I was crying shouting his name... No he can't leave me alone... What kind of friend are you Mahira, you couldn't save your best friend, your love, who always protects you in every situation... He didn't think about himself... He even went for a date with that Arishfa... He never blamed me for anything... I cried and shout...

I was crying very badly... I lost him... I lost my best friend, the love of my life, my saviour, who understands me, who cares for me, who always makes me feel special... He always proved himself as a best friend, but I, I am the worst friend of his... Who always doubt on him, who slapped him, who didn't trust him, who hurt him... I saw, he was hanging with the help of a branch of a tree... Well it was not a tree, it was just a branch... Thank god he is alright... I said...

He saw me, a small smile crept on his face... I give my hand to him... He said...
Karan: no Mahira, you just go and get help... Nothing will happen to me...
Mahira: Karan please try to understand... Woh log yaha se bhut dur hai... Just give me your hand... Tumhe meri kasam...
He look at me... Unwillingly he gave his hand to me... I tried to pull him up... He was right, he is heavy, aur ho bhi kyu na gym me itna workout jo karta hai... And... Oh my god!!!!.... We both fell down from the cliff... I closed my eyes, he engulfed me... I was on his top... I saw into his eyes... Wait a minute, he engulfed me... He is protecting me like a shield... No no no... I tried to get out from his grip but he is damm strong... After sometime I don't know what happened everything went black...

Janvi's POV:
I was waiting for Mahira to come back with Karan... Ab ye kaha chali gayi, kahi Karan ke saath romance toh suru nahi kar diya isne... Inn dono ka koi bharosa bhi nahi hai, kabhi bhi, kahi bhi suru ho jate hai... But hope ki ye dono kisi problem me na ho... Oh god Mahira please come back... Just then someone tapped on my shoulder... It was Prithvi... He said...
Prithvi: Janvi what are you looking for???...
Janvi: kuch bhi toh nahi, kuch bhi nahi...
Prithvi: waise Mahira kaha hai???...
Janvi: she went to the washroom...
I smile nervously... Oh god Mahira please come back soon... I can't lie to Prithvi more than this... Jai and Rimi came to us they ask...
Jai: Mahira jiji aur Karan dikhai nahi de rahe hai...
Rimi: yeah were are they???...
Prithvi: Janvi pichle ten minutes se yahi keh rahi hai ki Mahira washroom gai hai... Janvi what's the matter???... Are you hiding something from me???...

We all went to find them... I hope they will be fine... We search for them about half an hour, but we couldn't find them... We all were tensed... Prithvi said...
Prithvi: we have search for them almost every places... Ab bas cliff bacha hai... Let's go and search there...
We all nodded and went near the cliff... We search them but no one was there...
Jai: yaha toh koi bhi nahi hai... Toh woh dono gaye kaha???...
Rimi: guys I think hummey teachers ki help leni chahiye...
Janvi: yeah let's go...
We all were about to go when Prithvi stopped us... I ask him...
Janvi: what happened Prithvi...

We saw in the ground, there were few drops of blood... I was scared like hell... Prithvi saw here and there, something caught his eyes... He went there...
Prithvi: ye... ye toh wahi gun hai jo humne Karan ko di thi... That means he was here...
Janvi: aur agar Karan yaha tha that means Mahira bhi yahi hogi...
Jai(worriedly): par woh dono hai kaha???...
Rimi: guys woh dekho...
We all went to her and ask...
Janvi: what happened Rimi...
Rimi: Janvi woh dekho niche uss branch par jo jacket hai woh Mahira ka hai na...
We all saw, yes it was Mahira's jacket... That means... No no it is not possible... I was crying...
Prithvi: nahi... nahi un dono ko kuch nahi ho sakta... UNHE KUCH NAHI HO SAKTA... KARAN!!!...
Jai: Mahira jiji nahi unhe kuch nahi ho sakta...
Prithvi: Mahira ko kuch nahi ho sakta Jai... Jab tak Karan jinda hai, woh Mahira ko kuch nahi hone denge... I am afraid for him...
Rimi: guys iss tarah se roone se kuch nahi hoga... We should tell about this to teachers... They will help us... Aur Prithvi tum police ko call karo...
Prithvi: yeah you are right... I should call the cops...
Prithvi went little far from us and Jai went to the teachers to inform them... The teachers and students came there and after sometime the police also came... They starts their search for them... Oh god please, please save them...

