Sana slurped her strawberry shake staring at the man in suit who was showing her a card's trick.
The guy- You know if we get married, I'll show you so many magic tricks?
Sana grinned like a child, clapping her hands forgetting that it's another blind date set up by her mother.
Meanwhile Sid was here in the locality for a jog, wearing his sports outfit when his eyes fell on a very particular face laughing.
He squinted his eyes and his eyes widened at sana with a man.
A huge surge of anger ran through him and he quickly entered and shouted SANA!!'
Sana stared at him in horror who stood infront of her not caring what the people might think of him.
Sana- W-what are you doing here?
The man looked at sid and then at Sana and said- Wanna see another trick beauty?
He put his hand on Sid's ass and spelt out something and pulled out a pigeon making Sana jump in happiness and sid in anger and disgust!
Sana laughed loudly holding her stomach while seeing the video she made and said- Oh.. ahaha my god... a pigeon coming out of Sid's ass !!! Ahahahahha!
Sid was now red in anger, he forced smiled at sana and said- You know now I'll like to show you a magic trick! Sana close your eyes!
Sana closed her eyes, but couldn't resist and saw sid pulling the man out of the restaurant with anger who is fighting him off like a child but sid doesn't care.
He comes back and sits on his seat and says- Open your eyes! TADA! The man disappeared.
Sana snorted and said-Hey I was having fun.
Sid glared at her and said- what fun? If you wanted to have fun you could have gone to a circus not wanting to date one clown!
Sana- Um correction, marry! I don't wanna date!
Sid growled and said- WOAH!
He snatched her drink and threw the straw off in anger and gulped it all down and took deep breaths to calm his anger down.
Sid- So, you are here to look for men to marry?
Sana- Um correction, I'm here because my mom wants me to!
Sid- She didn't like me?
Sana- Argh she did?
Sid- Wait you didn't like me?
Sana turned red and shuttered- Argh, wha-what do you mean? Do you want to get married?
Sid- YES!
Sana chocked on the air and now a little loudly said- Wait lemme rephrase, do you wanna get married TO ME?
Suddenly they heard claps all over and some shouted- SAY YES SAY YES!!! OMG A GIRL PROPOSED A GUY! That's so sweet! Say yes!!!
Sana and Sid stared at each other in utter embarrassment, but then Sid smirked and said- Awww you want to marry me?
Sana with her face beet root said- Get- me- out- of- this- situation-now!
Sid chuckled and acted suprised and said- YES BABY I WILL MARRY YOU! FOREVER AND EVER!
They heard claps and awes, they both got up to leave when said- KISS! KISS KISS!
Sana looked at the person in horror, before she could say a word she felt something warm on her forehead and her hands froze, her mouth was hung open. Her frozen body was pulled by Sid made her stand outside.
Sid crossed his arms and said- What was that? You want to marry someone else?
Sana crossed her arms mimicking him in deep voice and said- So? You want me to marry you?
Sid clicked his tongue and said- Why not?
Sana gasped in shock and her heart beat loudly and she said- What? Are you serious? Don't play around with me?
Sid didn't answer her, he took out his phone and Dialed a number.
Sid- Hi mom! Do you remember me on going on a date with a girl called Sana? Yeah your friends daughter. We have decided to get married.
Sana's eyes widened and she started to punch the air trying to stop him and said- WE? WE? What?
Sid quickly cut the call because his mom was sqeauling on the phone.
With that he started to walk away as if it was nothing, Sana pulled his shirt from the back and said- Hey you can't go like this after pulling something like that? What's wrong with you?
Sid- Nothing! Now you can't go to any dates and be stuck to m-
Sana- I KNEW IT! You DID THAT SO THAT I COULD BE STUCK WITH WORK AND focus on only that?
Sid looked at her dumb self and sighed.
Sid- Yeah! I don't like my workers slacking off and being distracted-
Sana- So you would marry all of them Kya huh?
Sid- Oh god Sana!!!'
Sana- This is wrong!!!!! Very wr-
Her words died down when she felt him closer to her face and he smirked- Why? Didn't you like me in school?
He slowly caressed her bunny cheeks with his thumb and continued- didn't you like to stare at me in school? Have fantasises to get married to me one day? Huh? Say something Na Sana!
Sana stood frozen with her heart beating rapidly and she gulped at the closeness.
Sid grabbed her chin ans said- Say up now!
Sana shuttered and said- I- I used to now! M- my tastes have changed.
Sid smirked and duck down to her face level because of the height difference and said- then I would like you to get your old tastes back, because now I wouldn't stop myself from tasting you anymore.
Sana was now close to passing out, she just stood there as a statue.
Sid backed up and said- Anyways I have to now complete my walk! Bye see you!
Sana didn't reply just stared at Sid jogging back as if he just said nothing.
Sana dialed a number and said- Haan ken? Pick me up I am too frozen like the frozen food to even move.
The next day in hospital, Sana was trying to avoid Sid like a plague. She was too embarrassed, confused with all of this.
Whenever Sid used to come near her direction she would run, literally run on the other direction.
Sana was checking on the new set of emergencies when her eyes fell on the boy with bruises on his face and a broken rib.
