Sana stared at him in anger.
Sana slowly said the words as if explaining a word- SO. YOU. MEAN. ALL. THIS. LEAK- ALL THIS. IS BECAUSE. OF YOU?????
Sid gulped and said- No no fuck no! You know a big company not only works on their own. They need their external sources too.
He took a deep breath and continued.
Sid- So, there was a time when my dad was the CEO, we lost a lot of stocks and stuff... so he took help from the external ones. They just asked for a lab, we found that weird but allowed nevertheless because we were at our lowest. They started working on that room which we gave them and at first we were so busy to get our business up, we didn't care.
Suddenly- suddenly we lost one of our employees. I thought it was weird but again I was like I ignored it. One night I had to run back to the office around midnight for some urrgent files when I was coming back, I heard a growl. I froze and I knew it wasn't any imagination because it was too real to imaginative.
Sana clutched the hem of her dress waiting for him to continue.
Sid- I saw the lights of the lab open. I found it strange because usually they said they would close by 11pm max. But again along with the growling voice I couldn't stop.
I peeked in slowly and then what I saw shook me. Two doctors who had injected our employ was slowly turning into a zombie. It was so horrifying. I ran up to stop them, for fuck sake he was a father of two kids who were crying waiting for their father to come.
They started to argue saying they would inject me with it. After many arguements they agreed they won't do it and I foolishly believed.
A week later this happened.!
Sana gasped and said- Why why fucking why?
Sid- Power of the place Sana, the world needs to irradiate some to bring some. They have the vaccine to stop it all, the elections are coming through so you-
Sana- So they will make humans into fuvking zombies until they kill each other and suck their blood off? That's the people they wanna rule-
CRASH.
Sid- Fuckk!!!! Sana get it in the room and lock it.
Sana- What do you mean lock it?
Sid- I'll get more weapons and stuff! You just stay in there.
Sana- Are you crazy? How will I let you-
THUMP.
Sana glared angrily as she saw Sid who had locked the door from outside.
Sid looked at her through the glass with his eyes stern and said- I'll come back and open this. This office might be full of zombies right now.! I have to make the call, the safest place for you would be this room because no one can enter it.! It's technologically protected. And at the call the jet would be coming in some time.! They will get you out.
Sana- Why can't you stay?
Sid- I need to get you out.! Stay inside! Okay?
Sana sobbed and said- Don't go-
Sid didn't turn and ran out.
Sana slumped down on the floor slowly sniffling.
She held her face angrily and thought about all those days which she took for granted. Making that one plan which she refused so with Meeti which she could have gone! Those extra days she could have spent with her than fighting. Those 2 years she could have been with Sid, if she was vocal enough about her feelings. If she would have confronted him than just assuming. That one extra call from her parents which she didn't pick up because she found them asking about her everything annoying. That one last hug she could have given her parents. All the one last things she could have done with all the people she had in her life until this happened.
Why is so hard to just unapologetically love people around you? Why is such a shame when people openly love you? Why ? Does another pandemic needs to make us realise how short life is? How close we are to destruction? Why not be in the arms of the people you love?
It had been 6 hours since he was gone. Her heart was beating madly.
Her eyes were swollen with tears, a lot happened in this while.
Suddenly she heard some growling sound.
She paused and slowly brought her head up and she gulped in her scream.
A zombie had his face on the glass door, scrambling to come inside.
Suddenly her eyes widened when she saw a group of zombies looking at her.
Her heart sped up, but she knew that they couldn't come in.
That's what she thought.
Where is he? She was so scared for him.
Just when her eyes landed on the most heartbreaking, earth shattering scene.
Sidharth was under the zombies who were clawing him badly that even his face was blooded.
She left out a scream and started to bang the door to get out some way.
She couldn't BELEIVE her eyes, the shirt she wass seeing was now torn into pieces as the zombies bit him mercilessly.
She screamed, cried, banged the door and wailed.
She wanted to get out, the only one she loved and had now was now killed.
NOT YOU SID! Not you !!!
The surroundings around her started to blur out and all she could remember was those last moments- the door opened and zombies were running towards her to get her.
It's all over.
Sana closed her eyes as everything could flash in front of hers.
The first time she met him near the coffee machine, him pranking and laughing with her, she leaving him on the cold bed, she kissing him for the last time, him with her in the hideout and him being slowly killed.
She lost it all, her sister, her love and her friends.
Ab nahi thi himmat mermein ki main yeh Jeet paau! Har gayi mai, har gayi.
She slowly dipped into the darkness knowing she would be clawed out. She just didn't wanted to wake up and be those monsters.
This is all how it was supposed to end. They were with each other for a short period but they found their forever.

She opened her eyes to heavy screaming and the sound of a helicopter... helicopter?
Heaven mein kabse helicopter hone lage? She thought. She saw that she was now In a helicopter and saw someone holding her.
She looked up it was some unknown man who was on a walkie talkie.
Sana- How-how am I here?
Man- Sid called, we entered and saved you. You were passed out and just was about to be the dinner for the zombies. Luckily we were on time.
Sana got up in a frenzy and slapped at guy hard and said- YOU ARE NOT!!!!!! I- I lost FUCK YOU!!!! He's not here! Leave me down! It's better to go! I lost him!!!! I lost the will to live! I wish I could have never left him alone on the bed- I wish I would have said I love you for the last time!
I love you too!!!- she heard a reply back.
Her heart stopped.
She looked at the side and saw Sid with some wounds but with a smirk.
Sana burst out crying like a little kid and said- What??? How- how what? What!!!!! I saw you- you with my own eyes.
Sid- you saw my shirt.! Ken came through, he survived and he wanted to help! But he wanted a shirt so I gave him and was about to take another one for me when the zombies attacked and I had to run shirtless! I was coming with Ken and then when Ken got attacked.
Sana burst out crying again when the guy who she slapped glared at her and said- Bro she WIPPED HER NOSE WITH MY SHIRT RIGHT NOW AND SLAPPED ME?
Sid chuckled and grabbed her and hugged her tightly and said- It's all okay. Everything will be okay! We are together in this! You know we will survive it right?
Sana slowly brought her lips towards him kissed him with all her might.
I would never leave you, in this story and all the stories we would be part of!
I love you Sid.
Sid smiled and said- I love you too!