Mahira wake up with a jerk... She saw here and there, she remembered how she and Karan fall from the cliff... How he cage her between his arm and protect her like a shield... She shout... Mahira: KARAN... Where are you???...
She get up and saw Karan was lying little far away from her... She ran to him and try to wake him up...
Mahira: Karan please get up... Karan wake up and talk to me please... What should I do...
She saw a small river she went there and fetch some water in her palm... She sprinkle the water on his face... He wake up with a jerk and was shouting...
Karan: barish... barish... barish...
Mahira: barish nahi ho rahi hai you idiot... I sprinkles water on your face to wake you up...
Karan: OK but hum dono kaha hai???...
Mahira: And the bigger question is how are we both alive???...
They saw here and there... It was a jungle...
Karan: it's true nature is our mother... Aur aaj mother nature ne hum dono ko bacha liya...
Mahira: Matlab???...
Karan: Matlab, look at the grass, it is spongy and soft... And I think jab hum niche gir rahe teh tab inn trees ke wajah se humari speed kam ho gai, due to the branches...
Mahira: par ab hum dono yahe se return kaise jayege...
Karan: we have to find the way... Let's go...
They were about to go when Karan stopped and said...
Karan: Mahira woh gun kaha hai???...
Mahira: hum dono yaha kho gaye hai aur tumhe gun ki padi hai...
Karan: Mahira gun kaha hai???...
Mahira gave him a you are unbelievable look... She said...
Mahira: woh jab hum dono gir rahe teh tab toh gun mere pass hi thi... I think jaha mai giri thi may be waha ho... But Karan it was just a gun...
Karan: IT WAS NOT JUST A GUN... Woh Manu ki akhri nishani thi... I can't afford to lose it...
He was madly searching for the gun...
Mahira(in mind): Manu... Ye Manu koun hai... Karan ne toh kaha tha ki ye gun use uske childhood friend ne diya hai... That means uss childhood friend ka naam Manu hai... Ye Manu koun hai... I think she is a girl... Aur Karan kitne desperately uss gun ko koj raha hai, I think she is an important person of his life or love of his life... Aur uski akhri nishani thi iska kya matlab???...
Karan finally found the gun... He kissed the gun... It seemed like he got his life rather than the gun... Mahira ask him...
Mahira: Karan ye Manu koun hai???...
Karan's POV:
Mahira asked me who is Manu... Flashback of my childhood came infront of my eyes... Mahira kept her hand on my shoulder and said...
Mahira: Karan agar tum share karna chahate ho toh kar sakte ho, otherwise I will not force you...
Karan: Manu, she was my best friend, we both were partners in crime... I was her sher and she was my sherni... You know she was very possessive about me... No one would call me sher except her... Aur agar koi humara majak uda de ya hummey daat de toh woh unka aakhri din hota tha... She was a warrior... Har tarah ke weapons chala sakti thi woh... Horseriding was her favourite pass time... She was very brave... Girls ki tarah makeup karna, designer dresses pehenna, shopping karna ye sab unhe bilkul pasand nahi tha... But bina makeup, bina designer dresses ke bhi she looks naturally beautiful... Hummey abhi bhi yaad hai, that time I was twelve years old... Manu ne bet lagai thi Kartik naam ke ek ladke ke saath, hand to hand combat me...
Mahira: woh usse ladne wali thi???...
Karan: arrey nahi unhone humare naam se bet lagai thi... That I will beat him... And that too without asking me... But may be that was the trust which she had on me, that I will win... She was waiting for me in the akhada and...
Flashback:
Kartik: Manu I don't think ki aapka sher aayega... Aapne bekar me hi ye bet lagali...
Manu: Kartik agar sher do kadam piche lete hai na toh daar kar bagne ke liye nahi, apne sikar par attack karne ke liye...
I listen that and enter in the akhada and said " bilkul sahi kaha aapne Manu"... They all saw me, Kartik stared me in anger, when Manu snaps her fingers in front of his eyes and points her finger at me and said...
Manu: sher aaya...
She came to me and stand besides me and said...
Manu: sher he was saying that he is best, in hand to hand combat...
I said "really tab toh ye trend change karna padega"... We gave a high five to each other and I went to the akhada... Me and Kartik was fighting with each other and Manu was cheering for me... I was giving him punches on his stomach and mouth... I picked him up and slammed him into the ground... But he throw some sand on my eyes... Manu shout "sher"... She was coming to help me but I signal her to stop by showing my palm... I get up and fight against him, and win the bet...
She was so happy she hug me, I hug her back... She said...
Manu: I just knew it, ki humara sher hi jeetega...
I said "jab humari sherni humare saath hai toh jeet toh humari hi hogi na"...
End Of Flashback
Mahira: tumne kaha ki ye gun uski aakhiri nishani hai matlab???...
Karan: she... she is no more... Woh humara 13th birthday tha jo humne unke saath celebrate kiya tha... Ye gun unhone humare usse birthday par diya tha... Pata hai Mahira jab humne unki dead body dekhi thi na toh I was feeling like someone has cut half of my body... Unki death ke baad humne apne aapko teen dino tak apne room me band kar liya tha... Humare depression me jane ka ek reason Manu ki death bhi hai...
Mahira: depression... Tum depression me teh...
Karan: yeah... I was depressed... That's why I started drinking coffee, because I was not able to sleep properly...
Mahira: one minute ek reason matlab???... Aise aur bhi incidents huye hain tumhari life me???...
I smile and said...
Karan: sare incidents aaj hi janne hai aapko... I will tell you everything but not now... Now we have to get out of here...
We both went from there in search of a way to get out of this place... After roaming for an hour we didn't find a way out of here... I think we both are lost here... The sun has set, it is dark, and the cold is increasing... I said...
Karan: Mahira I think we both are lost here... I think we should find a place to stay at night, may be yaha koi village ho ya koi ghar... Let's find out...
I stopped, she didn't gave me answer...
Karan: Mahira are you listening to me... Mahi...
I saw her... She was lying unconscious... I shout... MAHIRA!!!....
