explanation. I got set up by someone last nightâ â
âKneel down, â Old Master Snow said sternly as he held the cup.
Rodneyâs father, Jason, warned him, âKneel down since your grandpa has asked you to.â
Rodney had no choice but to kneel on the ground.
Old Master Snow put down his cup with a bang. He harrumphed. âWhy does the Snow family have such an embarrassing young master like you? Your uncleâs election is next year but here you are being a hindrance to the Snow family. You became the laughing stock of Canberra so early in the morning.â
Rodneyâs mother, Wendy, sighed and said, âThe other day, your aunt even intended to set up a blind date for you and Director Lawsonâs daughter. They heard about the issue this morning and rejected the blind date without saying another word. Tell me, which daughter from the proper families will dare to get married to you in the future?â
âThat isnât a big deal at all.â
Rodney lowered his head. He did not want to get married anyway. Every year, he was most annoyed when his family arranged blind dates for him.
âShut up.â Old Master Snowâs expression went cold.
Rodney said aggrievedly, âGrandpa, I was drunk last night. I really didnât know about anything. It was a woman called Freya Lynch who called those women over. I didnât touch them.â
âWeâve already looked into it.â
