Let me go, Mr. Hill [by Shallow South] Chapter 781 Shaunâs heart contracted.
Reaching out, he pulled Catherine into his arms and hugged her tightly.
The burning heat of his body enveloped her, making her subconsciously rely on him. She could not help but grasp the shirt on his chest.
However, when she remembered that he had scared her, she raised her hand and pinched his chest hard. â Shaun Hill, you *sshole ! Why did you scare me?â
Shaun hissed. It was clearly painful, but when he heard the womanâs soft voice, he could not get angry at all. He smelled the fragrance of her hair and hugged her soft body, feeling his heart fill to the brim.
Then, Suzieâs upset voice sounded. âHmph, you two are hugging each other and abandoning me to the side.â
Catherine blushed and wanted to go over, but the Ferris wheel was still high up, so her legs were weak.
âForget it. Iâll take care of myself.â Suzie looked out the window.
Catherine lowered her eyes in chagrin.
Shaun looked down and saw her fan-like eyelashes flutter.
About three minutes later, the Ferris wheel was two -thirds the way down and she immediately broke free from his arms to sit beside Suzie.
Shaunâs eyes narrowed at his empty embrace and he reminded, âThat was just the first round. Thereâs one more.â
â Iâm getting off. You two can stay. â Catherine was truly afraid. She used to be young and ignorant and was not scared of getting on the Ferris wheel, but now, she was really scared of it.
âI donât wanna sit here anymore either. Itâs not fun at all. I wanna go on a boat ride.â Suzie had already seen something more interesting below.
Shaunâs expression darkened, but he could only follow the two of them out.
They went around the amusement park. Finally, they found a McDonaldâs to eat at.
Shaun rarely stepped into such places, but Suzie insisted, so he had no choice.
After Catherine ordered a set meal, the three of them sat by the window and ate.
He was not interested in such foods and only got a cup of coke to drink when the voices of a young couple suddenly sounded from the side.
âThis chicken nugget is delicious. Iâll give it to you.â The girl ingratiatingly took the chicken nuggets and put them on the boyâs tray.
The boy glared at the girl helplessly. âI donât understand you. Youâre just giving me things that you donât want to eat yourself.â
âHehe, itâs because youâre my boyfriend. Itâs a boyfriendâs responsibility to eat what his girlfriend doesnât want to.â
âSigh, itâs too painful to be your boyfriend.â âWhy donât you try saying that again?â
â I didnât say anything. â The boy took the chicken nuggets and ate them gloomily.
Shaun froze. That scene gave him a very familiar feeling, as though he had experienced it before.
Suddenly, a womanâs voice sounded in his mind. â Why canât you eat what Iâve eaten? Is it because you hate me? Or donât you love me anymore?â
However, before he could think more into it, there was a piercing pain in his head.
The coke in his hand fell to the ground with a splash.
His handsome face turned pale with pain.
Suzie and Catherine were shocked. They looked at him at the same time.
âUncle, are you okay?â Suzie looked worried.
â Iâm fine. Iâll go wash my face. â Shaun hurriedly went to the washroom.