He came up last day and was staying here for another day under a free emergency health care for kids policy by the hospital. ( don't get into the facts.. please get into the story ehehe)
Sana's heart ached way too much for her liking. Like something was so off, this boy! This boy made her all sorts of feelings.
Sana got his file and saw- he was just 4!
Her heart dropped, because he looked way too matured for his age. He like a very quite adult just lied down on the bed with no emotions and stared up in the ceiling. Not like other kids jumping up.
She stopped a nurse and asked her- Where are his parents?
The nurse shrugged and said- He was found by someone. He said he has a family and he will leave tomorrow.
Sana looked at the man in horror- He's just four? How can he go alone?
She walked towards the boy and smiled- Hey!
The boy smiled a little and say- H-hey!
Sana got her hand towards his hair to pat him but he flinched.
She looked at him shocked but quickly covered it.
Sana- I'm sorry! I'm not going to hit you.
Sana- Ohkay! So did your parents get you food? ( the policy did not have food included)
The boy nodded and said- Y-yeah! They dropped! T-hey had to go to w-work.
Sana nodded and saw a blue old tiffin box.
Sana- Okay baby I'll see you around!? I'll come after your lunch to get your wounds healed okay?
The boy gulped at the word baby, that's for the first time someone used any form of endearment for him.
Sana walked to the next patient and worked.
While working she saw the boy slowly make his way out.
Sana went towards his bed and opened the box to see if he has eaten all but was shocked, as it was empty. Like as if there never was any food. Her heart dropped in her stomach.
She ran out following the boy secretly who stopped at the canteen and stared at the food with a soft smile and gulped.
He was so far away but he tried to sniff the aroma.
That's it, Sana broke down into tears.
She still followed him to went towards the drinking water area and saw him drinking loads and loads of water. After that she quickly hid as he walked back.
She went to him after wipping her tears and plastering a fake smile said- So you had your lunch?
The boy nodded with a soft smile and said- I- I had m-my favourite pasta.
Now Sana couldn't control it anymore, she without a word ran to the nearest empty room and sobbed loudly. This all hurt her to another level and seeing that particular boy like that made her heart crush into pieces.
After crying for 20 minutes straight, she wiped her tears and walked out when her collided with Sid who was about to curse but stopped when he saw her face.
Sid looked at her face worried and said - Did you cry?
Sana with her eyes so puffy and nose very red nodded a no.
Sid grabbed her hand and pulled her inside and said- WHATS wrong?
Sana burst out crying holding him like a little koala hugging it's mother.
Sana told him everything and even Sid's heart pinched.
Sid grabbed her face and slowly wipped her tears and said- Ssh! Don't try love! Don't try! Relax! I'll handle everything! You go today to the blood bank! Okay? Please submit these files for me! And don't you cry! It doesn't looks good on you.
Sana sniffed and to her shock and her happiness, Sid hugged her tightly making her sigh in his arms happily.
He felt so warm as he engulfed her into a hug and patted her back softly.
Sid- Now go! I'll see.
Sana nodded and walked out while Sid took a deep breath and walked towards the emergency ward looking for the boy.
He looked at the boy who was staring at his fingers and his heart hurt too. The boy was so innocent and pure! He looked so innocent.
Sid walked towards the boy with a smile and said- Hey! You are patient number 7067! What's your name?
Boy looked at the man in confusion and said- N-name? He then thought that he was never named. The day he was born he was said words which people say is not good.
Boy gulped and said- y-you c-can call me patient.
Sid fisted his hands to control up his feelings too and said- Um so yeah! There's this offer in the hospital to provide free food for the patients. So I hope you didn't have anything?
The boy's eyes lit up and he said- N-No- no sir!
Sid- perfect! Now come up.! Let's go to the canteen!
The boy sprung up happily and walked with Sid.
The boy when entered the hall got intimidated and said- S-ir are you sure this is free right?
Sid softly looked at him and said yes.
Sid- WHATS your favourite food?
Boy- Um- Um pasta!
Sid nodded with a smile and gave him a plate and said just tell me whatever you want in your plate and I'll put it okay?
The boy looked at the buffet with star eyes and Sid started to fill. When the pasta came up, the boy said- Please put this thing too, it tastes nice?
Sid froze and thought he doesn't even know or has seen what pasta is..! So he was lying?
Sid nodded and after a heavy plate he sat down with him.
The boy started to eat quickly, gulping down the food which made Sid chuckle and he said- Eat slolwy or you will choke.
After the food the boy for the first time looked happy.
Before leaving Sana came in to check at the boy. She didn't know why but she couldn't stop.
She saw the little boy smiling with his mouth a little open.
She softly patted his head and was about leave and turn-but was about to scream but Sid kept a hand on her mouth.
Sid- God don't scream!
Sana- You literally creeped me out. You walk like a ghost.
Sid- You're going home?
Sana nodded and she tried to push him away but she lost her balance and was about to fall on the boy but Sid held her waist firmly and she stared at him.
Sid- Clumsy girl.
Sid bent a little towards her face to say something but Sana wanted to go out so she tried to get up at the same time and he wanted to bent down at the same time and suddenly their lips landed on each other making their eyes widening in shock with butterflies all over their stomach.
Suddenly they heard a whisper in the sleep- um, yummy! Food.
They snapped their heads at the boy who was sleeping.
